I had a reservation on 2/21/15, arrived in a blinding snow storm with a significant accumulation only to find the entrance had not been plowed. My attempt to enter resulted iin getting stuck. I was rescued by a couple of local southern gentleman who stated that this cheap motel is never plowed. Thankfully the Holiday inn down the road was...
Room was not made up when we got there. Gave us another room. It was cold! Did not spend the night and left early. What wifi? Too slow to use. Not a good continental breakfast. Bare essentials. Would not recommed this motel.
I stayed at this hotel and was completely dissatisfied. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was disgusting, and we found bugs in the bed. When we went to leave because we couldn't bear to stay in a room so unsanitary, the front desk worker did nothing to try to improve our stay, and after weeks of trying to get a...
First of all, you might have trouble navigating to this place. You can see it off the highway, but it's hard to get to. I was using Waze for navigation.
Overall, this was a pretty average motel. You get what you pay for:
* It had all the basic amenities you would expect.
* Mattress wasn't super comfortable
* Breakfast...
Difficult to find, once off I-81. There was one sign sayin it was .9 miles, but no other signage. It is way up on a hill off the beaten path. The room was clean, but there was cold air coming in so having the heater on was a must. My husband needed an outlet bu the one on his side...
This was just an 'average' motel on the highway. No frills...very old...needs updating....terrible mattress. However, staff was very friendly and the breakfast was sparse but acceptable. If you are exhausted and just need a 'one nighter' for a decent rate, this is your place.
This Days Inn property was old and worn out. there was nothing broken in the room; It was simply very dated, dull and old. I would not choose it again. The sheets were scratchy and the mattresses were saggy.
The receptionist was very friendly. She made sure to put my room next to hers when she found out I was staying alone. At first, I thought that was weird but I realized why during my stay. There...
I'd like to say something positive, but stating that it slightly better than a prison cell doesn't seem like it captures a positive review. It really seems to me like the people that run this are...
The continental breakfast was not much. The Wifi was in and out constantly. The bed was great and the TV was good unless you want local channels(fuzzy). Not the worst place I've ever stayed but, not the best in the area.
Staying here was a mistake. We called the reservation line and upon declining the price we were given, we were a quoted a lower price and supposedly a military rate. I asked if we would obtain the...
Great deal on the Internet not so great in real person room is filthy mattress is all stained TVs from the 80s reserved for three people staying and they only left two towels AC is barely working
The hotel was out of the way. Nothing close in the way of dining. The pictures have been photoshopped; the paint is peeling off of the building. We did get a non-smoking room however, my husband swears there was dog or cat urine in the carpet. We left the door open a while to air out the room. No towels at all in the shower; glad we checked BEFORE taking our showers. will not stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this plAce. Good value.
The room was clean. The motel was convenient and close to Staunton. Breakfast was OK. They did put out more fruit and bagels when we requested. It was a good stay. We will come back.
Nice hotel. But they wouldn't honor their own coupon. Nasty receptionist.
Spent one night; room was clean, bed had plenty of pillows and blankets were warm, but mattress was uncomfortable. Though the place was mostly empty, myself and the few residenst I saw were situated at the rooms farthest away from the lobby. Remote control batteries were dead and I had to get them replaced at the lobby, so this was inconvenient. Would stay here again if I was price conscious.
This hotel has a terrific location, though it doesn't take advantage of the nearby pasture views. One thing that immediately struck me was that the room smelled of -- nothing. We had a non-smoking room, and there was no smell of anything; either excessive cleaning odors or the stale hotel smell that comes from hermetically-sealed buildings with no windows that open to the outside. I'd make a...
Hotel was clean but BARE BONES. Exterior entrance to room. Sparse room decor, one bar of soap - no shampoo, etc. Only one bedside table. No chain or extra door lock.
The room was nice and large. It is good quality for the money. I just spent one night and was visiting family.I was upset to find it was a Motel...not a hotel. I feel safer in a hotel. The motel was hard to find, not on a main road and construction was going on at the site.
The outside of this hotel is a little worn looking, but overall the room was clean. The bathroom was very clean, which is important to me. It's located on a hill and was nice and quiet away from highway noise.
The hotel and room were fine; you get what you pay for, but in a pinch due to College Homecoming our first choice was not available . We had the unfortunate experience of having a very squeaky mattress, which kept me up most the night. When I asked the hotel to change rooms or change the mattress, I was told the hotel was sold out. As soon as I said I would not pay for the room and that I would...
My boyfriend & I had a nice hotel room & the bed was comfortable. However, between myself & my family (including kids) we rented 4 rooms. All the other rooms we nice inside also but they all said the beds were uncomfortable. I would also suggest to get a room on the bottom floor. we were on the 2nd floor & the walk area outside the rooms looked like they were going to fall due to cracking in...
Not Recommended! This is the worst Days Inn we stayed. We stayed in this hotel for our daugther's graduation between May 21 - May 23, 2011. Rooms were very dirty as well as furniture and carpet. The king size room had no closet and toitet was leaking throughout our stay. Service was extremely poor and hotel charged $2.50 per min for local calls without us knowing in advance. The original confirmation price was $144.87 for the 2 nights but the hotel charged $172.58 to my credit card. Overall, hotel price does not worth the value. I will definitely not recommend this hotel, not even for free.
We needed a pleasant 1 night stay and this hotel fit the bill. The staff was extremely pleasent. The room was comfortable and good size, but outdated. Coffee from free continental breakfast was just brown water.
This was just a quick trip to see my family. We had stayed at other more expensive hotels in the area. But the Days Inn is every bit as good a choice and much more reasonable prices. I'd stay there again.

The exterior of this Days Inn is really run-down. Almost changed my mind when I saw it up close. It was, however, one of the least expensive in the area and that's how it should be appraised. It's perched high on a lovely piece of land surrounded mostly by rolling farmland - not yet crowded by other motels. Convenient to I-81, but very hard to find at night, once you exit the interstate. Room...
The gentleman at the front desk was most kind and helpful. He changed my room type from a king size single to a double when a friend invited herself to stay with me. The hotel was completely quiet and even though we got a smoking room, which i requested, it did not stink. Thanks again to the desk man whose name i forgot to get.
Great location, great service, just drab looking rooms. Need to update teh roms with new beds and sheets.
The hotel was just about perfect. They had a fridge, as previously listed, as well as a micro--all in working order. The room was spotless when we entered and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and patience while giving directions. The price was a wonderful deal and it was easy to get to off the highway--you could actually see it from the road! The pool was open pretty early in the...
Our stay was very enjoyable, relax, helpful, and over all very pleasant. The only thing I would have like to have a four cup coffee pot. I would highly recommend this Days Inn.We also like the signs posted going in and coming out. Thanks again for a nice Stay.
Just stoped for the night. Would have been nice if a restaurant was near by or on site. The restaurant on site was closed. We Had to drive to the next exit for food.
Room was musty, should have been a clue. We had Bugs!!!!! They came home with us too. Will never go to a Days Inn again.
Guest Services very friendly. Continental breakfast foods could have been better-too many carbs! Adding some eggs and yogurt, maybe some fresh fruit. Good adds for a small price.
I had trouble finding the hotel but that was due to my navigator, not the hotel location. Room was clean and the location was quiet. Continental breakfast very basic. It was a pretty average hotel room and was a nice room for the price.

This motel is located near the interstate but convenient to downtown Staunton and all the points of interest there. It is a quiet place to stay but has no dining facility. The staff is helpful in giving directions and information about the local sites and points of interest. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.
