Help us make it rightTheir English is awful. But their food is great! Got to give them credit for holding up business in a dying waterside mall. Now all they need is to spruce up their English, and maybe work on their customer service, and they'll be good to go.
We lucked out when we found this place. The way it works is that you heap a bowl full of a selection of vegetables and meats, give it to the cook and before your eyes he heats up the food on a hot plate. You get rice and mongolian bread with this food. Two of us ate for $20 including...
Hidden behind Joe's Crab Shack, found this place. Very nice people, appears owner run. Food is fresh and flavorful. Where else can you pretend it's the '80's and eat mongolian bbq? Cheap cold beer too.

Food was great Tea was great also. Atmosphere ok would likely visit again hopefully :-).
In the first floor food court of the Norfolk Waterside mall is the non-descript Mongolian Express. As a San Francisco native, I know really good and cheap Chinese food where the atmosphere sometimes makes you wonder about Health Dept inspections.
For five bucks you get to load up on your selected ingredients of a dozen veggies, four meats, noodles, and...

Located at the Norfolk Waterside Mall, The Mongolian Express is a pleasant and cheap surprise in regards to food court cuisine. For just five books, you can load up a bowl filled with vegetables, fried rice, an assortment of Mongolian cooked meats and a choice of 8 different sauces.
