Kilmarlic Golf Club offers a memorable golf experience unlike any other on the Outer Banks. Consistently kept in tournament ...playing condition, Kilmarlic was chosen to host the North Carolina Open in both 2004 and 2009. Recently named as a Top 100 Course You Can Play in North Carolina by Golf Styles Magazine, Kilmarlic Golf Club is a must play while on your Outer Banks vacation. To reserve a...
Kilmarlic was certainly one of the best golf experiences I've had in a while. The pro shop employees were very friendly and were very accommodating to changing our tee time. The practice area was in great shape and even had music playing while you were warming up. The course was phenomenal. It was a great challenge that forced you to hit driver on some holes, while others made you think about...
80 degrees in February is hard to beat and when you spend part of your day on a course like this it just doesn't get much better. Even though the Bermuda is dormant you still get great lies and the greens are in great shape. I will return here many more times and I recommend it for anyone who enjoys the game.
Played this for the first time this year, family vacations always in the OBX and have played all the ones on the beach but had not tried any before coming across the bridge. It was well worth the extra few minutes of driving and probably my favorite course in the area. Excellent course conditions, a little short if you are a long hitter (all par 5s are reachable in 2 with decent drives) but I...
Enjoyed the challenge at Kilmarlic. There are some really interesting holes at this course, set on the sound nearing the Outer Banks. We traveled back to the mainland to play and we were not disappointed. The course was in great shape, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I would recommend playing this course if you are in the area.

Amazing golf experience! The course was beautiful and the golf boards were the most fun I've had ever on the course.

Course was in excellent condition. The staff was friendly but in a forced and robotic way. Good practice facilities. The layout was a little too Mickey Mouse for me but land constraints likely contributed to said design flaws. It was strange to play a par-3 that was longer than one of the par-4's. There is no course on the OBX that is worth a $100+ green fee (including The Currituck Club) and...
Simply the best course on the outer banks. Great people good times⛳️

The course is in excellent shape and the people are so nice. I even got a putting tip from the Pro which helped greatly. I played twice and thoroughly enjoyed both rounds.
4 couples played here after a day at Currituck on the OBX. It was an enjoyable round but take note of three things - 1st, choose your tees carefully and don't just go by the yardage - 2nd, know that quite a few holes are cart path only (curbs prevent you from getting to the fairway to get your ball) - and 3rd, be aware that some of the sight lines on the holes can mess with your mind. You...
This course is challenging enough to keep you thinking about each shot but wont make you loose a dozen balls. Bunkers and water is strategically placed guarding landing areas and greens. The course is well maintained and about average price for a round at the beach- we paid $99 for a 7:30am tee time. We will play here again.
Our foursome was very pleased with the condition of the course. The drink and snack cart came around often as did the Marshall. The course was well maintained and well worth the cost to play there.
the whites are short so play the backs if possible even if they try to push you forward if you are decent. everything about this place was great from the bloody mary to beautiful course. $99 for the round which is normal and worth it here.

This is an excellent, though expensive, choice for golf on the Outer Banks.

Nice place to play. Moderate difficulty. If you're down in the OBX it's a must play.

Played 3 courses on my weeks vacation in the outer banks and if i would have known how they compared to kilmarlic i would have played all three rounds here! Loved the course!!!
Great experience here, from the staff, the course itself, and the grill. As a VA 'local' that plays courses at the OBX, this was my first Kilmarlic experience, but it won't be the last. I played horribly, but that was me. Not that the course is easy by any means. It is visually stunning, as the practice area, fairways, greens,...

Have played Kilmarlic many times over the years both on vacation in August and in the Spring during my annual Manly Man Golf Trip. We always make sure Kilmarlic is on our play list because, there are not many great courses in the area, it has a great practice facility, is a fun course, the staff always treats us great,...
My senior golf group has been coming here for quite a while. This is my second visit. The people at the course are friendly and helpful. the course was in perfect condition, just slightly wet in spots. (It has been wet in the OBX/Virginia Beach area all year so no surprise there). The layout is woodland with some marshland and...
Enjoyed a nice round. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Recommend playing the up tees because at 6000 yds this course has a 134 slope and is very challenging.
Expensive but worthy of play. In great shape, well run and fair from all tees. We look forward to playing here each year
Played here many times during vacation in August. Great staff, very efficient, good course. Clean and very nice facility/bathrooms. Good bar and resteraunt area. Nice patio. Beverage and food cart comes around every so often. Being plenty of balls and enjoy the natural wildlife along the way; deer, turtles, dragonflies, egrets, frogs & squirrels.
