Just had another amazing meal at L'Opossum. This place hits all the right notes... the food is amazing, the vibe is casual, the servers are knowledgeable and genuinely seem like they want you to have great time. L'Opossum is one of my favorites restaurants in the country and I make a point to eat there whenever I am in Richmond.

L'Opossum continues to be my favorite restaurant in Richmond. There are so many parts to each dish that it becomes fun to try each component separately and then paired with the other ingredients. The restaurant feels like you're in an underwater bar with the eclectic decorations. It's a fun atmosphere.

I celebrated my 30Th birthday and was incredibly impressed with the food and the server was very careful with what was in the food because I have food allergies. The chef's choices on each dish made the food so different and memorable. I am totally going back. The only down side is the music was a little loud and they didn't have Jameson.

Went there for our anniversary and waited 2 months. So worth the wait! I really missed Chef Shannon's grilled Cesar salad from his days at Helen's. My teenage boys got the baked oysters and loved every bite. My Darth Grouper was amazing. The filets had some addictive sauce I couldn't replicate if I tried.
