Moongate would have to be the best Chinese restaurants I've ever experienced dining at. I have been to Chinese restaurants all over the U.S. and this one is absolutely fabulous. There are items not listed on the menu that are wonderful such as Egg Foo Yung. The service is very good -- your water glass is always full and your pot of tea always hot. Highly recommended.

Thoughtful Chinese restaurant with a small restaurant, cozy feel. Nice attentive service. The service is prompt and accurate, I always feel Iwant to stay there longer. Nice menu with a few above average dishes.

House of Foong Lin replaces the Moon Gate Restaurant and Bar. It's owned by Fu Cheung, the owner of the former Foong-Lin restaurant that closed in 2012 in Bethesda.

According to Cheung, many of the menu’s dishes should be familiar to Foong-Lin fans, but House of Foong Lin also prepares dishes in several new cooking styles, including Szechuan and Hong Kong-style fare, Bethesda Patch reported.
