These burgers are very good and fresh. I liked all the combinations you could create for a burger and having the choice of white or wheat bread. The fries are very good and fresh. The service was lacking as the manager was only to be seen halfway through our meal and it was the middle of dinner. A change in...

We've eaten here a couple of times before and decided to stop in for lunch, as their burgers are quite good. They weren't busy at the time, seemed to be slightly before the lunchtime rush. Placed our orders and sat down. Didn't have to wait too long for our food to be ready. Unfortunately, mine was not even close to...

Great dining experience even though they forgot our fries. I can't eat beef, so it is great that I can get the meal of my choice. I will visit again.

We found mooyah burger difficult to order and feel welcome. The food was just average. Maybe we went on the wrong day.

My daughter wanted to go here as we had been in the past and had a great experience. However on this particular evening we pulled in to park the manager and a staff member were outback smoking. As our order was being taken you could smell the smoke. We ordered and looked for a place to sit the dining room...

Went here based on a tip from a fellow burger aficianado. I wasn't disappointed. The wife and I both loved the burgers. Everything was fresh and the portions were very good -- especially on the fries. The location is convenient to downtown -- across the street from W&M and about two blocks from the shops next to Colonial Williamsburg We...

This restaurant is located across from the College of William and Mary and is a great place to take a family looking for burgers and fries that are a big cut above fast food.

We were looking for something different and local, and found this place in one of the local papers. It is hard to find. I agree with others that the staff is NOT initially helpfull in helping new customers. There are 'order' forms at the beginning of the line that need to be filled out for each order AND they literally...

Went with the family and had a very good experience. The fries were excellent and the burger was very good with lots of choices to customize the toppings. The kids liked their burgers and the atmosphere is relaxed with counter ordering.

I was greatly disappointed by the owner and the food was just OK. Five Guys is a much better value. My wife and I decided to try Mooyah because of coupons in a local travel brochure/map. We both had a separate coupon. I went up to order while my wife picked a table. I ordered first and the owner went...

Similar to a Five Guys, regular burgers with multiple toppings cooked to order. Fries were salty and hot. Close to Colonial Williamsburg and Williams and Marys College, young atmosphere and I'm sure extra busy during the weekdays and school hours.

First if you go here do know when entering the door there is a card to fill out that will tell the cashier what foods you would like to order. Trust me the staff will not tell you. They will though treat you like your an idiot for not knowing. Also be aware of the portions there quite small. Despite...

Nice option for burgers

It's a little hard to find this restaurant, as no sign was visible from Scotland Street. Upon entering, you fill out a ticket with your order. The menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs, fries, shakes and sodas. It's nice to have a choice of rolls or lettuce on which to put your burger. You also have a choice of...

Mango Tango

I ordered a Mango Tango Smoothie near closing and it was not good at all, it tasted more like orange juice and vanilla than anything and that was a weird mix. I will definitely return to try it again along with another smoothie. The service was great and really polite. Mooyah was definitely clean and relaxing.

Absolutely Terrible

Order was brought out incorrect. We returned our burgers because meat was not hot. New order meat was barely warm. French Fries were stub length. Meat tasted pre cooked. Shakes did not taste freshly made. Strawberry shake used strawberry syrup.

Fries and more fries

On Sunday morning we attended church at the Williamsburg Community Church. The pastor in his sermon said how good the fries were at Mooyah's. They are so good that you JUST want more and have a hard time to quit eating them. While going past the William and Mary College we spied the restaurant and since the pastor reccommended it...

not bad

If you want a quick bite this place may work for you, the downside is the waiting time and the Prices. If you want more veggies in your sandwich its going to be .75 extra for each topping. I really love their french fries.

Grease in my Stomach

I'm always on the lookout for new places to eat. I've heard some good things about this place so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Smalll burger on a whole wheat bun with lettuce, tomato, the special MOOYAH sauce, pickle, etc along with a side of fries. The burger was good but I wouldn't go...

Big, greasy burgers... if that's your thing, good

Mooyah is a lot like Five Guys, if you're familiar with that. Lots of beef, lots of grease, lots of toppings, lots of taste... if I weren't 57 I'd probably love this place. But I am, and I'm afraid eating here regularly would kill me. But I'd die with a smile on my face.

Not good -- too salty and burnt fries

In some ways this is a cheaper version of Five Guys...and I will give them credit without the heavy grease that comes with Five Guys. I got the big hamburger and fries. The meat in my hamburger was so salty that for hours I could not get rid of the salty taste in my mouth. The fries were more than...

Very Good Food

We stopped by here on a Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised! Our order took about 15-20 minutes and it was well worth the wait. Their fries are amazing. We got an order of regular and sweet potato. We got the double burger with a bunch of extras ( lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, onion straws & ketchup) and the...

Delicious food...Enjoyed our first visit

While on vacation we decided to try out Mooyah. The burgers were outstanding. The fries and the sweet potato fries were both excellent and they give you plenty of fries. For those that go to Jakes or FiveGuys this is comparable to both of them.

Delicious greasy food

The place advertises for burgers, fries and shakes and that's what you get. Fries were big 'n tasty and the burgers come piled high with whatever you want. I had a peanut butter cup shake and it was phenomenal (I'm on vacation, don't judge me!) This ain't gourmet food - it's just a burger joint. But if you want tasty...
