Help us make it rightThe Jack Quinn management and staff would like to introduce and welcome you to ", Norfolk's Home of Irish Hospitality", . Thank you Jack Quinn for becoming Downtown Norfolk's "Home of The Weekend Brunch" - offering Brunch EVERY Saturday & Sunday starting @ 11am. Your made from scratch brunch featuring signatures like The Reuben Pot-Pie and Guinness Battered Fish n' Chips makes my taste-bud's happy. The Bloodymary bar is a winner & your extensive brew selection any Irish Pub should be proud of.
I recommend a pop in to Jack Quinn's with friends and family for an urban brunch even a New Yorker will love!

Even under new management that can't get St. Patrick's Day right. Guinness excellent but for some reason they felt compelled to serve some drek colored green. An Irish Bar would not ever serve such a thing but then per the above they call themselves an IRASH [sic] bar. What an IRASH [sic] Bar does is have music so loud you can't hear it (which might have been the plan) jammed into the middle so there is no place to hide and in a genre that would be better for some cajun festival than St. Patricks Day. Maybe next year they can have St. Patrick's Day until around eight and then we will give way to those who want an IRASH bar.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Norfolk. I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is grand, the food is great, and the drinks are very good. Eat downstairs if you want to fully enjoy the ambiance.
This place is good if you are looking for a club, and disappointing if it is dinner you are after. The food is passible at best. Get a table upstairs to avoid the smoke.
Always a nice stop on Granby street, but never for a late night snack. Tonight the musical entertainment was top notch, the Bartenders rocked and while drinks are pricey ($13 for two Jager & Cokes) I have never been able to get food or drinks from upstairs. Not once in 45 min did the waitress even ask if we needed anything until her manager sent her over, but we were leaving at that point.
Good food, good drink and a good time. We stop by here for a little after work ""board meeting"" and in the evening when we're out and about. Always a good time!
Waited for and had a terrible lunch here yesterday. There was only one other table with patrons and my fiance waited over an hour. When we were finally served, the "classic reuben" was practically empty and lacked 1000 island dressing. The "crock of onion soup" was a clear colorless broth with absolutely no taste....sent back! And the $8 "classic ceasar salad" which arrived more than a half an...
Gross! While the service was rather impressive, the food was really really gross. I am not a picky eater but I actually could not eat my dinner. I ordered corned beef and cabbage. The meat was so…
Decent place. We dined upstairs in the loft area because it was much quieter than the downstairs. All of the dinner entrees were delicious. The service was okay.. much like what you would expect from…
Went to Jack Quinn's for the first time a couple of weekends ago and have to admit: I had a really good time. I really like the set-up of the restaurant, the interior is warm and inviting and has that…
I was in town on business and just wanted a light meal and a drink on a cold night. This place seemed to fit the bill. Truth be told however, the wine by the glass was kinda stale - but I should…
Good selection of beer on tap. Nice atmosphere. Food has declined significantly since my last visit, a few years ago. Ribeye steak was fairly tender but dry - not sure how you make a ribeye dry -…
The Staff at Jack Quinns is great! The manager and the server were both very attentive to our table. The location is in downtown Norfolk, and the interior of the building is very cozy. I love the old wood feeling of the place. The food was your traditional Irish fare, but I did notice they do cheaper daily lunch specials, so I'll have to go back and try it. Overall, a great place for a casual...
so the folks and i went to Jack Quinn's for lunch and well... after waiting 10 minutes just for the server to come by our table, you know to bring menus and maybe a glass of water, we left!we never…
This is a pretty standard Irish pub, nothing really unique or surprising here. They have a respectable collection of beers on tap, which any good bar enthusiast should appreciate. The food selection…
I've seen Jack Quinn's open and close a bunch of times, often changing ownership along the way. Various things have caused this--at times the commercial geography has changed and Granby street between…
This place is not a pub. It's more of another crappy bar on Granby. If you're going call yourself a pub, at least play Irish music or have a traditional Irish band on the weekends, not some crappy…
Fabulous Shepherd's Pie and the chocolate chip bread pudding (with whiskey hard sauce) is worth breaking the diet for. The best comfort food in Norfolk:)
Terrible excuse for an Irish bar. Waited way too long to get a poorly poured Guinness. Rude waitstaff and management. Not the same as it used to be. Better off going to Mo and O'Malley's.
I love this place. I come here alot. And they have great Guinness and Killian's on tap. Whoopiee!
I'm not usually an Irish Pub fan but I've attended several group events at this establishment and I thouroughly enjoy the atmosphere. There are multiple accomodations for group events. They have a tasty menu, reasonably priced, and an…
