Help us make it rightOutstanding, awesome, stellar, amazing, beyond delicious. First visit on 9/22 - I just found my new favorite fine dining restaurant. Everything was top shelf, the wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, atmosphere was intimate. The rose, Champaign and card for our wedding anniversary were a very nice touch. I’d give six stars if I could.
What a great meal. Good atmosphere, good service, great cocktails. All the entrees on our table were delicious, will definitely be visiting again.
What a wonderful dinner. Having the chef come and visit the table is always a nice touch. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere romantic and the service was excellent. This was well worth it. I will most definately return.
The restuarant is closed. I guess that they walked out with some good money for the gift certificates that they sold.
This is an amazing restaurant on all counts. The staff couldn't be more attentive. The food is beyond description and the atmosphere is to d...
Nice restaurant with a good menu selection. Wait staff was accommodating and helpful. Portion sizes could be a little larger.
Tucked back int eh corner of an assuming multi-use building the Lucky Star is a comfortable destination. Great for lunch or dinner and the casual pizza joint next door (I think they are the same deal, because...
I am actaully surprised that this is still around b/c its upperscale dining doesn't lend itself well to a strip mall. Service is good and so is the food.
A great place for a date - quiet and small - good food and nice service. One of the best crabcakes you'll ever have.
Dinner, lunch, or even a casual "joint" next door the food and service is fine. On crabcakes, the Virginian Pilot had them tied with Surf Rider. After a diligent sampling I go with Surf Rider. There is...
My husband and I are new to the area (but are total foodies- having dined in excellent restaurants all over the world)... we found Lucky Star by chance and LOVED it. I had the scallops with goat cheese ravioli while my husband had the rockfish. Both were wonderful. The desserts were nice. However, I wish we had gone with the crepes (19 layers with creme filling) rather than the typical brownie with ice cream. The cappuccinos we had with dessert were better than the dessert itself. We will definitely be back!

A quaint, cozy little restaurant with soft earthy lighting that would relax the most
Twice I've been subjected to less than adequate service at this establishment. The first time halfway through our meal the wait staff forgot we were there, when a large party came in. The second time, we were with a large party and two persons were still waiting for their main course when everyone else had finished theirs. This wouldn't be so pathetic, if it didn't consist of a glorified hamburger steak.
The food is devine never needing extras to taste great. The staff is friendly and on top of the service. They have a great selection of wine and the prices are very reasonable. the atmosphere is cosy yet open. Ypu can't go wrong with them.
New Chef, Great Food, good service will visit again!
