Help us make it rightLoved the setting in the wooded area above the Lake. Food was delicious, service was wonderful, and we did not feel rushed.
We had a very elegant meal here. We ordered the duck and the haddock. Everything was fresh and served elegantly. We also had wine that was a good pour. Not a stingy pour.
Service was so slow tonight we left.
First off, I work between Boston and NYC and entertain for business all the time - for 25 years where I am used to expensive restaurant prices. For New Hampshire, this takes the cake - even the best restaurant within 30 miles (O's in Laconia) is much lower priced - AND they have...
Wonderful server that allowed our late arrival order the moment she arrived so that all our meals were served at the same time! Very thoughtful and responsive to our needs. Great food and a warm and inviting setting! Thanks to the staff and management!
This is a steakhouse that gets the steak part right. The "petite" portion of prime rib perfectly rare was man sized with lots to spare. A special request for a skinny margarita not on the cocktail list was well executed. The server was friendly and on a busy Friday the time of meal service was acceptable. The duck with a...
It is really too bad that a bad experience makes you want to comment because we have had so many good experiences here. We have eaten here 12 times this summer. Tonight we called for a reservation and got no call back. Should have been a warning sign. So we called again. We showed up about 10 minutes early and...
Huge and tasty portions, huge and good tasting desserts, nice views of lake, service a little spotty.

We were seated after a reasonable wait for a Friday night. We had a lovely table, outside as requested, and...
We live in the Lake Sunapee area and don't usually get over to the I-93 corridor during the summer vacation high-season because of the crowds. If we do go, it is during the week to avoid the really busy nights.
On this occasion we took a Tuesday night ride in our convertible with no particular plan on where to go;...
The food was exquisite as we sat outside overlooking Newfound Lake from above the tree tops. The menu had something for everyone. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The steaks and prime rib were out of this world. It was a bit expensive but worth every cent. Can't wait to go back.
