I absolutely enjoyed my dinner at Ivy’s for my birthday everything was great from the host , the food, the drinks and our waiter. Thank you ivy’s kitchen for helping make my birthday even more beautiful then it already was.
It was a great experience for my birthday the food was delicious Martin was our waiter he was awesome, loved the atmosphere I will definitely be going back it was five star restaurant ***** it was 10+ ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great Restaurant and dining experience.
The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were excellent!!! I recommend the blueberry pancakes and the steak, eggs and bacon wrapped asparagus for brunch. As an appetizer, the brisket queso is amazing not to mention the peach mimosas. In the spirit of self love, do yourself a favor and visit Ivy Kitchen! ?
Chris was an amazing server. Food was top notch. Everything was so good, we returned the movie tickets.
We had such a great experience here. On a busy Saturday night, the food still came out promptly and it was so delicious! I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and it was like ?? our drinks and dessert were also very delicious. Our server was awesome too! We really enjoyed this place and highly recommend it.
First time here. Food was prepared surprisingly well, tasted fantastic, and presentation was superb. Crab cakes were huge with large chunk crab. Filet was cooked perfectly. It felt like the bar was a little close to the main seating area, but at least I could keep up with the b-ball playoffs on mother’s day! The whole party was please with the experience.
Burger I had was well done but tasted a bit burnt and the beef patty didn't really have any flavor to it. For a $16 burger I don't think it was worth it. Could have been a bad day for the cook or at least that's what I'm hoping because I may return for a second round. Service was very prompt though and it had a cool vibe. Music was very retail shopping mall and I wasn't too into it. Overall it...
Food and cocktails were overpriced...some items were tasty, while others were bland. I'd go back for appetizers and beer.
This is an outstanding restaurant with well priced great food with sttention to detail service .
The food is good and the service is amazing. Great for a business lunch
I wanted to try something different versus meeting my clients at a typical chain restaurant.
Awesome meals menu and service
Love this place. Food is amazing. Waitstaff is wonderful, Cody served us and the hot guy in the glasses refilled my water and I'm always grateful for that. Drinks were fantastic. If you like gin an Ivy cocktail is perfect. The movie was lame af but that's not their problem lol.
The hostess was reluctant to let us move to a table where the sun wasn't shining in my eyes which was a little weird. It was also so dang hot as the heat was on full blast and it was 65 degrees outside. After the waitress offered to ask a manager turn
Food and service are consistently terrific. A real gem for business lunches since it combines great food/service with a quiet environment where tables aren't on top of each other. And also great for a pre-/post- movie dinner--outstanding appetizers, including some of the best sushi in town, great craft cocktails and 1/2 wine (on all wines) on Wednesday night makes it an awesome choice.
The service at first after I was seated wasn't that great. I was waiting for a friend and wasn't approached by anyone until after my friend sat at table. The waffle snack they serve was yummy. The server ended up being very attentive but not overbearing. The food was very good. Had a turkey club and sweet potato fries which were cooked just right. The mimosas were also very good and for around...
Visited this restaurant for an NYE date with my husband. Great local vibe and delicious food. Will definitely visit again.
Went to the Ivy Kitchen for dinner before a movie at the LOOK theater. Good food and service and could just walk right to the movie. One stop for dinner and a movie! Nice evening.
We love Ivy! The food is very good, the drinks are great, the ambience is stylish, and if you're doing a movie, you can take you wine with you. Even without a show, Ivy is a great option in Prestonwood.
Ivy Kitchen is always reliable in their quality of service and cuisine.
I enjoyed the evening w/great food
I love Ivy! Great approachable food, good drinks, beautiful space, and it's right there at the Look theater, and you can bring your leftover wine into the movie. But even without the movie, it's a great option in Prestonwood area.
Excellent pre-movie dining, atmosphere, open air dining.
I've eaten here a few times over the last year and stopped going as food went downhill. But noticed a new menu and decided to try again. Service was very good. Food delicious. And and good value as we went for half price wine on Wednesday. I ordered the herb roast chicken w mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. Excellent @$20. My ony complaint was not enough natural jus and chicken was...
We love dining at this restaurant. It's close to the house, connected to the theater and has great tasting entrees. And the cole slaw is fabulous!
Wow, everything we ordered was tasty and wonderful! I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu. Thanks Ivy Kitchen!
Excellent location to have dinner before, or after, the movie!
Food was fresh and hot. Attentive service. Meals were very good - desserts were just OK.
Our waiter was absolutely amazing. so friendly and very happy and entertaining. loved the moustache
The hostess sat us on the patio for a quiet area which was perfect. Inside is a lively bar and dining area. The salmon was good and the rest of the group enjoyed their meals.
Our party went later in the evening. Our service was prompt the food was great.
Ivy was very accommodating and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Addison.
Service was terrible. Restaurant Week menu was not a value; prices were similar to regular menu.
It took too long (8 min.) waiting after asking twice and me going to the manager to get our desert to go so we would not miss our movie start. We had to ask for the complimentary Mac n cheese with Rest. Week menu.
Burgers were good but at $14 little pricey Crab mac and cheese should not be missed!
A group of seven of us from our neighborhood dining group chose Ivy Kitchen for our annual Restaurant Week outing. It was a great choice. The options were varied and no one had trouble choosing what to order. Interestingly, we could make substitutions in the side dishes -- not a usual practice at other places on the restaurant week menu. Portions were generous. The service was attentive without...
It was loud...and not many patrons there. Food was fair at best and service was poor. Did not appear they had enough staff working the floor. Will not be back!
Good turkey club and good burger
Conveniently located in/next-to LOOK cinema. Food was just-so-so. Service was ok.
We enjoyed our early dinner after a Saturday movie. I had the seared tuna salad and my husband had the prime rib sandwich. I think mine was the better of the two. Service was pleasant and prompt. The menu is fairly compact but offers sufficient variety for large appetites as well as smaller. The food is interesting and varied and offers up some new interpretations of old favorites. I prefer the...
Amazing -- you need to go!! The pork chop is delicious and worth the trip!!!
Excellent meal excellent restaurant
The wait staff was nice. There is a nice selection of menu items for everyone.
Cool restaurant with a great menu! You kind of forget your in Dallas for a while as the view out the high windows looks straight into the trees across the road. All of our meals were great and the lemon blueberry cake was fantastic - definitely could have eaten a few more slices. It was quiet when we went (Monday night), so would love to go back when there is more of a crowd. Glad we found this...
Both mine and my friends entree's were not good. Very disappointing for the cost.
It's my go to establishment for a business lunch. We can carry a conversation while eating.
Great cocktails!
The waffles and the potatoes were OK. Service was ok also. A little expensive for being ok. Im sure there is better places to eat breakfast
Honestly I don't understand the price point listed for this restaurant as $120 for 2 people. That's not even close to accurate.
Awesome brunch! Sat and sun from 11a to 3p! $3 drinks (mimosa, sangria, michelada, bloody mary)! And they have patio seating! Heck ya! Doesn't get any better than that! Oh, and there are plenty of parking spaces! No valet needed! For drinks, the bloody mary and sangria was just meh, but the mimosa and …
Grabbed dinner at the Ivy Kitchen after a show. Booths are very comfy, and huge. The sides are the stars here! Among the four in our party we ordered pan seared chicken, steak salad, steak and frites, and fried shrimp, with sides of mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts were flash fried with …
We called in for Valentine's Day to check on the restaurant's traffic before we arrived. The host said the rush was over and we should be ok. My fiancee and I we're seated immediately upon arrival and Martin waited us. Today was his 6th day Ivy Kitchen. Martin was very easy going and attentive. We had a …
Came in last night after flying in from Chicago. We came in after a movie a couple years ago and liked it so much that we came back. Nice wine selection, I had the steak frites, Mac and cheese, and the crab and shrimp dip, with cheesecake for dessert. All of it was excellent, and Jermel took great care of us. Next time we come through Dallas, we will certainly be back.
Stopped in before seeing Ted 2 about a month ago and enjoyed the Pan Seared Salmon! It paired perfect with my glass of savignon blanc. I noticed that they also have a dinner and a movie option, so I'll likely come back and either test that out. I also have enjoyed some bites in the theater that Ivy has provided! They were all delicious.
The peach mimosa is one of my favorite mimosas in the city. The crab Benedict and breakfast potatoes are tasty as well. I didn't care for the sangria but that mimosa more than makes up for it.
Enjoyed sitting at the bar for sushi and wine prior to my movie. Nice atmosphere.

Great great great place! Awesome service, creative plates, diverse drink menu. New favorite place!
Sushi was the freshest and a good bartender. Great experience dining @ the bar
Salmon was dry and veggies overcooked. Average place overall.
It's yummy for my tummy sweetie

If one shuts down the town on Saturday night as late as our group did, one would thrill that this bumpin brunch spot offers tasty hangover cures until 4:00pm. The menu satiates sweet and savory palates alike. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced when possible. The service (at least on this occasion) is friendly and efficient. Mimosa carafes need ice...
Wonderful ambience. Great for a date night. The bone in filet is quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. Lobster was prepared perfectly. Wine list was excellent. One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas.
My wife and I were both servers for many years and we both understand the struggle managers have trying to schedule Sundays, servers distaste for working Sundays and the drop off in the caliber of the guests (and their tips) on Sundays. It's the crappy day of the week to work and you are typically new, low man or in...
My husband and I just got back from Brunch at Nick and SAMs grill today. First off we were a little disappointment by the limited brunch menu consisting mainly of breakfast and sushi, with a couple of salads, burger, club sandwich and a few flat breads available. We ordered the breakfast tacos, buffalo chicken flatbread, and a club sandwich with...
We had been to the original Nick & Sam's before & weren't too impressed. So I was pleasantly surprised with our experience at Nick & Sam's GRILL.
We had great service, the food was excellent (IMO much better than Nick & Sam's in uptown) & the price is very reasonable. With an appetizer, two entree's and dessert & coffee we...
The food, service and attention to detail is fabulous. Great for lunch or dinner; business or casual outing with friends and a fun outside patio.
Might be a little difficult to find because Nick & Sam's Grill attached to the new LOOK Theater in Addison; however, once you visit you will keep coming back. Be sure to take a tour...
IVY Kitchen started out as a place to meet, eat and drink before or after a movie. IVY's grown to become simply one of the best "anytime" restaurants and bars in the Addison corridor. We feature superb quality, creative takes on classic American comfort food, a great wine list, some of the best original cocktails around and super cold draft beers. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to...
