Was surprised that bed cover was old and stained and bathroom sink didn't drain well. I had a little trouble at check in but I was just ready to get to bed. The saving grace of this Hotel for me was the housekeeping staff, all that I came in contact with were very kind, especially Ms. Vanessa! Very clean room and public areas. Our room was clean, comfy, nicely decorated, everything worked and it had the blackout shades, so the sun didn't wake us early! The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, but we did get there before the crowds hit! Even got free bottled water.\n\nPool had some leaves in it, but it was windy. Location and price for a really excellent room.\n\nEggs were dry and hard every morning. Room had no hot water.\n\nNight staff were wonderful. Room had no hot water--desk brought us up a cart and changed our room. Even checked back later to see if we were satisfied and comped a movie for the nonviolence. This Hampton Inn compares very favorably with others we've stayed at. The breakfast was out of this world. I loved getting back in the afternoon from sightseeing and having hot fresh baked cookies waiting for us in the lobby!
