We visited on a Friday evening, which is a busy time for every place in Chesapeake. After waiting we got a table . The waitress was young and inexperienced but cheery. The crab corn soup was very good but the crab cakes were the worst I have ever had!! So bad that I won't give this place a second try.
They served some awesome appetizers for a booked wedding. Shrimp kabobs were perfectly spiced. Jalapeno chicken was not hot but just tasty. Oyster Rockafella was great but just needed a splash of hot sauce to make it terrific. The filet was terrific even if served just medium rare.
It's so nice to have a local dining option in Chesapeake that has excellent food and ambience. I've never been disappointed with any entree! The chef and staff are very personable and go out of their way to make your dining experience pleasant and memorable. It's a great restaurant for a ladies' night out, book club, or special occasion.

I have seen several restaurants go in and out of this location and am happy to have a place that is doing so well. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious. There is a wide variety of selections so a perfect place for a large party but quaint enough for a romantic dinner.

Everything about Julieanns At The Lochs is teriffic! Great food, friendly staff, nice decor.
