Upon check-in, I requested especially quiet room. A voice from behind the wall (couldn't see her) assisted the less experienced front desk person. Very pleasant. Room was great! (And quiet).
The staff were helpful. Kinda of. My room didn't have an iron. When I tried to get one they were out. The lighting outside of my was dark and suspect. My lights were broken. The room looked good but the hotel had a kitchen but nothing no cups plates pans. I called the front desk no one ever answered. No one from housekeeping showed up. I had to go to front desk for towels and it was very low budget service.

This hotel was more like a small apartment. I enjoyed the kitchen amenities provided. Nothing too fancy, but great for the purpose and price we needed it for.
The front desk staff employees were very helpful and kind. My family and I had a great experience with this hotel, however, the vent in the room is right next to one of the double beds, which makes it uncomfortable for the person sleeping next to the vent to sleep comfortably.
The staff was great, check in and out was quick. We had an issue with the smoke detector chirping due to a low battery. They fixed it right away. The only issue is the room smelled of old smoke. It was a nonsmoking room and has been newly renovated but the stale smoke odor was still there.

Well first I should say that the woman at the front desk was very nice but not so helpful. These folks and hotel is so nice, I will stay there next time. Not only is it cheaper than oceanfront, but quality is maybe 40% higher too. A little pricey for what you get. We went into our room and there was a bad smell. The front desk gave us keys to two other available rooms and let us pick. One of them didn't have a smell and the carpet was newer. The air conditioner is very loud, so you might have some difficulty sleeping with it on.

The only thing I would suggest is that you not take the room next to the check-in office.
