We just recently moved in to Featherstone Apartments, I love the office staff and the girl that moved us in, she was really helpful, She even took pictures of us for our scrapbook, I am very excited to be living in Kiln Creek! Thank you for a awesome experience Lacey. So far so good.
They are supposed to be luxury apartments, but we were stuck in the back of the complex. We had extremely noisy neigbors and at one point they even moved a group of migrant construction workers in on the other side of the building, it was hell and the management simply didn't care.
****We moved in in 2013 - this is not an option above. Property looks okay from the outside, other than the fact that I found glass on the playground and it is definitely not maintained. However, step inside & you'll walk into a dirty timewarp. Nothing's been updated in 20+ years. Staff is friendly and the maintenance crew respond quickly, but wow, old old old & dirty dirty dirty.
I have enjoyed living at featherstone for the past 3 years and it saddens me to have to leave due to military orders. The current staff is remarkable and friendly. Barbara has been a dear and I will miss her tremendously. She always gives the kids candy on fridays and holds are mail when we go on vacation.
Big disappointment!! Paid lots of money to live in a space less then 950 sq feet and covered with mold. My daughter developed respiratory allergies that miraculously disappeared when we moved out. It was the worst experience ever.
I just moved in last month to Featherstone and I love it. They staff is wonderful and actually i lived here 3 years ago before i got deployed and just got back and came straight to Featherstone. It is a breath of fresh air to know that all is taken care of everyday by such wonderful people
The apartments are nothing what they look like! They're all badly put together! The whole staff in the front office is rude! No idea how to manage a business. Very unprofessional! Not happy with them at all, and so so so happy to be moving out! And the rent is way too expensive for what you're living in!
Location is great. Close to shopping, interstate, military bases. Very nice to be in Kiln Creek area. Nice walking/biking paths available.
The staff was very helpful. Maintenance was responsive to our needs when we showed we wre willing to work together to solve problems. The staff was excellant. The apartment was newly painted prior to move in and re-carpeted.
Office and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly. Having only been here a short while I have no concerns or problems.
Beware of the 60 notice. Who in the hell gets a 60 day notice. We bought a house and had to pay a whole month here as well as our house. Should be a law against giving a 60 day notice.
I was a resident of Featherstone 7 years ago. During my time there , I was overwhemled and very pleased with the customer service that we received at all times. The office is staff was wonderful and always helpful. I am currently a resident of Kiln Creek and chose this location because of my wonderful stay at Featherstone.

I have been a resident since the summer of 2005. This is my third and final apartment home. I have found my home. I enjoy the tennis courts, pool parties, staff and convenient location.
The apartments are made poorly, management is horrible.The nicest and most honest person in the office is Barbara. Anyone else either gives you the wrong info or are just liars and scamming you. Total waste of money!! they will rob you blind. Regardless of whether you break your lease or not, you will be charged for moving out. From a 200 dollars carpet cleaning bill, in addition to a 200...
Way overpriced. Stay away... will not stay another year.
For the money this place is not worth it. There are houses for rent with yards and better appliances for the same price as what they charge. The units are not very nice or well maintained. They are Good at getting you to sign the lease but once your in that's about where the helpfulness ends.don't waste your time or money here.

A six month lease is 6 months too long in these apartments. Maintenance is completely unavailable - no matter what the problems is. Entire complex is in desperate need of overhaul. New plumbling, carpet, paint, appliances ect... Noise level is incredible and management is unwilling to help. I advise people to STAY AWAY>>>
Featherstone is advertised as a luxory apartment. I suppose that could be true... to a homeless person. It's nothing they say it is.
I moved to community in June 2005. When I first came here, things seemed to be unorganized and unattractive. Since then, the office staff have had a great pool party and halloween party. Loving this place so far. We just moved here towards the end of October and so far it's been a great experience. The closeness to both of our work is been great. The price when we moved in was just right. The staff has been wonderful. I definitely recommend featherstone
We have found the management to be very responsive to maintainence issues as well as very friendly. The grounds are kept very well and out apartment is very nice. The location in Kiln Creek is a bonus because you are insulated and not exposed to traffic. There are also nice walking/biking paths. For this area, I haven't seen anything better.
We've lived here over 2 years now. It's a very nice and quiet area. Everyone is complaining about putting in work orders. Personally I've NEVER had a problem with the maintenance. In fact, the longest they ever took to come was 3 days. What people fail to remember is that you're living in an APARTMENT, not a HOUSE! So it's not going to be perfect. But I would definitely recommend Featherstone...
If you want a nice please to live and not break the bank then featherstone is the place. I just moved in last week and all i can say is wow. Myself and my roommates moved into a 3 bedroom and love it. The office staff has been fantastic, especially rachel. We bugged her so many times to go to our apartment and each time she was so happy to take us. I look forward to see what my year bring here.
We recently moved into Featherstone Apartments after coming here last year to orginial see one of the new apartments, but we were not able to break our previous lease. Once we were able to apply, we knew right away that we wanted to come here. We love it so far. We have had no maintenance problems and the office girls are very warm and welcoming. this place has been a nightmare. i moved in about a year ago and everything was great....maintenance and the office staff were wonderful...but now we have an entire new staff and it has gone to pot....it takes almost 2 weeks to get a workorder done and if you want to speak to the new manager, well you better make an appointment for atleast 2 weeks out cause she is never there...i will not be...
This is not luxury.. They don't fix things in a timely manner, and people don't pick up their animals feces.. The price does match the poor quality of living. Trash everywhere from bad kids that won't get out of the road when you trying to get by or park..8 thumbs down..
Been here for 3 months. The apartment was repainted before moving in and is in excellent repair. Always plenty of parking.

We moved in specifically because the office management staff was so friendly. We've had over a dozen maintenance calls in less than a year, including mice. The new management is rude and unresponsive. Maintenance calls take too long, and the maintenance staff is less than helpful. It's too overpriced for what you end up getting, and they keep raising the rents higher than what it's worth. The...

1. water leaked in my closet and molded my clothes. Staff suggestion, they would buy us a box of laundry detergent!!
I lived there for 1 year and had an air conditioning unit that leaked for 6 months. I had water all over the carpet and mold growing up the wall. I called maintenance numerous times and they refused to fix it properly. I am a real estate agent and I highly recommend people to look elsewhere in the area for a place to live. Also, these buildings are right next to an airport so it is very noisy.
since moving to featherstone my family and i have had a wonderful time. the staff is always helpful and they do such a great job including residents in activites. The manager even stayed late for us when we did not arrive on time to move in. She really went above and beyond. We look foward to a great time at Featherstone
We have lived here for almost a year,in all the apartments we have lived none were any better. The staff is great, maintinance is top rate and the buildings are fantastic. You get what you pay for, top dollar for a top enviroment.
Carpets were dirty, kitchen had grease on the cabinets and the linoleum, bathrooms dirty and poor craftsmanship. I'm still trying to get my $800 deposit back. They promised it would be returned within 45 days. It's been over 50 days, I've called twice about it and still haven't heard anything about my refund.
I lived in Featherstone for 1 year and I refuse to re-sign. You have to beg and plead with Maintainence to fix ANYTHING. The parking is AWFUL you have to park 1-2 complexes away to get a spot, and if you come home late there is not much lighting in the parking lot, so you feel unsafe.
