I love Kobukan, it is family friendly and our instructor takes us step through step through forms,techniques,etc. I highly approve of Kobukan Martial Arts.
My son Malachi,7, has been attending the kobukan martial arts class for over two years. He is a child who carries the label autistic spectrum ,but at kobukan he never feels like he is different. He has expectations and goals to meet and Mr Ron works with him and develops those goals at his speed and his level. Malachi has learned to follow the rules of the dojo and respects them. Its a great relief to walk in and know that today my child will expereince a sense of self worth when leaving class having completed a new move or even a new stripe on his belt. He hold pride in his trophies he has won in competions, two first place. I love this place and the way it allows us to feel like part of a group. I travel almost 30 minutes two times a week to get my child there and pass several martial arts studios on the way there but wouldn't choose anyone but Mr Ron to be my childs karate instructor. No one teaches as well as Master Ron. I am proud to be a supporter of his and the KoBuKan. I highly recommend this school and this instructor. This is definitely one of the best if not the best on the mid-east coast.

I started Jiu Jitsu at Kobukan in January 2012. My wife and daughter have been karate students of Mr. Ron for a Long while now and I have always wanted to get involved in some way. Absolutely love the family atmosphere and the care everyone shows for each other! Does very well with all kinds of backgrounds, very adaptive, very family friendly. I'd never consider another dojo!
It's a very satisfying feeling seeing how much my daughter looks forward to going to classes each day. Kobukan is such a family oriented dojo with multiple class schedules and variety of different types to choose from. Not to add, the flexibility to change from one class to another anytime is simply awesome!!!
