Simple answer: Their stuffed pizza is the best pie in Hampton Roads. It's a "Chicago" style pizza, which has a thick crust, so native NYers may not love it as much as everyone else (lol). Friend from Illinois rated it the best pie he's purchased outside of Chicago.
It's simple, if you want the absolute best pie in the area, buy a Mancuso's Stuffed Pizza!

My husband and I ate there twice while we were staying at the Founder's Inn across the street. There are only a couple of tables, and it is more of a take out place, but the food was pretty good, and the price was decent.
The service is great and the pizza is exceptional. Don't sleep on it!!

My first experience was the last experience. I ordered over the phone after seeing their website and they gave me a time of 45 minutes. Excellent fresh pizza with homemade dough and a special sauce that is out of this world. Positively will return for another Mediterranean pizza.
I watched them make the pizza in the back. The manager made it from scratch, tossed it and when I sat down to eat-- it was the BEST! The crust and sauce was better than any place I had been.
