I ate the seafood platter here and when I received it, it was the size of an appetizer then there wasn't any seasoning. I was very disappointed to pay $32 for a dish I didn't enjoy!
I'm from Houston with some of the best seafood restaurants. There was absolutely no seasoning on the food and the portion size of seafood platter was ridiculously small for $32. Not a fan!

Excellent food. Had the fried seafood platter, mom ordered the flat iron steak. Everything was cooked perfectly & absolutely delicious, even down to the house made tarter sauce. Only complaint is that the music was a little on the loud side so we almost had to yell at each other across the table. Other than that, great food, great service, we will be back next time we come to the beach!
The food was great, the atmosphere was lively and superb, and the hostesses and wait staff were gorgeous! It was a wonderful experience.
The hostess was very nice and polite however we still down for over 10 minutes and no one even stop by to take a drink order. There were only three people sitting outside our party was one of the three. The waitress talk to the table just down from us for over two minutes got up and walked back inside. Ask for Sean as your server. He is fantastic. Perfect balance of attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Food was fantastic. But Sean made the evening perfect.

Stayed at the Ramada this weekend and Mahi Mah's turned into my "go to" place, especially during Happy Hour...Awesome food, drinks, and people. Thanks to bartenders Sami, Ed, and Steven for helping make my getaway fantastic!!! :-)
My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner after a long day of traveling on a Wednesday night. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was casual yet upscal and the food was so epically delicious that I would definitely come back!
Ask for Dylan, he was our waiter and he was awesome.

We stayed at the Ramada for a week and had high hopes for this place but the service was horrible and when brought to a managers attention I was informed the server in question was a certified trainer. What a disappointment.... With all of the fine places to spend money in Virginia Beach this place won't get anymore of mine!

Weather for a beach was not good today and my husband invites me to Mahi Mah’s restaurant for a sea food lunch. The place was not crowded, however looks like a host and a waitress were not happy with our appearance. I never had such rude and unfriendly welcome to any restaurant before. Mahi Mah's is a wonderful seafood restaurant -- I have been there several times in the past few years, and it has consistently had great food. I eat out a lot at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach and have eaten at Mahi Mah's onumerous times over several years. Their food (give it a 7) has been good and remains that way.
I used to recommend it to out of town visitors, and take clients and visitors there. I can no longer feel confident in having a good experience eating there.
Not because of the food, but because of poor service, (slow and even non-existant) - and after a conversation with the floor manager I am also of the opinion will not likely change in the customer's favor.
