I think that doctor Chamblee is great at what she does. She took great care of me when I was a child back in the 90s and based off the way she took good care of me I didn't want any other pediatric optometrist to see my son but her. My hubby literally chose the insurance she accepted through his job just to make sure our 9month old son could be seen by her. Her bedside manners was excellent....

Doctor has no bedside manners; condescending and no skill to examine babies. We were billed also for diagnosis she never told us our baby has. What a scam!

Interpersonal skills are lacking. I was referred to him by my family doctor because I have had a puffy eyelid for years. He asked me if he could introduce me to one of his terminally ill patience so I might get perspective on my situation. Not what I was expecting.

Dr. Chamblee is one of the most compassionate people I've ever encountered.She has been seeing my daughter Autumn for many years with nothing but absolute respect and genuine concern. I would highly recommend her to any one who has a child in need with eye issues. She is definitely one of the very best in tge field! Thank you for all you do!

Horrible bedside manor. I can't believe she is a specialist for children. She has no patience with young children and basically threw her hand up and gave up with our child because she's shy and did not want to speak up to answer questions. I would think that's pretty common with three year olds. Very cold person and condescending to parents. She was with her all of 10 minutes. We had waited 2...

He is always plesant, an fun to see. He was wonderful with me personally. He has completely corrected my vision. This is the first time in my life I do not have to wear glasses. Thank you so much Dr. Tanner. His staff is wonderful also.

Dr. Tanner preformed surgery on both my eyes. I was anxious but he was excellent in explaining every step, outcomes and what to expect from the surgery. He answered my questions and took time with answering all my questions.

Dr. Chamblee saw my 2 year old for an eye problem and she was great with her. She was very thorough and made her feel comfortable with the tests she had to do. All of the staff were very friendly and great with a toddler. The waiting room had age appropriate toys and was very clean.

Dr. Kitay is an M.D. at Hampton Roads Eye Associates. He has helped me through dry eyes, an eye styes and my yearly vision care. His staff prend more time with you than he does (prepping you) but he is the one who signs the lens prescription, so I put up with it. Modern, clean facility but does not have a large selection of frames to choose from.

He will spend the time and really make sure that your eyes are healthy. He will also take the time to make sure that you know how to take care of your eyes if you have a problem and answer your questions.
