Disabilities? I have Multiple Sclerosis and cannot walk. The good folks at Dr Johnny's go over and beyond to service their valued customers. Any of my needs, they have met promptly, and with a smile. Denying a person with a service dog is one of the worst things you could do to a customer! How dare you deny access to a legitimate team! Reading up on the ADA laws would certainly benefit you and your business! There are invisible disabilities and you are acting against federal law by denying access to teams because of an allergy. Allergies are not (by that federal law) a reason to deny anyone...
You're breaking Federal law. You're discriminating against people with disabilities. Not all disabilities are visible. Read the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding the need and use of Service Dogs, and stop denying access!
Horrible that you would deny a legitimate service dog team. Will not be visiting your store in the future. The level of discrimination yiu showed is abhorrent.

Anyone with a disability, BEWARE. This business owner is extremely ignorant. I take it personally that Mr. Johnny stated that because my disability is not visible, myself and my SD would be denied access. I understand that his wife has an allergy, but according to federal law, allergies are NOT a viable reason to deny access, due to the fact that most pet allergies are from TOUCHING the pet...

Appalling discrimination against service dogs and their handlers.

To know that myself and my service dog aren't welcome because I don't have a visible issue is discrimination. I was born with bilateral club feet and need a service dog to help me. I am very lucky to be able to walk but to know that I am not welcome because my service dog is with me is horrible. Treat all people with respect and every person is a potential customer, I won't be that's for sure.

I am a diabetic. You cannot see my disease. But plenty of us have service dogs that alert us when we go low or too high. It is very ignorant of you to think that you should be able to "see" a disability. I will not give you my business for that alone...and for not allowing service dogs!
Had some nice items BUT, denying a person with a legitimate service dog that clearly had his vest on, not only not cool, but it is NOT legal!

We were referred to Dr. Johnny's by Home Depot. They did not carry a heating element for our stove. We went to Dr Johnny's and they did not have it in stock. We gave them our model # on Saturday and early Monday morning, Jen was calling to let us know that we could order it and have it by the next day. Great customer service! We thought it would take weeks. How convenient.

I have been doing business at Dr. Johnny's since about 1989. He is a man of integrity. I have watched his business grow from the store front to his current location on General Booth, you know, the Spanish Villa looking home. He has always been a great help and gives free advice when it comes to appliances.

Dr. Johnny's is a wonderful company, and I say this because I am a three-time and returning customer who is totally satisfied. Dr. Johnny's is patient, informative, provides value for each item purchased and takes the time to make certain the purchaser is pleased. I have purchased a dual-fuel Kitchenaid range, a Whirlpool washer, and a Kitchenaid dishwasher from this company, often sight-unseen until delivered to my door and installed. I can't say enough about this company. It is tops in my book!
