Great food, poor service.. This is bread the way it should be. Food is excellent, service could be better.

Food is good but over priced. The scones are great. I had the egg and cheese on a bun. Not very good. Husband had egg, spinach and goat cheese. He loved it. My son had the granola, yogurt and fruit. Yogurt is good. Granola was stale.

By far the best breakfast you'll have in Cary. Amazing breads, croque madame with spinach and the feature latte is always a great choice.

It's a nice little place, trendy, but quite overpriced.

Great baked goods. My wife and I tried a couple scones, some sweets, and some bread. Everything we had was good. My wife loved the chipotle pimento cheese they had as a sample and we instantly bought some to take home with us.

Sublime, crowded and a little pricey

Sublime, crowded and a little pricey but Oh la la. The real deal right in the middle of a Cary, NC strip mall. My favorite breakfast place in The Triangle (besides my own kitchen).

Fantastic bakery with a lot of local offerings and genuine service. It's hard to not leave happy from here.

The floor here is treacherously slippery, but the food is worth any potential loss of limb or dignity.

I'm dying to go back and try their cafe menu, especially their PROSCUITTO ASPARAGUS TARTINE, which was featured in Food and Wine magazine but I did buy a French macaron, Belgian brownie and Chocolate Layer Cake.

J'laime ""La Farm"" Bakeery

I frequented La Farm Bakery when I was living in Morrisville and Apex. Lovely bread, gorgeous pastries, excellent coffee (I hope they have ""Cafe Creme"" now), and ordered the ""healthy"" breakfast almost every weekend: Yogurt, granola with a side of fruit. Yum, yum. Lived in Paris from late Oct 2010 until early Oct 2011 so I'm looking forward to be a ""fresh"" customer at La Farm. I took two classes at La Farm with Lionel . . . he's an excellent teacher, knows what's he doing and has a great sense of humor. Lionel, watch out, I'm coming back to Cary! A Broad in Paris (Sharon)

I went in a few days ago to buy some bread and get a quick bite for lunch. The bread is great - no argument there - but the lunch was a disaster. I ordered the hummus and vegetable sandwich, since I really like hummus and I wanted something light. Well. What I received was a single slice of bread (good bread, of course) cut on the diagonal into two pieces. One piece had a very, very thin smear of hummus spread on it - thick enough to see, but not enough to taste. The other slice was bare. In between the slices were fresh veggies. The veggies were fine, but if all I wanted was a...

I love the breads ( Ciabatta, Asiago Parmesan, multigrain, Challah) and their desserts ( coffee cakes and tarts) and granola. I do not like their pain au chocolat ( Chocolate croissants) or the regular croissants ( they never seem to be fresh). This place really does have the best French food in the area. Scones are wonderful as well as the ham and gruyere sandwich, stuffed baguettes, coffee-I could go on. For those looking for ""cheap"" food-you are obviously in the wrong area! A SPECIALTY store in CARY is not going to be around the Wal-Mart price range-you pay for QUALITY. Rude and Extremely Overpriced

Average Rating

The bakers and employs are some of the most rude people I have come across in a customer-service oriented business. They stare you down when you sample something . And, if you do not find it to your liking or, more times than not, cannot afford it at their outrageous prices, the looks they give you are downright obnoxious! I presume that the bakery was opened for the pleasures of the Preston residents only. Also, God forbid if you bring children into the shop, every employee has their eye on you! Whole Foods a few blocks down the road has much better service at much better prices.

I admitt La Farm Bakery's products have good quality and I used to love them. However I started to be disappointed since they keep increasing the prices....actually they are getting more and more expensive almost everytime I visit. Now they charge more than $4 for a loaf of regular white bread! I don't feel like supporting their business any more. You can get decent bread with decent price at The Fresh Market which is located only a couple blocks away. Panera Bread sells pretty good french baguettes too.
