The room smelled like mildew and there was a murky water standing in the bathroom sink. I requested another room and it smelled much better as long as I had the airconditioning blasting on 60. When I tried to turn it up a little because I was freezing, the weird smell was there as well.

The hotel was ok. There was a mix up at the front desk with my room preference. They only had one clerk working and there were people constantly coming in and the phone was ringing off the hook. A Non-Smoking Room does not mean what you might think. There are "non-smoking" rooms on the 4th floor which also has rooms for smokers. The smoke travels out of those rooms and fills the hall. I was in Richmond to attend a College Graduation (VCA) and needed an inexpensive place to stay for the event. I was pleasantly surprised how well maintained, the super friendliness of the staff (it's OK to speak to staff, to say good morning, have a nice day, say thank you for their service, etc). I even enjoyed their "free" breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Very unimpressive cleanliness. Shower was clogged up and maintenance man did not understand what needed to be done. My husband had to show him what needed to be done. The gym was very unclean also. The carpet was dirty every day I went in there to use it. I couldn't even work on my floor exercises. There was broke equipment and no remote for the tv, even after I asked the front desk.

This is by far one of the better hotels at the Richmond airport. It was for one night before a flight and there was one issue, but the staff corrected it immediately, were very apologetic and more than made up for the oversight.

My family and friends rented two suites that sleep 6 people at this hotel the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The suites were quite spacious and met all of our needs. Hotel staff were extremely accommodating. I would stay at this hotel again when I am in the area visiting my family.
The hotel is right next to the airport and really easy to find. I was there for three days and nights on business and it was perfect for what I needed. The bed was soft the room had a desk for me to work at and a nice TV to unwind and relax after days full of conferences. After getting married me and my wife checked into this hotel for the night as we were flying out early in the morning. We had forgotten to pack a few things before going to the hotel. The hotels shuttle driver took us out to Target to pick up these items. We had a great stay and will use this hotel again the next time we fly out of Richmond International Airport.
It was very easy to find, lots of lit parking, and the front desk people were very helpful. The lobby and my room were very clean. I loved that there was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. If I were traveling to the Richmond area again, I would stay here.

Overall, the hotel is relatively clean and in decent shape. The one thing that really bothered me is that despite having a smoke-free room, the hall of the floor I stayed on smelled strongly or cigarette smoke. It was a one night stay and the hotel was just what we needed. Good, clean and easily accessible to the major roadways.
