First of all this place is not the best in shape when you walk into. I was advised by one of my friends to go there. I have medium density hair so after looking around for 4 years I found Monica's salon and turned to be the best hair place around. She did a great job! The way they handle hair styling is different yet unique, Monica is very talented! Just beaware, she may get snippy quick.

I go once a week to get my hair done. I am natural but I dont wear my hair natural i like to wear it straight. Monica makes my hair feel so good. I am very particular about my hair but she does a great job.

I went to Monica's in hampton and I was disappointed and happy at the same time. The one thing that I liked was my color, but other than that I left the salon with bleach product on my face and the back of my shirt completely bleached. Also i didnt like how they didnt speak english at all. I understand its a dominican salon but if the majority of your clients are black it would be nice to say...

My hair is AwEsOmE!!! I am natural; I usually press my own hair but haven't been making any time to do so lately. So, I tried Monica's hair salon. I figured that if I went to the shop for a wash and dry I wouldn't get caught up doing other tasks instead. I just got my hair done at monica's. And I must say I love it very much. It's the best place in Hampton. I got a perm n a color rinse. I love getting my hair done there. I'm going 2 start taking my girls there 2. The service is real good. They are very professional, I don't plan on going anywhere else 2 get my hair done.

I bring my daughter here and the service was fast they did not leave her in the chair for hours at a time . Her hair turns out beautiful all the time. It is great to see how they work with corse hair and how long the perms stay in. I also receive color for them LOVE IT!!!!

I warn you to stay away from this salon. They are unprofessional and use techniques which are very damaging to natural or processed hair. I was brave and took a chance with this salon, the facilities were well below code and they burned portions of my hair out...stay away
