The price was excellent. The room was clean and nicely maintained. The property was well maintained and well lit. Parking was close to the room and allowed easy and quick access to your room. The restrauant and bar has part if the facility an added benefit.

Smelled of stale cigarette smoke and urine. The appliances were broken and falling apart. The enamel on the sink was coming off & the carpet was dirty. We had to switch rooms once we got there because the first room smelled so badly. The second room we were moved to was nonsmoking but still reeked of cigarette smoke. The staff where not accomidating and did not tell me where anything was. There was one entrance off a busy highway. We had to make a huge u turn to get there. NO parking near front rooms. The staff was rude about getting supplies. The rooms weree clean enough but we were there 5 days and only had room service once. Other than a pool there were no amenities at all.
I booked thru priceline. I have asthma. I booked non smoking. They said I didn't. I lost $78.75 for less than 2 hrs in a room. I asked for a full refund from hotel and priceline and both rejected. The staff is very matter of fact and stringent bordering on rude and confrontational,but professional. The hotel is old and outdated . fixtures and furniture show years of wear and tear,but for a night or two you could do worse. It does give a kind of ,for lack of better words, project feel.

Room was clean and comfortable, hotel was short driving distance to both Bay and Ocean. Plenty of places to eat nearby. We stayed 2 nights for a mini beach vacation and to see The Dave Mathews Band at Farm Bureau Live. We will stay here again in the near future.

The room was well kept and relatively clean. The only negative thing was the gnats that we would see periodically around the room. Also the front desk staff were not clear in their responses when asked simple yes/no questions requesting clean towels. The hotel room was a bit surprising. There was no closet to put things in. I thought that was odd. The sheets were dirty and with hairs. They got us new sheets. We booked a king bed, they had overbooked the king bed rooms and put us in a double bed room. The internet did not work most of the time. Everything else was fine.

Overall, the hotel stay was nice. Unfortunately, our room was missing an iron and the ironing board was broken. The front desk staff did not have any extra irons available at that time, but were apologetic nonetheless.
The front desk reception is polite but cold. The pillows are tiny and worse than cushions. The bath room is very tiny. Every night, there were groups of people partying in the parking lot (back of a truck) or staircase. There seems to be long term rental residents as well.

There is no beach across the street from this hotel - it is at least 5 miles inland in any direction from the nearest beach, actually, so the closest quantity of water aside from the pool is the car wash across the street. This hotel sits on a large parcel with a lake in front and the hotel at the end of a long driveway. The lobby is nice with a nice breakfast room and an excellent full size workout facility which there is no charge.
