I travel with a baby and it is huge having the sink, microwave and fridge. The extra space is rare in this area. Great value with free breakfast love the waffles. Parking sometimes is a challenge on weekends when hotel is full.

We recently stayed at the Springhill Suites in Newark NJ. We had to spend one night in Newark previous to a cruise. We found this facility to be clean and comfortable. The small sitting area and desk were a welcome surprise. The front desk staff were personable and helped us find a taxi for the ride to the cruise port. The Springhill Suites had a very nice continental breakfast, but no...
The whole idea of "suites" shows that this is a little different. 2 king-size beds with a sectioned off lounge area gives this room a home-from-home feeling. The complimentary breakfast had everything that one could have hoped for (plastic plates made me feel as though I was at a kid's party but I understand the decision to use them). To give it an even more homely feeling, I felt as though the...
Clean room with complimentary shuttle to and from Newark Airport - less than 10 minute drive. Front staff desk very helpful in choosing where to order food to have delivered to hotel (they have many menus behind the check-in counter). Shuttle driver very nice and courteous. Easy to get shuttle from parking area at airport - arrives 15 and 45 minutes after the hour. Didn't notice airport noise...
Our stay was very comfortable in a queen suite for our family for 4 (two teens). Room was a bit smaller than other SpringHill Suites but still had adequate closet space and room for us all to move around. Facility was crowded (no surprise being near the airport and NYC) but clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The big negative about this hotel is location. While the room was quiet, the...
Night arrival. remember the song "going in circles". The signage on the freeway is very small. The name is included with Marriott -instead of Marriott/SpringHill to catch your eye. The stay was nice and the room was fine. The staff was great. Modern lobby -bright- I used shuttle service to airport which was helpful.
We flew Porter to NYC and stayed here for night before taking NewJersey Transit to Manhattan to catch our Cruise. The hotel is clean, quiet and has breakfast included. If you drive to Newark, you can ask for the parking option and leave your car. Last year we did this and cost us $160 for 1 night/4 people and 10...
I stay at Marriott properties weekly for work. I have came to expect spring hill suites to be at least middle of their line. This hotel has no food which I have always expected from a spring hill. Delivery is only offered by a couple of pizza places.their market has few choices.
This hotel is quite basic. Calling it a suite is a stretch compared to others I have been to. We wanted to stay in a suite as we were travelling with a young child and her bedtime is a lot earlier than ours.
The room is separated by a wall creating the impression of two rooms. There also wasn't much...
I was neither impressed or distressed by this joint. It was close to the airport and cheap so we stayed there. Thank Goodness it was for only one night going and coming from Europe. They had breakfast but it was VERY underwhelming. Could have gotten a taxi to McDonalds for better food. It was quiet and they have a shuttle...
We arrived late on Tuesday night. After getting to area where shuttle arrives we missed it by couple minutes so needless to say had to wait. To me 2 shuttles should be running. The distance to the hotel is a distance but to wait for 1 shuttle to go back and forth is frustrating in itself. We eventually arrived around...
This is a Springhill Suites, so room had a small sitting area with desk and a mini bar area. Only downside is that this room had an adjoining door to the next suite and we could actually hear the TV from that room in our suite. I did mention this to the front desk and suggested they look into more...
I was with a group of about 150. I felt like it took longer than necessary for our keys to be ready. I felt the room was clean and the whole hotel as well. My group was given a conference room for breakfast. We were not allowed to eat in the main breakfast area. My group was a high school...
We were only here for one night because we were flying out early the next morning and didn't want to drive an hour early morning to the airport in addition to loosing an hour due to daylight savings time.
The hotel was clean and the check in area very vibrant. They had a guest computer where I printed my boarding...
Great place to stay. Staff was wonderful and the airport shuttle was great. Breakfast was good, normal selection. The facility was clean as well as my room. Bed was very comfortable. I had a late flight so I was very thankful they have the snacks up front
PRO: Nice sized room, friendly staff, great rate.
Rooms, and bed was clean and tidy.
Basic amenities you needed; only paper cups, no kettle and no utensils in the room. Plastic ones available in the lobby.
CONS: Shuttle bus slow and unreliable, ended up using the shuttle for the adjacent Marriott property after 45-minute wait. Shuttle due every 30 minutes,...
I know that they all want to be close to the airport BUT being right on Rtes 1-9 was like a 24 hour stay on a racetrack. It is clean and the breakfast is more than adequate for a motel like this, but the noise level of both the roadway and the wall heater made for a sleepless night. Stayed...
We had a overnight layover after our trip to Aruba. We took the hotel shuttle from the airport and in the morning to get back. We took a Cab to go for dinner, on the way back the cab driver had a really tough time finding the place (he stopped the meter so we knew he wasn't trying to scam...
Basic hotel. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Work out room was clean. It is right on a busy highway, you could hear a lot of noise from the road. Breakfast was prefect (remember is it FREE). I had juice, tea, fresh fruit, muffins, toast and sausage.
This hotel is perfect for any occasion. Very swift and friendly staff made my check in perfect and any other thing I needed. shuttle service was perfect for our city traveling. Rooms were clean and very quiet for being right next to the airport. The pool was clean and quiet very relaxing. I enjoyed the time there and felt like...
The rooms are clean. Staff is very helpful. Complimentary breakfast spread is good. It is Closer to the outlet mall and airport. Free shuttle to airport makes the transport easy. It's every 30 min during day. Would stay here again.
First room was obviously smoked in. So I immediately went to front desk to request another room. Quickly given new room. Maybe too quick as the keys did not work. I had to go back down to the front desk to get it taken care of. After returning from work the next day, my parking pass had expired. Went to front desk and they reset the pass. Then I found out my room keys had expired as I...
Sicuramente esperienza gradevole anche se sarebbe opportuna una navetta per Manhattan
Good breakfast; shuttle to and from airport every 30 minutes
Hotel has no access to any dining. No restaurant or bar. It was also very noisy due to traffic into New York.
The major downfall was that during our stay, the hotel had as guests a couple of coaches full with youngsters and they were very noisy, I called reception a couple of times to complaint, as the youngsters were banging on each other doors, shouting, laughing, getting into each others rooms, and we needed to go to sleep for an early rise.
Also that there is no safe in the room, the safes are...
Friendly staff, great location! Shuttle drives you every 30 min to the airport
Room next to elevator, bed next to wall connected elevator and heard elevator abd people talking all night.
Even had ear plugs in my ears.
Sauber, freundlich, gute Highwayanbindung
Bei 150 Euro pro Nacht kann man das auch erwarten. Das dann noch 12 Doller fürs Parken pro Tag berechnet finde ich frech und sollte bei so einem Preis dabei sein.
Great stay and breakfast. Close to the airport. Clean and good customer service.
Every interaction with the staff was great. The service was top knotch. The location was easy to access everything. the staff was extremely knowledgeable about food options, had delivery menus on hand, and made excellent recommendations. Hey had printed directions for those wishing to travel to the city as well. The indoor pool makes this a great year round destination. The shuttle services...
Staff extremely friendly and welcoming.
Lovely, updated decor in lobby and suites. Rooms very clean.
Excellent place to rest up before or after a trip.
Only set back is no onsite dining but had full buffet breakfast which was very good.
Needs restaurant and bar. Very close to airport, Staff very helpful.
Clean. But the staff not too curteous. Pool and spa were a hit.
The hotel was nice, we picked this hotel for a couple of reasons, one we could park our car here for a good rate for the week while we were away. and two, close to the airport. Both worked out well, shuttle to the airport both ways, morning breakfast was good, kids enjoyed it. But trying to get to the hotel by gps from the garden state park way was a no go, had to call the hotel and get the...
Loved the great hot breakfast. There is a free shuttle which we used to get us to the train to get into New York City. Not much around the hotel itself. But for a two day layover it was perfect. Super friendly staff there. Easy as pie check in and out.
Always clean and quiet staff is amazing bed are super cozy
Very nice clean hotel with easy access to the airport.
Non-hotel guests coming in and out, bed was poorly made and the sheet kept coming up every single time I turned over. Staff was pleasant
Got in late to EWR and stayed here rather than head to Harlem being winter. The hotel is your typical airport hotel. Staff was very good. Has a nice indoor pool and breakfast was good. Rooms were fine and have no complaints. Pick up service from EWR can be confusing. They share the same van as the Courtyard (next door)....
This is exactly what I wrote to the Asst Manager when asked for my review:
Pros: clean, spacious rooms, free parking, hot tub, breakfast, a/p shuttle, internet, staff.
Cons; difficult to find – Garmin doesn’t take the official address; then to cross 3 lanes of high speed traffic to enter the parking lot; no restaurant (Lunch/Dinner) on site or nearby....
SpringHill Suites Newark Liberty International Airport Hotel is very good for an early morning flight or late arrival. The staff was very helpful and the shuttle service was prompt. We arrived on a very cold night/morning-after 1am. We parked our car and wanted to take the 4am shuttle. The room was clean and comfortable. This was a January trip so...
Nothing super fancy, but clean, comfortable, and stylish, and right near the airport. Suite had a cozy separate sitting area. Decent hot breakfast included - would stay again just for the chocolate bread!
Quiet hotel, very clean, breakfast bar well stocked in the mornings, coffee and hot water with tea bags always available, shuttle to airport every 30 minutes, staff friendly and helpful
If you don't have your own transportation, you have to use the shuttle from the hotel through airport and from there you can use taxis, buses. The employees are very kind . Nice breakfast.
We arrived at the hotel by 8:15am and were in a cozy and comfortable room by 8:25. Check in was prompt and smooth and the staff was really sweet to inform us that since breakfast was still on we cud join in. It was a very nice gesture as we arrived from a 15 hour flight and the weather was...
I can honestly say even though I was only there for ONE night it was awesome and I got some of the best sleep that I ever had in recent years - I thought the highway noise would be a factor but it was not a problem.
Very close to airport and Liberty State Park. Easy traveling from hotel
Clean hotel, but there are no restaurants that are in the hotel or walking distance from the hotel.
The good thing is very close to the airport, and there is free shuttle and free breakfast. It is ok for just one night stay, clean and simple.
This is a great place to spend the night before or after a long-haul flight from Newark International airport. A free shuttle is provided by the hotel which comes every 30 minutes to and from the airport. Check in was quick and easy, and we were in our room within an hour of arriving from Auckland, New Zealand.
The rooms...
Someone kept trying to get in our room a few times
Want money back. Didn't like the hotel. Bad service. Dirty room. Broken toliet. Dirty sheets.
Needed to rest after been held up all day because of a storm. The hotel provided the rest I wanted.
Very courteous staff. Terrific, full breakfast buffet with choices for everyone. Great indoor pool and hot tub (perfect for winter stays). Easily accessible, plenty of (paid) parking. Reliable, strong (and free) wifi. All rooms are spacious and comfy, and have a fridge, microwave and bar sink (very handy). Their snack stand has frozen meal options in case you're snowed in. Any other hotel in...
Nice hotel, a little hard to find at first. Over it was ok.
Hotel was nice and quite, staff was nice and brought stuff when we needed it, pool was nice and clean
Beware that this hotel is not close to any food or convenience stores. We wanted to buy some wine, but the hotel doesn’t sell any and there was nowhere around to get any. We ended up getting food delivery for dinner as they have some menus and recommendations at the front desk. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. It...
Flying from Newark early flight, SpringHill is best. Parking is next door. Rooms are always clean & comfy, front desk & people that help with luggage are top notch. Always a welcome smile and helpful.
Rooms are very clean and nice. Comfy beds. Quite. Third time staying when I visit the city.
The place is excellent. The room is spacious and very clean. The room smelled great and the bed was confortable. The hotel day staff and evening staff was very helpful except the ladies. They are not customer oriented.
I picked this place because it's in the Marriott Family. I was able to price match with Marriott price guarantee and was really happy on the price I received. Here are a couple things I noticed during my stay:
1. This hotel is between the freeway and the Newark airport. I stayed on the freeway side and when I didn't...
The hotel is showing it's age. It needs updating. We were disappointed in the shuttle going back to the airport. It only drops off at P4 instead of the terminal where your flight leaves..
Room was clean and good for an overnight. Had transportation to the airport. We could also do a Park and Fly and leave our car at the hotel while we were gone. Convenient for the airport.
There was a cafe at another hotel right next store.
Check-in was fast, and the staff was very nice. Shuttle runs from the EWR airport every 30 mins, which was very convenient.
I didn't expect such a nice complementary breakfast for the price. I thought it would be cold--some pastries, coffee, and juice, but there were hot eggs and sausages. There were also cheese, ham, and yoghurt to choose from... I was planning to take my breakfast at the...
Clean and comfortable for an overnite stay. Stayed overnite for an early flight departure from Newark Airport. Staff was efficient and very cordial. Booked this hotel via another website for a "park and fly." Recommend getting your parking stub validated before trying to get out of the gated lot. Not a lot of room to back-up to complete the process....
It was nice and clean. It's was easy to access. Close distance of where I needed to get to. But there wasn't anything mentioned about paying for parking. Each day you are charged a fee for parking. And it was never mentioned.
Helpful staff
Big clean rooms
Great breakfast
Overall very pleasant place to stay
This hotel was very convenient, being it was located so close to New Jersey airport.
Hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is great but you are sandwhiched inbetween two busy highways and get a ton of road noise. You also have to drive through a mazz of on and off ramps to get to the place. Great value but not enough to come back
We stayed here on a Saturday night before leaving on a cruise. The biggest caution with this property is finding it! Call the front desk to ask for GPS information and/or directions. They were very helpful and patient. The route is very convoluted and the signage--both for roadways and for the hotel--is not good. The hotel is located between two...
Day before my travel I called hotel to inform them of my correct last name on the reservation. Hotel told me to call Expedia to change it. When I asked if hotel can provide me the phone number to Expedia's customer service (because it did not appear anywhere on Expedia website) hotel didn't make effort to help me, told me straight out to search it through Google. We had allergies the whole 3...
The tv kept freezing and there was a line at the bottom of the screen it wouldn't go away. Housekeeping came to clean the room but didn't cleaning completely trash was still not taken out. And I have been at this hotel several times in the hot tub has not been fixed over year.
We arrived late at EWR, flying in from DIA. The front desk clerk was very professional and checked me in more quickly than I've ever been checked in anywhere else, including printing me a parking lot entry ticket.
The room was very clean, nicely appointed and gave us a very comfortable night of sleep. Instead of the typical heat/cool controls...
Quality place. Very spacious room, bed was comfortable. Nice living area with couch and desk. Microwave and mini-fridge. Extremely clean. Breakfast was good - eggs and sausage, waffles and fruit. Coffee at all times in lobby. Parking cost is high. Staff was nice. Had a pool and hot tub. Small exercise area with cardio equipment.
Hotel was great only issue was a loud elevator. Staff was friendly and called a taxi for us when we needed to leave.
It's a bear to find at night, after dark. With the piles of snow, even harder to find if driving. Loved the breakfast and the coffee. Elevator doors catch and can scare some people
Nice hotel but you have to pay for parking ,and there are no restaurants within walking distance. Very clean rooms.
It was fab. Although they mistakenly gave my room to someone else so I had someone trying to come into my room while I was in the bath. Nobody apologised for this.
Anyway, the room was lovely, breakfast good and swimming pool clean though not warm enough. Gym was cool but some machines were not working.
I had a good time overall.
Only complaint was parking was $12 and the lot was not completely shoveled/plowed and most ppl were parking in snow banks
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and lovely and the breakfast was above what we had expected.
The hardest part is finding it. Better signage would be really helpful.
Check in was fast. Lots of hot water. Beds comfy. Excellent breakfast and 24/7 coffee. This was just a sleep-over between flights, not a holiday visit to an ugly, commercial part of Newark...
We scheduled to stay there for one night. However because of the snow storm all flight cancelled and we stayed two nights in our suit. First of all, the rooms are very comfortable. Actually I need to mention about the staff members. They were extremely helpful, as many of the people stuck in the hotel because of the snow, they...
shuttle was not dependable. also way off the beaten path. if this hotel were closer to the airport it would be so much better. Also there were cops at the hotel. not sure how good or bad that is.
also an energy surcharge. what's that about?
Bom hotel. Próximo Newark Airport. Quarto bom tamanho. Cama confortável. Shuttle para o aeroporto.
Muy buena, agradable, buen servicio
Desayuno excelente, muy buen trato y
amables todos en general
With so many choices in the area, we based our choice of stay following the Tripadvisor reviews. I needed a place with a microwave and a kitchenette so we narrowed our choices down to the hotels with these facilities. We booked through booking.com, and found a very good rate of around $120 per night without taxes. Parking was extra. The...
Despite the never-ending drone of street and airport traffic, this budget Marriott property is kept in very good condition and offers comfortable rooms, a gym and swimming pool. Cleanliness and attention to detail are obvious priorities to the management team.
I chose to stay at this hotel because we were leaving the next morning on a 9 AM flight to St. Kitts, it was January (making the weather a big question mark) and we lived an hour and a half from Newark Airport. The plane only made one run per week so if we missed it we were in big...
I had an 8 hour lay over on my way to the demonican republic and booked here so I could get some sleep. I called to make sure they had a shuttle and was told that it comes every half hour. I arrived at 5 past the hour and called once I was at the hotel shuttle area and was...
Due to a late flight I arrived after proper "Check-in." The staff was friendly, helpful, informative and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. The bedding was very clean and extra soft. Don't understand why there were appx 7 different ESPN channels on cable - least of my woes. The Shuttle drivers were professional. Everything was perfect. Breakfast options were...
I did enjoy the jr. Suite that they gave me. Nice breakfast very close to the airport which I think was great. Free shuttle to go shopping provided by the hotel. Will stay again. Very convenient to the mall and close to new York .
nothing too exciting but when you get what you want which was quiet and clean and convenient and also i must not forget an excellent breakfast buffet "free" (very pleased they had oatmeal) than what more is there?
Stayed here for an overnight visit. The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly. Very well kept and clean. The pillows were so soft I wanted to steal one for myself. I liked how the toilet and sink were seperate from the room with the shower. There was not a tub, but I did not need one, so...
The Springhill Suites was nice. Great room and pleasant enough front desk. I would have given it 4 stars but it was so difficult navigating there and the front desk was not helpful enough. The breakfast was good as well but get down by 8 because on Sat after 830 it's a zoo. People trying to cook 8 waffles for...
The hotel is a short shuttle ride from the Newark Liberty International airport. The suites are clean and have a fridge and microwave in them. The breakfast was included in the stay and had a good size spread.
We stayed at this property for couple of days during the weekend trip to NYC. The place is quite close to the Newark airport with just a 5 minutes drive from the airport on the regular hotel shuttles. Rooms are average and have been renovated recently. The location of the tissue papers in the rest rooms was a puzzle to...
This hotel is convenient for Newark flights. It has a regularly scheduled shuttle between the Newark air train and the hotel. Suites are spacious with a sitting area and king bed if you wish. There is a microwave, but no plastic utensils, paper plates or popcorn. There is no restaurant, but you can order in from nearby restaurants or walk...
Spent the night here before going to Manhattan Port Terminal for our cruise. The night manager was rude when they said we need $50 on cc which we didn't have. (Got pick pocketed on the way to airport). So she told us we need $250 cash for incidentals! How can you ONLY want $50 on my card and $250 in...
The hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff. The price is reasonable and affordable. It is well placed to catch an early flight and the shuttle takes you to the airport.
I will definately recommend to my friends and family.
If you have to stay near the airport, I recommend this hotel. The room is spacious with a sitting and working area. Beds are comfy and room is clean. Of course you do hear some of the overhead flights but it does not disturb your sleep. They charge a fee for parking of $12 per night which I never appreciate....
This is a great hotel to stay for an early flight out of Newark Airport. Room was clean and breakfast decent. I would stay there again. A little tricky to find the hotel but directions were sent in advance.
The initial check in staff was great however because I'm service guy, they lack it here. Came down to the desk to inquire about where to eat and they handed me a sheet of paper. I asked the question again and she told me to look at the paper. Order a wake up call and that felt rush at 1am....
The managers, front end staff, housekeeping was excellent....courteous, respectful and helpful, The room was perfect. I had a view of the city....I really enjoyed my stay and plan on coming back soon....
Love you guys.....
Penni aka Bernadette 2
We stayed here on a recent trip to New York City for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We checked in on a Tuesday, planned to check out on Wednesday to stay in the city and then re-check in on Thursday for the remainder of our trip. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and very helpful giving us...
Excellent hotel! Great rooms, nice pool, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Perfect location with easy access to other areas. I would definitely stay again!!
Took forever for the shuttle for the hotel. This hotel is nothing like the other Spring Hill Suites I have stayed at. Much smaller and not as clean!
We were heading back to Chicago when our flight was cancelled. We wanted something close by and affordable. We found the SpringHill Suites which was near the airport and offered a free shuttle. There were no restaurants in the hotel so we walked down two doors to the other hotel. It was fine for one night.
The staff was very friendly. I like the arrangement of the room with a little living room area and refrig. The shuttle service to the airport was also good.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, and the facilities (pool, dining, etc.) we're excellent.\n\nI had read in previous reviews how easy it was to get to NYC from this location. However, we had to take the free shuttle (which was great), a city bus, an air train, and a PATH train. Every day. Both ways. That averaged about 3 hours a day.
we went to hotel very late and staff are very nice to welcome us\n\neverything
Service was top notch! My flight got cancelled and I needed a place to stay close to the airport. They provided me with free toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. I Was late for the shuttle in the morning, the woman up front went out of her way to find me a ride!
The rooms were to small and they don't accomadate my reservation correctly. The pool was extremely small and was non-enjoyable.
Staff at check in and check out were efficient, pleasant\n\nThat I had to pay for myself and my guest for parking
Spacious room,\n\nThe parking rate.
stay for 8 hours. staff was very helpful. very bumpy and long road for an airport hotel
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Staff was friendly, shuttle to airport was very helpful\n\nThe ac would turn off during the day while we were out and when we got back it would be stuffy.
Everything was awesome
Location\n\nNo laundry facility, washer+dryer
Large Rooms\n\n$12 parking
nice and clean hotel\n\nno Restaurant around
The price was great. Location distance from the airport was good. Staff were very nice. Room was clean. fresh hot coffee at 5am.\n\nNo restaruant nearby other than another hotel bistro. Landlocked by Hwy's. Breakfast was soso. soda/water 2.50 in machine, 2.75 in hotel store.
Breakfast.\n\nStaff and location. I asked to have my room clean and the manager was very rude.
i didnt loke the location. But the hotel was very clean, breakfast was good, furniture and appliances was nice, internet has a good signal. shuttle bus took a long time to come back, they should have 24 hours.
location to NYC\n\nThe room was not clean. Areas had significant dust build up and one towel had blood stains on it. Will not recommend or ever stay there again.\n\nThey made me sign a statement when I checked in stating I will not have a party (really?) and they tried to bill my credit card a second time.
Ride to the hotel from the airport was longer than expected and road was very bumpy.Hotel was showing some signs of age but staff was very accomedating.
free shuttle bus to the airport. and great Breakfast.
Updated decor\n\nHard to find location\n\nGreat breakfast
It suck dontever want to stay in that hotel again was scratching all night\n\nwould never ever suggest this hotel to anyone scratched all night
Not thing stand out. Average hotel. Good for family but not for single traveler.
Location and proximity to the airport.\n\nNot at all
i didn't care for the breakfast. It wasn't even option far as fresh fruit
Breakfast, clean room, hallways, etc\n\nOld, old, old pullout bed. Parking charge! Entrance roads were horrible; deep ruts and holes....hard on my car and tires!
The room was able to host 5 guest comfortably for a really low price. Add to that they served a wonderful hot breakfast included in that price. Great beds too.\n\nThe amount of desk staff seemed inadequate to handle the number of guests. Most of the time there was a long wait to speak with someone. Rooms on the top floor get airport noise all night, so ask for a lower floor.\n\nClean and...
4 star
Good hotel, but the coffee...I've never thought I would review the COFFEE at a hotel, but this was the only thing that stuck out to comment about an otherwise good hotel not great! The room was big, clean and comfy. The coffee served in the lobby and at breakfast had me spitting out the first sip! At first I thought it was the tubs of creamer - it leaves an off taste and I could not finish...
The bed room lay-out\n\nPaying for parking and no restaurant and lounge in site. We had to drive to down town Newark
It was a very nice experience a litle far from the airport but is ok people very friendly thanks
The staff was nice\n\nThe shuttle bus was slow. Drivers should come into waiting area and make announcement .
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed.\n\nNo restaurant in the hotel.
I'm impressed. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that haven't added up. With 3 suitcases and an overnight bag and purse, I dropped my wallet and the girls at the front desk called to tell me just as i walked into the room. Rarely do you find such honesty.
Love this hotel very friendly and warm love the pool and the rooms are nice im coming back soon
Service and breakfast\n\nhard to find
Clean, nice staff, nice rooms.\n\nIndoor pool closed without notice for more than the entire stay. Watch out for the $12/night parking charge.
Free breakfast w/ enough and fairly decent hot meals and proteins, free fitness ceter and pool (even though I didn't get to use them); spacious room and friendly, professional staff. Free airport shuttle every half hr. Free checkin/boarding pass printing.\n\nNo waffles at the breakfast buffet. You don't get to do really much. They need your credit/debit card for the possible incidentals. 24/7...

Nice amount of space. Microwave and fridge are convenient. Work desk was nice. Shower pressure was excellent.\n\n2Mbps internet is terrible even when free. Bathroom and sink lights were dim. Thermostat did not work properly and put the air conditioning on even when auto was disabled (it was 33º outside). There was an air freshener smell I didn't care for.
the room was real nice..n clean...alot of space n room to stretch out n be comformable\n\neverything was good\n\neverything was good
Very nice airport hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Front desk staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.\n\nOnly downside to this hotel is that it is hard to find. It's surrounded by highways but only accessible from one of them.
The hotel was well maintained!\n\nI had to pay for parking which was not mentioned. I've never had to pay for parking at a hotel. It came to $29 for two cars. The breakfast was not good!
Front desk staff and staff in charge of breakfast especially pleasant and helpful.
Room quality, cleanliness\n\nThe staff was really accommodating to my requests. However, one of the staff I don't remember the name of the person could have been a little more polite.
The room size and breakfast.\n\nThe location is not close to any stores.
Good facility and great staff. Rooms were clean and well equipped\n\nthe location made getting in and out difficult. Paying for parking
Room was clean and comfortable\n\nDifficult to get to. No restaurants around the hotel. Had to get back on interstate and drive to find something to eat (this is after 8pm). Would like to cancel my reservation three weeks from now but will still be charged for the room. will not go back
Nice layout of the room almost like a little apartment, comfortable bed. Airport shuttle was on time for the most part. Breakfast pretty decent if you make it in time. We slept late so just got a dried bagel.\n\nMaybe they can store some sugar in the rooms along with the coffee and tea. No restaurants around the hotel but the front desk staff was helpful advising how to get delivery or in our...
everything was great the service, the rooms, the pool, the staff, an overall great experience\n\nI believe the parking should be included
Need a life guard on duty. Ask if there smoking or non area in hotel. Customer are the more person.
Location, availability of free transportation to /from the airport.\n\nLack of cleanliness in the breakfast area, noisy (mainly guests)
Hotel is great nice and clean great location\n\nthe room that I had was in the first floor and it had a bad smell in it. The pool can be better and more clean. if I choose another hotel to stay at it would only be because of the pool here..\n\ngood hotel the pool can be better and more clean
Loved the room\n\nNo it was much better than I expected\n\nLiked the fact that was so close to the airport
The breakfast\n\nMy last stay on February 21,2015,my t.v went out,it had no signal ,I told the manager about 3 times and she didn't do anything,so I had to sit in a room with no t.v until I fell asleep,it will be a pleasure if I had gotten compensated because of the it\n\nI stayed at the hotel a few time and like it except my last sat on February 21,2015
Hotel employee at the front desk was so lovely and helpful. We had a long day of travel and she was especially helpful even with getting food late at night! Adams Deli was great.\n\nOur room had a bad odor, like an old gym bag. I sprayed the room with disinfectant I brought because we were too tired to deal with moving. But either the carpeting or the upholstered furniture in the room smelled...
I liked that it is a family friendly hotel.\n\nThe location is out of the way and there is a lot of potholes, very deeps ones
Suite was really nice\n\nThe hot water did not work so I was unable to shower
Indoor pool\n\nThe fact that i had to pay extra to park my car was not a pleasant surprise.. I would've stayed elsewhere had I known I would have to pay an additional $12 for parking\n\nLoved the in-room coffee maker, but you might want to provide sugar & cream for 2
The hotel was well maintained, the service representatives were very friendly, you could tell it was a family accommodating environment and anything I need assistance with was taken care of immediately.\n\nNo complaints.
The hotel is a great value for the money! The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there is no restaurant and you have to either order in, take a shuttle to a restaurant closer by or walk (3min) to another Marriott facility. I certainly would go back!
Nice place. Decent breakfast. Amazing staff.... They were soooo helpful getting us what we needed and directing us where we needed to go! Especially Kiera at the front desk. She explained the...
Very nice place. Breakfast is good. I'll be back next time when I come to Newyork.
Very comfortable upscale accommodation for the moeny paid
The bed -- and the pillows! -- were so comfortable, I slept like I haven't slept in years. I thought my own bed was nice, but after staying here, I wanted to stay there forever. The room was nice and clean, as expected. My one and only complain was the sheer amount of time it took to get from the airport to the hotel via hotel shuttle. Way too long, though the driver was nice enough. But, I...
Surprisingly good -- swimming pool was an unexpected bonus. We stayed with 3 children and all slept comfortaby. Only unpleasant aspect was that they charge $10 plus tax for parking, which seems mean in such a car-centric place. It's also nearly impossible to get to if you're heading out of the airport, so use satnav or print a detailed map. The roads around there are spaghetti.
Clean and comfortable!
I stayed in this hotel with my parents for one night before catching an early morning flight. The room is very spacious and it was quiet at night. The shuttle service was punctual. I would recommend this hotel!
Overnight stay, with my daughters & granddaughter (5 total)... the accommodations are great and the hospitality is "Simply the Best". It makes me forget that I'm in the craziest cities in the world "New York/New Jersey"
Muy limpias las habitaciones y buen servicio
Clean. Comfortable, and extremely difficult to find especially at night with 3 teen boys in your car.

Brought a group of 28 here, while out touring for the day one of our group members had her wallet and cash stolen by housekeeping. How do we know it was them? The good for nothing house keeper left the master floor key in the bag she stole from.
On top of all of this one of our other rooms had blood all over the sheets and the rest of our rooms never received clean towels (possibly due to the...

Muy tranquilo y cómodo por su cercanía del Aerepuerto .
We stayed here because our daughter had a very early flight from Newark International. The location was great for getting to the airport--it was probably only 7 or 8 minutes to get to the terminal we needed. The room was very nice, and the staff was polite and helpful. They gave us menus for several local restaurants so we could order dinner to be delivered.
Most likely the best Hotel on the Newark strip..
Nice place very clean..there is not a restaurant in the building

I use this hotel and its sister property next door as a crash pad before early morning flights out of Newark. The rates are very competitive and it is easy to get to from the turnpike with plenty...

Love this hotel! My mom booked a room at this place at the last minute and got a really great deal here! We wanted to book a hotel in New York City, since we wanted to show our relatives the city...
I am very picky about where I stay, as I travel for business. It was very affordable and clean with a small touch of luxury.
The hotel is inbetween two highways which means there is literally nowhere to eat if you do not have a car (which is bad for an airport hotel!). The hotel advertises that the hotel shuttle will drive you to local restaurants, but in reality there is only one restaurant that will pick you up and its entrees are $25/30 a piece! The rooms are well worn and smell of mildew. The exercise machines...
Unexpectly charged for parkingGYM Does not have good equipment, not lift wightsPool in poor conditionsTub & sink a little be rusty
This hotel is just what you would expect, located close to the airport with a good rate. Nothing special, just what you need for a quick stay.
The hotel was very good with clean and spacious room. The complementary breakfast was awesome. 30 min drive to Manhattan! Very Good price
Went just for a night getaway. Booked a 1 king room, ended up with two. Still nice tho.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and it was fine for what we needed it for.
The Hotel was very clean and comfortable! The Hotel was kinda hard to locate like many reviewers describe but the GPS lead us to it from the airport with a u turn due to some construction. The staff was extremly nice and went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what my family (3 of us) needed. Will definately stay again when visiting. SOOO glad I chose this hotel by...
When you need a clean and comfortable room at EWR, this was a good value and a nice room.
Staff & facility were very good! Room was clean and quiet. Glad I have GPS or this hotel would be hard to get to easily. Only other negative was that all the coffee packs in the room were decaf??!! Great value close to the rental car drop off sights.
Courteous and helpful staff. Nice room. Excellent value for the price.
This hotel has to be one of the most difficult hotels to access. It is sign posted very poorly and I had to ask four different people how to find the access roads. I drove past the hotel 5 times trying to find how to find it off the Interstate. They need better signs!Hotel was nice once we got to it though.Joe Piasecki - Winnipeg, MB Canada
My friends and I went to a concert in the city of Newark, NJ and needed a place to stay for the night. When we arrived at the hotel, we entered in the rear because the front was under construction. It was very easy to check it with the hotel being under construction. When we got into our room which included 2 full beds and a pullout sofa we were blown away. The room had a great design and...
Difficult to get to but really good stay if you are on a budget, room is good size but breakfast is not good at all.
As a whole, this hotel was a great experience for the price. It was nice, clean, the staff was courteous, the breakfast buffett was good and the location was good but a bit difficult to find if using the GPS.
Wireless didn't work in room; internet connection in business center extremely slow - could not log into Marriot website. I wouldn't stay here if I was relying on having wi-fi in the room.Hotel under renovation so there is no lobby - enter through the side. Breakfast was fine, rooms are older but nicely decorated and clean.
The free shuttle from Newark Airport is about a 12 min drive from the P4 terminal air-train stop. The temporary entrance to the hotel is from the back. You walk in to a bank of elevators and a 'front desk' that resembles a taxi dispatcher stand. There is no lobby during this renovation. The room was ok, i would not call it a suite. it was a regular sized room with a half wall partitioning the...
The hotel got a good location, fraindly staff, pretty decent continental breakfast, shuttle to the airport every half un hour, both ways, good deal.
Great location especially if you want to be close to the airport, hotel has all the amenities you will need for a great price. Would stay again.
I was shocked to get such a nice room for less than $90 per night. The liked the modern decor of the room. It was perfect fro my weekend getaway.
Arriving in Newark on a late flight we were delighted to discover SpringHill Suites. Big, comfortable room, big free breakfast, and such fun listening to the multiple languages being spoken by the myriad of friendly guests. Only one night here but it was wonderful.
Everything was great with the Hotel and Staff. However, This location is very tricky to get to coming from the south.
I don't like having 1/2 of the bathroom in the room. There should be a door between the living area and the bathroom sink. I shared a room with someone and I don't like taking care of my personal needs in the company of others.
The hotel was a good value. It is close to the Newark airport.
it's an ok hotel, but it was a nightmare to get there, so be prepare to get lost. The hotel in general was o.k. The room was clean, and big enough. The complimentary breakfast was really good.
My stay was quick...in at 6pm and out at 7am the next morning. I chose this hotel because of the closeness to the airport and 25 minute driving distance to my next day destination. A little confusing circling around from the airport to get to the opposite side of the highway, but manageable. There was also traffic noise throughout the night due to the closeness to the highway. The staff was...
We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and had a relaxing stay. The free hotel shuttle was very regular and took us to the airport to commute to Manhattan. Overall had a good stay at this hotel. Breakfast was basic and the same selection was served each day. There is a small hotel shop, which has a limited selection, and there is no dinner facilities in or around the area. We had to travel to the...
The hotel was fine for a quick stay before an early flight out. The roads to get to the hotel are like a ball of spaghetti --- you can see the hotel, but getting there requires a GPS! Not the hotel fault, but even the parking lots between the three Marriott hotels (Courtyard, Fairfield and Spring Hill Suites) could be a LOT easier to drive around!!
Hotel is clean. Great breakfast. Just be prepared to wait for the shuttle from P4 to the hotel. It only leaves from the terminal on the quarter past and quarter to the hour. You can end up waiting quite a while for the shuttle and watch out for it, the markings are not clear. Also, the shuttle serves Marriot Courtyard too so don't miss the all green bus. Very short ride to the hotel. If there...
Nice, spacious room. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, gave us good advise and directions.
April 20, 2011 our family stayed the night at this hotel in room # 432. When we woke up in the morning my 9 year old had 57 bites on her body and my 6 year old had 40 bites. We immediately called the manager to come to the room. the manager did not come we were greeted by the housekeeping manager and the director of facilities. we flipped the mattress of one of the beds and there were at least...
