My favorite restaurant
The chef apparently does not know how to treat veal very well and left a layer of hard fat on it making chewing very difficult. I was only able to eat the edges. But the pasta I had was very good and my wife enjoyed her broccoli pasta dish.
Everything was great. We had reservations and we were seated immediately. Food was tasty and the service was great. Restaurant was full but still able to have a conversation.
We eat at or take food out from Fontina Grille every month and have never been disappointed with any aspect of the place: food, service, wine, value. Our "go-to" place whenever we are undecided about where to eat out - consistently great.

Excellent Italian food at reasonable prices. Friendly, competent service. Noisy on a Saturday night at peak dinner time, perhaps because there were families with young children, but it got quieter and easier to hear conversations as it got later. There's a reason that this neighborhood joint is the busiest place in the neighborhood. While the service can be unpredictable at times, the food is consistently good. We go there regularly with visitors and everyone comes away pleasantly surprised.
Love the new decor since this restaurant just got a new owner. I am so glad the menu has been updated to include more options but still retains the good food it had before. I am just overall pleased that the quality of food from before the new owner has been maintained if not raised and the amazing options for food have been increased.
