Pictures on your site of interior of hotel was not at all what hotel looked like. What a shock! Strong smell. When we arrived could not find our reservation told me maybe I had wrong hotel. The worst motel ever...It was extremely dirty, there was a alot if illegal activity outside. It smelled like smoke everywhere...The name is deceiving because there isn't a suite in the motel. I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies to take a shower. NEVER AGAIN.
We stayed here to add an extra day to our Williamsburg vacation and most of the reasonably prices rooms sold out closer to the atttractions. There was a lot of illegal activity going on at the hotel. We even saw some guests (or tenants) barbecuing in the parking lot and selling who knows what out of their trunk. We had two small children with us and almost left in the middle of the night...
We needed a place for a cheap stay in Hampton for one night. We pulled in and there were people everywhere. Grilling, throwing footballs around, wondering around past rooms. Nice hotel, close to eating places and grocery stores. Convient to I-64 for traveling different places. Staff was pretty friendly, housekeeping kept shorting us one towel several times. Other than that hotel was nice.

After arriving the building was nothing like the picture. We had to switch rooms because there was no air condition. Then we had to have the linen changed. We went and brought our own towels. The stay was okay, I guess. If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place. The ring around the tub was creepy and there were other unwanted individuals roaming around after the sun goes down (zooming) however, we made the best of it for $60 per night.

The room was sufficient for its purpose but it wasn't very clean. The carpet was way past due shampooing. I had a "Nonsmoking" room that smelled of smoke. There were barely any linens and even after "servicing/cleaning" during my stay, they only left one hand towel and one washrag. I won't book another room here. I suggest if you need to book here bring your own linens and cleaning supplies....

The room's overall cleanliness was good but the bath area walls and doors had very visible dirt and fingerprints. Also, if the rooms are ever updated, a room microwave and small refrigerator would be very nice.
Overall the hotel was adequate, but the carpet was sticky. There were sticky spots in several different areas, and each area looked like it was a different spill/stain. Aside from that, it was pretty much what you expect when you pay this rate.

The staff was very friendly but they can only do so much for the hotel. It requires some maintenance. Be aware that if you are allergic to pets this hotel is not the best option for you! Do not go for the back end rooms because they aren't used often for which you will find are not the cleanness ones. Also don't go for the front ones because are the noisiest and are the ones used the most.....
There were young teenagers party down the hallway from us which was loud. Also the room was extremely small but other than those two things it was very clean and the beds sleep comfortable.

The LaQuinta Hotel looked good from the outside. The first room I was assigned to did not have lights inn the bathroom. Unfortunately they did not have a maintenance person to change the light bulb, so they gave me another room. The second room did not have telephone.
