Service is excellent! (Ringraziarlo molto, Jay and Attila) Food is fabulous and the wine list one of the best in the Downtown area. My wife and I have made this a regular, and often stay over to enjoy the cool music in Jayz... the adjacent Jazz bar. This is one of those restaurants you just can't try once - Ristorante buono!
Pros
+ Excellent Food, Value Pricing, Attentive Service
Cons
- , W/E Parking is scarce

Loved it – Love this place- very romantic. Great food, the management and staff are very pleasant. Highly reccomend
My husband and I go here every time we have some time alone and want a romantic evening. The food is absolutely delicious. I am a vegetarian and the chefs will make any dish just the way I want it. My husband is a meat and potatoes man, but is ready to eat here anytime! There is one very good waiter that makes you feel as if you are the only table in the restaurant. The management is also great.
Pros
+ Romantic, Fantastic Food
Cons
- Expensive/worth it!

Both the food and service were horrible! There were 8 of us. 1 meal had to be sent back. 1 meal came after the other meals had been eaten. Never had 1 ""Sorry, I'll try to make this right"" from the waiter. My pasta dish tasted like it had been left under a heat lamp. They don't have any good beer. They don't split checks. Too bad, because it is in a good location.

Convenient & very charming location - easy to eat dinner before a show. On a Thursday night, the restaurant wasn't too busy & everyone seemed to be heading to the show, so they were experienced at being able to get us out the door in time - without seeming rushed. Dinner for 2 (salads, entrees, & Coke) was about $50. The atmosphere is very nice & the food was good. They apparently offer a shuttle service to Memorial Auditorium to save on parking & having to move your car!
Pros
+ charming, convenient, good food
Cons
- table for 2 too long

Finally an establishment that has it all! Cozy but very attractive, quiet, great service (you won't hear a waiter say ""this isn't my table""), reasonable prices, wonderful food . I have been there once and the food was plentiful and well prepared, but when you go back to an establishment and again everything is perfection it shows that it is skill in preparation and service, not just luck! I had given up ordering lobster out because it is so hit or miss as far as quality in preparation, not here. To anyone that loves lobster, you have to try the stuffed lobster, it's wonderful and can...
This was my wife and my first trip to Dibella, but definately will not be the last. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I recommend Dibella's to anyone wanting to have a good quiet meal in a really nice atmosphere. The price range is somewhat like the Angus Barn. We really enjoyed our experience at Dibella.

I visited DiBella for the first time last week with my husband and two friends visiting from New York City. We're all serious foodies, and we were blown away by DiBella's offerings. We tried three different pasta dishes -- Sicilian penne, pasta with clam sauce and pasta with vegetables, and all were wonderful. But the mussels appetizer -- an enormous bowl of fresh-tasting mussels in a hearty red sauce with massive amounts of garlic -- blew us away. I can't stop thinking about it. The calamari was great, too. I look forward to returning.

We dined at Di Bella last night before hearing Pavarotti. Our waiter, Robert, did a stellar job of keeping us on schedule without appearing to rush. The mushroom appetizer was fabulous. The veal saltimbocca was the best I've ever had. The portions of all dishes were large and beautifully presented. We sampled pork, red snapper, veal, and pasta, all perfectly prepared. Graci,DiBella. We will be back!

Great food and service for 6 experienced on Sat evening. Waiter and owner were very friendly and helpful. Food ( Snapper and veal dishes ordered) were served hot and were excellent. Sure it took a short time to prepare but this isn't 'fast-food', it was a quality dinner and priced very reasonably. We've tried many restaurants in Raleigh and this is a 'keeper'. Keep up the good work, we'll be back. PS - didn't have time to try the deserts,, next time!

Sorry, but the special of the day seemed to be ""this is the last one..."" Not sure if the kitchen and the wait staff communicate at all... but as a customer I had the distinct impression that food inventory is poorly managed. Many items on the menu were not available, or were the ""last one"" including the wine. Is this some new upsell technique ?
Wait staff tried to overcompensate with charm, as does the owner.
On a positive note, it is in a good location with nice outside seating.

I travel often to Raliegh and have longed for a good Italian restaurant. I have finally found it at DiBella's. From Appetizer to Sambuca, the food was excellent. My PEI mussels with Angel hair pasta - 1st rate. The mussels were cooked to perfection and the pasta - al dente ! The decorating job was good, with a nice faux finish. Although I didn't eat outside, the outdoor patio looks like a great place to enjoy the night. The service was good and the portions were healthy. Two Thumbs Up !

I have always liked the area around ArtSpace and was really hoping that a good Italian restaurant would give me and my Italian wife a reason to go there again. Unfortunately, Di Bella disappoints. Our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and was inattentive. The owner of the restaurant introduced himself to me in the bathroom and spent the rest of the time smoking at the bar talking loudly on the phone. Of the six of us only those who ordered tortillla wrap sandwiches enjoyed their meal. My house salad contained browning iceberg lettuce and was a little wilted. The chicken in my penne...
