Checkin was a breeze, my room was perfect, the information available for attractions in the area was plentiful, and there was not a time that I walked through the lobby that the staff did not acknowledge me. Just returned home from another great stay at Nags Head Inn. The entire staff is the friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. As a young man I use to go to Myrtle Beach. As I got older, and had a family of my own I want to go to a more family friendly quiet beach. We tried Nags Head Inn a few years ago, and have been coming regular at least two times a year since then. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean rooms.

We stayed in ocean facing room for 5 nights in June. Weather was perfect, beach was great. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. It's in a good location, close to restaurants shops etc, but not too close, so it was quiet not noisy at night.

Our room had a broken air conditioner. We were changed to another room and then told we would have to move again once the air conditioning was fixed. The staff argued at first for us to remain in the room until the off site maintenance crew could come and fix it. Overall for the price we paid it was not worth it and we would never go back.
I have stayed a lot of places in my day, but the Nags Head Inn is the best. They have the greatest employees that any business would be grateful to have. Only stayed one night but would definitely go back for an extended stay. Right by the dunes with a fairly new deck over the dunes to the beach. We could overlook the surf from our 3rd floor room. All rooms have balconies & fridge. Front desk employees all pleasant. If not desiring a condo, this motel is great.

excellent stay. have stayed at Nags Head Inn several times in the past and staff and service is excellent. rooms are roomy and comfortable. Only downside is very minor - they've gone to the real small pillows in the room - 3 of them as comparted to 2 larger pillows. Very minor detail and nothing to detract from visit at all.

The AC made too much noise, the glass sliders keep getting stuck and was hard to open/close. The beach side is realy on the drive way and makes for lots of night time noise, hard to sleep with car lights. The pool was as hot a the sunia. The light switch when entering room did not work. The room was very clean, and the staf was always helpful.
The staff goes out of their way to make the check in and out process easy and they helped me with my bikcycle in the rain. Definitely staying again.

Positives: Location is the key since its on the beach. It has an indoor pool too overlooking the beach along with the hot tub. Negatives: 1. No laundry facility so that's a major setback since you would want to do laundry almost daily. 2. Only stair access to the beach which makes it very tough for someone having a wagon or a trolley to carry all the stuff.
The staff at this hotel was defenately the best. They treat their guests like royalty. They were very helpful with directions and recommendations. I will definately come back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone. I hope to return next year.
