Every year my family vacation in Windsor north Carolina and this is our first stop when we arrive. We enjoy the food. Our family members meet us at the heritage house and we have a mini family reunion, good food, great service.

It is real home cooking that's hard to find. All towns need a great place like this to eat at. The food is amazing.

Me and my family ate here today and to be honest the service was poor as well as the quality of food! First of all we ordered a buffet and the teas were not included in the price! I've had better food at McDonald's to be honest! I talked to the waitress about my high bill and still there was nothing done about it! I guess they thought they could take advantage of out of Towner's! Not again!...

It's some of the best down-home cooking you'll ever eat! Friendly folks as well. We always eat there when we are in Windsor!

Stopped with my family after going to a yard sale at Hope Plantation! Wide variety of food, and magnificent prices! Fed six people with drinks for $40. Food came out fast hot and delicious. Close to 17, and minutes away from a free outdoor walk through zoo with play area and nature walk. Just an awesome little spot.

Good southern style food. We had a seafood platter and pork chops. They look as if they also have a hopping takeout and buffet business by observing the business during our meal.

We just recently moved here and this place came highly recommended. We have now all ready eaten there about 3-4 times and the food and service have always been superb! If you like down-home cooking this is the place to get it!

It appears several of the restaurants here are only open for breakfast and lunch, but not this place! If you like southern food (fried chicken, black eyed peas, Carolina BBQ, succotash, etc), you'll want to take this short jaunt off the Highway 17 to gobble up their buffet ($9.95 and $6.95 for small kids). WE went there on March 22, 2015. The food was average, but NOTHING to write home about! The buffet is only 9.95, so it's worth the price! Would visit again if in the area!

Great place for families and travelers. Local spot. Mom and Pop. Good selection of choices. Food is always hot and yummy. Great buffet. Good service.
