Busy Valentine night but they were well prepared with many managers and waitstaff working. Waitress was there at the table immediately upon us being seated, she was well versed in the menu and wine selection, our glasses were never empty. Overall great experience!

Absolutely the best service and food experience we have had at Flemings or maybe anywhere else in Richmond. Our waiter, Chris Miller, did an incrediable job. The steak was perfect, the wine was excellent and the dessert was wonderful. The dining room was packed resulting in a fairly high but acceptable noise level. We usually try to get there very early in the evening before the crowd.

First try dining at Flemings. Ordered 4 of the dry aged ribeye's. One was clearly a different cut. They also got the serving temperatures mixed up so we had to cut all the steaks and figure it out for ourselves.
We enjoyed the food and drink at the bar during happy hour. The calamari was amazing. The meal in the dining room was highly overpriced. We waited a long time for our steak and porkchop. My filet was very salty but otherwise well cooked. The Fleming potatoes were not very plentiful and also salty. $150 for a less than memorable meal is disappointing.

Went to celebrate New Year with family. Waitstaff very pleasant but not very professional., calling the male members in the party "Bro!" Began removing dishes before everyone had finished their food and asking people what they wanted for desert. The restaurant had many empty tables so it was not a time issue problem.
We made reservations online and received a follow up phone. We celebrated New Year's at Fleming. We had drinks and dinner. Our waiter was awesome. The food and environment was excellent. We have always had excellent meals and service at Flemings.
The service at our visit to Flemings was great! The bar staff were pleasant and prompt. The wait staff, once seated, were as well. However, the steak was far undercooked, the lamb chops over cooked, the few small bits of lump crab meat served with two asparagus spears (ala carte addition) was ridiculously overpriced. The same glass of wine was $7 on happy hour at the bar was $14 at the table....

Delays in our meal (about an hour for entree) were offset with comping of appetizer. The steaks were moderately tasty when arrived, the sides were great. Very noisy location and price of the drinks was a bit insane (I drink scotch and accustomed to doubles of single malt being pricey but wow, 6 for domestic beers and 1 double glenfiddich 12 = 60 bucks. We felt that the food was very very expensive. The quality was good but not great for the price. We love Ruth Chris and were trying something different for a birthday. The staff was very nice but the big bill and just OK food sort of put a damper on our experience. We will go back to Ruth Chris when we are in the mood to splurge next time.

Honestly have only been there for their 5 for $6 till 7 deal. Choices of 5 different wines, cocktails, appetizers, and then their "prime burger" are each 6 dollars until 7 pm nightly. I was reading some of the reviews for Flemings and I just cannot believe that these people were in the same restaurant that I love. My husband and I look forward to our nights out to have drinks and dinner at Flemings and everything I have had has been Wonderful. It's a nice enough place, but Copper Grill at Short Pump Mall is MUCH better - better food, ambience, service, and value. Note that they do not grill their steaks here. They broil them and put butter on them, like Ruth Chris. Copper Grill will really grill your steak - the way steak was meant to be eaten.

We had an amazing dinner for fourteen people in one of the private dining rooms. Fleming's is great for groups. I had heard that it can be noisy but the private room was quiet and we had great conversation. The wine list is the best in Richmond. Flemings is quite pricey, but the steaks are seriously great. We had a bone-in filet mignon that was to die for, and a NY strip that was very good. Unfortunately, the side dishes are ala carte and nothing special. The wine list is amazing and probably one of the largest in the area, tons of wines by the glass to choose from which is nice if your the only wine drinker. Personally, I liked the decor and atmosphere at Flemings, but wouldn't expect an intimate dinner there as it can be a bit loud and busy.

Fleming's is an excellent restaurant. The steak I had could quite literally be described as melt in your mouth. The noise level is a bit high, but if you go with just one other person it is perfectly easy to converse. The wine selection was amazing and the servers know what to recommend with each dish. There are wines for every budget. It may seem expensive, but it is worth every penny.

The only good point of Flemings is its excellently prepared steaks. Its incredible noise level makes conversation virtually impossible except for shouting to the person next to you. Wine is two or three times what it should be, and the rest of the menu is pricey, too. Could call this an expense account restaurant but I would never take a business client here because of the inability to engage in conversation, given the noise level.
