Efficient, friendly, and informative. I have not been in the dentist's chair in several years and decided to visit to attend to neglected problems. The doctors, technicians, and staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Christie and the Dr were incredible the way they treated me and the way they worked together. It was like they read each other's mind which made them extremely efficient. Christie is a real hoot and had me laughing the entire time. I've been going to Konikoff dentistry for over 30 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Another great visit! Alyssa did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Tam provided great feedback as well with regards to my dental care. I actually look forward to coming in and getting my teeth cleaned every six months.
The hygienist who did my cleaning seemed to be inexperienced. It was painful. She seemed to be digging into my gums, and when she applied a treatment for sensitive teeth she said she had never actually done it before but it was easy. That didn't inspire much confidence in her abilities.

My son broke his tooth on Thursday evening his regular dental office we'd been going to for 10 years or more couldn't accommodate him Friday nor Monday. So after several attempts even with any doctor in the practice was a no go I decided to call Konikoff and was able to get him in the same day!

I would like to recommend it that if a patient waits for a filling forty minutes after being numbed, you should let the patient know what's going on. I had a great assistant get me set up and then I was left alone wondering what was happening for 40 minutes. I enjoyed my experience with the dental hygienist, I forgot her name but it was very nice chatting with her (when I could talk, haha). Both the hygienist and Dr. Newman were very pleasant and thorough explaining what needs to be done. They were also helpful answering my questions and eased my concerns. It was an amazing experience.

Its always hard going to the dentist because they take those metal hooks to clean your teeth. I think 50 to a 100 years from now they will look back on this like bleeding a person in the 1700's. Its painful and you are gagging for breath as they are having a conversation about the weather.

I have been using Konikoff for quite some time with absolutely no complaints. The doctors have done everything imaginable for my dental health; from implants to crowns to routine cleanings. I also believe they intentionally screw up dental work in order to get more money out of you. I have talked to other patients as well that have had this experience.
I have had 2 root canals that both started as crowns. One they messed up so badly that I had to go to a specialist to get fixed.

I went to them in an emergency situation. I had a tooth that had decayed under a gold crown. They took off the gold crown (I asked for it back). I asked for it again and was told it was thrown away!
Not only was the visit extremly expensive, but I could not any money back that I had put into that gold crown!
