I'm a current employee there and I love coming in even when I don't work, the atmosphere, employees, and food is amazing! There are so many specials and opportunities to win cool prizes. Even before I got a job there, I was a regular! Best place for BBQ and fun in Norfolk! You won't regret your visit!

This place is right across the street from ODU and while it caters to the college crowd I was perfectly comfortable being there(disclaimer, I graduated decades ago). The music is good but not blasting. The service is friendly and attentive and the BBQ is OUTSTANDING!

In town for the weekend looking for a place to grab a beer and this was it. Skylar took care of us and she was awesome, answered all of our questions brought us our drinks our drinks quickly and properly. Would definitely go to this bar again.

Good barbecue and other quick eats for a fair price, a great scene with plenty of interesting happy hour specials throughout the week for having a few drinks, and friendly staff like Ashton & the "country night" girls make Mojo's an awesome spot just off ODU's campus. It's great to have a place like Mojos available!

Lisa was our server, and has been on several occasions. She never fails to provide incredibly awesome service, the only thing that compares to it are the Jell-O shots that come with it. Mojos provides an awesome environment, that keeps us coming back week after week!

Horrible service. I have gone here several times for lunch and have finally learned my lesson. HORRIBLE service, okay food, and often run out of menu items. In short, if you want to spend ALL afternoon trying to eat an okay lunch, come here. Better drink slow however, for you most likely will not get a refill.

I have read some of the other reviews and I don't understand why. My family and I had a wonderful experience, matter of fact the owner was our server and she was very likeable and sweet. My son never had fried oysters before and she had the cook make a couple to try for free. The portions were very large and I opted for a petite fillet and added grilled scallops, my husband had shrimp creole, and my son of course went for the fried oysters, everything was amazing. I ate at tanners creek and had a terrible experience!! First the service was terrible. The server and owner were very rude. They would not take the Restraunt (dot)com gift certificate that I had with me. They then added $10 extra to my bill for tip after I had signed the slip. I paid 18% in gratuaty, and they still wrote in $10 that I did not approve. AVOID THIS PLACE!! They are theifs, and the food was not good. It is the worst restraunt in Norfolk.
