Their coffee machine was broken and I'm a HUGE coffee drinker. So I was sad ab that however my waitress Brandy was very nice and helpful so I settled for hot tea instead.

I don't like this iHop location. It's very small and the service is super slow. I won't be coming to this one again.

My wonderful girlfriend and I had brunch here and truly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was lively and friendly. Especially Reeka (I think that's what her name tag said. Lol) Our waitress was Fatima and she was awesome. Super friendly without being fake and super efficient. I got the Tuscan scrambler and it was …

TERRIBLE! My husband and I went into this extremely messy restaurant, with rude staff, we were sat at a slightly dirty table. After 10 minutes of nobody taking our drink order, we got up and left, with not one staff member saying anything to us on our way out. Will not return.

Being military I've lived all over Hampton roads and this Ihop is the absolute WORST. Food is almost always wrong and cold, fries were soggy and soaked in grease this last time, and it smells in there. Our server was nice but it looked like he hadn't brushed his teeth in a week- the tarter/plaque buildup on his …

This is one place I Will not go back to. Customers at this restaurant are a bunch of low life's. People ordering food here and then not paying. Customers children not behaving, management not...

This IHOP is absolutely disgusting! Dirty is an understatement. This place was probably built in 1954 because the decor is terrible. The place is only built to seat about 25 people and if you get...

We started coming here years ago when our son attended Hampton University. We have a few favorite restaurants in Tidewater and this is one of them for breakfast. We arrived late on a Sunday morning, and it was crowded. After about a 15 minute wait, we were seated. We waited and waited and finally got our food but it was...

6/15 Waited for 20 min but sat us with another couple just to serve my husband and I. Waitress unpleasant. No greet. Offered cold coffee. No silverware. Had to ask for it. Atmosphere appeared to be dirty. Ukkk. So we walked out. Won't be back there. Sharon

Beverage was "warm and wonderful." Pancakes were decent, but sat on the bar for ten minutes before our waitress served them. Granted, the two other tables in the restaurant were keeping her busy. They don't have second breakfast here. The waffle machine was broken and one of our party really prefers waffles. Unfortunate experience all around.

Have not had much problem at any of the IHOP's in the area. They are the only breakfast place that will fix eggs for my son - he only eats eggs poached.

I was supprised at how different IHOP'S food tasted around the country. In Atlanta the food and service is horrible. Not to mention the creature like servers that served us. This IHOP in Hamton served food that was hot and delicious. Compared to the Atlanta waiter whos name was Delicious. I say go ahead and eat there.

Pros

+ Spacious and fast service

Cons

- None that I can think of

I usually love this restaurant. Actually I love IHOP, the service I can do without. This last visit was possibly the worst I have ever had. We visited on a slow Sunday evening, and right away I could tell this was not going to be a pleasant experience. The hostess was very rude, and 2 waitresses fought over who would have to help us. When we were (finally) served our sweet teas, they tasted...
