There is so much history on Gwynn's Island. Just look up Hugh Gwynn and Pocahantas. The lore is deep and the artifacts to back it up are here. It is a two-story museum with tons of books and other treasures scattered about, I could get lost for hours in there, and I have. Everything is so well laid out, that...

The orator at the museum gave us a wonderful tour of the museum. She explained so much and it was a good experience and worth the visit!

Very nice museum, but has limited hours of operation so sometime its hard to work it into your schedule for visiting. Has lots of information on the local history.
