Upon driving up to this property, we were apprehensive. From the outside it looked shabby. However, upon checking in we were pleasantly surprised by the helpful staff, cleanliness of the room and terrific views from the balcony. The Econo Lodge is a clean, safe, and we'll managed hotel with a great location. There is a great south west style restaurant right across the street on Atlantic Ave. You can use bikes for free and there is an enormous amount of free entertainment with in walking distance from the hotel on the broad walk.

The staff at Econolodge were friendly, courteous, and informative. The room has a great view of the beach and they have a pool and bicycles. We asked if we could leave our car after checking out so that we could walk the boardwalk and were told that it was fine. All in all a great stay.

It was a wonderful to sleep while at the beach. It is not a place to stay at. The room faced the ocean and we sat an inside during snowy days and looked out at porpoises\n\nthe front door did not seal completely and cold air seeped in, but the furnace worked and the room was warm.\n\nYou have to walk outside to the common area, but the area was always warm and clean.
