This hotel is my choice of stay for business travels to the Outer Banks. Although it is not necessary to tay that far north I do go out of my way to enjoy the location and friendly staff here. The rooms are always clean and the hotel facilities are always kept in great condition.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. It snowed while we were there (very rare for Corolla) so they were short-staffed, but the staff that was able to make it in did a super job.
Everyone at this Hampton did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent, very tasty and the eggs were warm. When I requested an extra pillow for our bed, the staff delivered it to our room in a very timely manner. I definitely would stay there again.

This is a fantastic off-season destination. Room rates drop significantly from their summer highs, and the crowds are gone. The hotel is in good repair and they serve a serviceable complimentary breakfast.

Great location for a short drive to see the wild horses on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The main road may become crowded during May through September, but the location and the views make up for those issues.

It's in the middle of nowhere, but so is Corolla. Quiet, updated place. We went in the end of October, so not over crowded. Breakfast in the mornings was excellent for a motel, different every day. If you're going to look for horses, there's a company at the first light down the street above the wings. Great company, hummers make it down the beach and dunes with no problem at all.

This hotel overall was pretty good and I could not say anything bad about the room or the staff. It is not within walking distance of anything and it does not have a bar where you could get a mixed drink (but you can buy a beer from a cooler near the front desk). We had a great room on the first floor with views of the dunes from our porch. The queen size beds were super comfy, the sheets were soft and cold, we had an overhead fan, and a fridge to store our picnic food. We loved staying here and have stayed several different times at different times of the year, both on season and off, and nothing changes everyone is still wonderful and so is the service. We will of course be back here again as this is a favorite place to come and stay when we need a getaway.

We have stayed here many times…love the ocean front location and the fact that it's directly across from the Pine Island indoor/outdoor tennis facility. We were a little disappointed when we booked our room thinking we were getting a ocean front view and ended up getting an ocean view room. I stayed there about a week ago and saw some things that really desturbed me....one the executive housekeeper is very rude to guests, cursing at her staff infront of my daughter and pushing an elderly man that i believe was the houseman....i dont care who you are you do not put your hands on anyone. I really do not think she needs a leadership position at any job if she acts and talks to her...
We all get busy with our day to day lives, this was the perfect place to just getaway from it all. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent and friendly. We loved that it was right at the beach and when we got tired we could come back to the hotel and just relax in the pool. We came home truly relaxed and refreshed and are looking forward to our next stay here.
We really loved the hotel -- it was located in the perfect spot. We were able to enjoy the beach, a wonderful pool, and go out to dinner without any issues. The room was super clean, the staff was responsive and courteous. I definitely recommend this for the price if you are traveling with a family and all of that necessary gear.

This is one of the best Hampton Inns. The room we had was huge, complete with a desk/table and kitchenette. After coming to the end of a long road trip, we were tired of restaurant food. The hotel fit our needs perfectly. It was very clean, quiet, and offered all the features we were looking for without having to pay lots more to rent a house in Corolla.
