The Cafe is an outstanding place for lunch. I have never had anything but amazing food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Be very careful though if you go once you want to keep going. The mango chutney chicken salad is divine. I give the highest recommendation.

The food is to die for. The waitresses are very sweet. As many other reviews say, manager is very rude.

Amazing food, I've never been disappointed. The owner is not always friendly and doesn't seem to know how to run a business (is sometimes closed without notice or apology), but the food and service are so good they make up for it. For best seating, don't go between 12 and 2, those are the busiest hours. The gift shop is also adorable (and everyone who works there is very nice).

Two of my friends and I had lunch here yesterday. We each really enjoyed our meal. We each had a half sandwich and salad. None of us were eating bread, potato salad or cheese so I can't comment on the bread or potato salad but I did hear someone at another table rave about the bread. I had a scoop...

Let's just say that this is not my cup of tea. Apparently, though, a lot of people like it. It was packed, and I mean elbow to elbow. (And that means loud, too.) The service was good considering the numbers involved - both being waited on and being served. The adult food was okay though I am not at all...

Loved the bakery next doors snickerdoodles , the hunters burger was really good my husband didn't care much for his burrito but it was a nice place kind of like eating on the patio at grandma's it's very small but quaint gourmet type regular eats! Thanks for the great service and good food.

The food is really good, with a lot of options to choose from. The patio is very nice to sit on. My family and I especially love the outdoor area behind the restaurant with the chickens. My 3 year old gets so excited to see them.

We saw the segment on Diners, Drive-ins,and Dives and trip advisor reviews. It was better than expected. Very good unique cocktails to start, interesting flavor combinations in chicken salad sandwich and turkey/ surry ham sandwich. Very friendly service. Inexpensive for the quality.

This is my favorite weekend brunch place! Laura is my favorite server! Quaint decor; exceptional food. I feel like I'm in the country when I'm here yet I'm in the biggest city in the Commonwealth! They serve the best crab cakes I've ever eaten!

Great atmosphere, food and great portions. Small but quaint, get there early as they fill up fast. Everything is made to order and they grow most if not all of their vegetables as well as herbs that they use. There is also a great bakery next door that is worth wandering into while you wait to be seated. You will...

The outdoor seating is very nice. They are always nice and very friendly. We went for a late breakfast, early lunch... I got the breakfast wrap and it was phenomenal. I also got the mojito (which took a little bit to get because they were really busy).. It came in a mason jar with a lot of mint, and was...

My husband and I loved this spot. It's secluded and laid back. Our food was wonderful. The waitstaff was friendly. The prices were reasonable considering how healthy and organic the meals were. We will be returning! :)

I really loved this place, I don't really like to repeat places but I came here twice during our stay! The first day I ordered the half sandwich of fresh turkey, ham and provolone with sun dried tomato pesto with potato salad and a salad...it had some amazing pesto vinaigrette. My boyfriend decided to take me here (one of our first dating outings).I fell in love with the restaurant! With limited seating inside, we were seated at one of the outside tables.I usually don't like eating outside (I hate swatting at flies while I eat), but I enjoyed the food and the experience. The staff was also very nice. It's definitely a place I plan to go back to.

Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and HAD to try it. The food was good, but kind of ordinary. I had the chicken salad sandwich. It was made with curried yogurt and a peach chutney, which made an interesting combination. The sweet potato biscuit with ham and peach jam was ok, but had …

The service was great! I never felt as if I was being overlooked even when the crowd was heavy. The food is good too. Their chicken salad sandwich is very good! I will definitely spread the word!

Too Good For Words!. My boyfriend and I are new to the Hampton Roads area and have been scouting for amazing places to eat since before we moved here. We just so happen to be in the Leaping Lizard Cafe area so we decided to check it out.

Lives up to the hype. My wife and I went here on our honeymoon trip to Virginia Beach. We are big fans of Diners, Drive-In's and Dives, and the episode featuring The Leaping Lizard is actually the one that made us want to spend our honeymoon in the area. Us being from Kentucky, we hadn't actually eaten at any of the restaurants featured on Triple D, so we were very excited to get to eat here....

FROM AN EPISODE OF DINERS, DRIVE - INS AND DIVES. I saw this restaurant featured on a Food Network show and made a note of it for when we were back in the Virginia Beach area. I'm glad I did. My son in law had the quinoa salad and the grandkids...

Amazing!. We went for lunch last week. Quite busy, but we were greeted & seated promptly outside. We had a very friendly server & the menu looked great! I tried the Quinoa Salad, and my mom had the Fish (I think it was grouper). It was absolutely amazing!!! We'd been here before but it was years ago. We will certainly return
