This past time I went in, gave my name, sat down and was called back three minutes later. He "listens/listened" to my concerns. Took a few x rays, diagnosed my issues, gave me steroid injections and I am back to my old self. He even freezes the point of injection so the injection does not hurt.

Professional and knowledgeable. I wanted a physician that was an instructor affiliated with EVMS. Communication on a level understandable to anyone, helping understand any condition and making sure any irregularities are tested, if needed, and following up on those irregularities are some of the other qualities I needed. She has surpassed all those and more.
Id like to give a through review of Dr Petersen but he already stays booked far in advance as it is... so much so, you may want to keep your appointments with him by any means necessary. Dr. Chaya has an excellent physician. She is very patient, empathic and, gentle. She has the ability to really hear her patient's concerns and never under estimates her patient's concerns, thoughts or feelings.
I followed Dr. Chaya from her residency at EVMS to her Bayview Practice as a direct result of her professionalism and care. She is one of the very few endos who listen, take time to answer questions and concerns, and explain in detail why a specific drug has been prescribed and how it works in your body. She is never rushed in an appointment, which is also a rareity.
