I'm exhausted. Nails done, bowling and now eating time. We used 2 Groupons today. Hooters has $25 for $15 and bowling was $30 for 4 people 2 hrs of bowling. Had a fun day. Hooters service was horrible, they tried to serve us plastic silverware and then dirty silverware and we never saw our server. Sorry to say today was the 1st time I didn't tip. Our waitress was attentive and kept checking on us for our needs... refills, ranch, blue cheese, etc. We ordered 50 pieces mild buttered buffalo chicken. The order came in reasonable time. Great wings and remodeled place, so very nice and convenient
All I am going to say is the service is VERY BAD here. We waited well over 40 minutes for our food and wasn't even busy. Never got an I'm sorry it took so long. I was going to get dessert to go but I was afraid it would take another 30 minutes so I went somewhere else for that.
If there was a 0 I'd give it. Used to be our favorite Hooters- not anymore. The food was AWFUL and the waitress was too busy socializing to do her job. Waste of $50. We won't be back, it's gotten worse and worse but that was the last straw.

Absolutely garbage. Went there today wings not done. Food took forever. Service really bad seven waitresses at the door not doing anything. Wings were not done cooked all the way took for ever to get waitress to come back. Place has gone way down hill. If tje waitresses doin their job rather than trying to be Cinderella nwould be a great start.

We came to eat here on a Wednesday for the kids eat free deal. We were seated right away. The server, Rosie, very nice and great with our boys. My husband and u both got the fish and chips, and it was de-lish! The boys enjoyed their wings and fries too, along with my left overs. :-)

Although we sat there for 12 minutes before any of the ladies would wait on my buddy and me (many passed by but clearly we were temporarily invisible), once one of them decided to make an appearance, things went well.

No surprises here for Hooters regulars. Shrimp, wings, cheese sticks and cheese fries were all good. PBR was cold and on tap, tv view anywhere I turned and polite and attentive ladies all combined to provide a great Friday lunch. Manager made her rounds and the place is very clean. Will return.

I have eaten at Hooters all over North America and in my opinion this is the best. The service was good, the girls were beautiful AND friendly! The food was really good. The kitchen service was really slow but the waitress-watching made the time fly by. Just like every other Hooters, there are lots of cuties in skimpy clothing but I had never seen the impromptu "entertainment" offered here. One demonstrated her abilities with hula-hoops. Great for lunch. When I worked close by I used to eat here all of the time, as they have a weekly lunch buffet of wings, sandwiches, salad and pasta which was a great deal. Always had great service at this location and there is plenty of seating, sometime parking can overflow but there is plenty around. This location is near the airport which is nice.
I've been to several Hooters in the Hamptonroads area and I must say that I like what this location has done. They have added a lot to a menu that used to be boring. They also make some pretty good mixed drinks now. I like how they added new types of wings instead of the normal "hot" wings. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan wings and they were absolutely delicious. I was reviewing the Norfolk City Guide for romantic restaurants and noticed that Hooters was listed as one the winner for a romantic restaurant. I might be crazy, but who in the world would want to go to Hooters for a romantic dinner??!?!? I can understand if a bunch of hormone driven men wanted to go there but I would not classify it as BOC romantic restaurant. Please!! Let's get real here.
