I stayed in the Days Inn on Coliseum Drive in Hampton, VA. The staff were nice and very friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. I rested very well considering that it was not my own bed. I enjoyed my stay.
The Days Inn in Hampton, Virginia was not as expected. You enter your room from the outside and it was not well lit. The elevator to get to the second floor was not maintained and the door to our room was dented and dirty and we did not feel safe. The beds were not comfortable and squeaked.

Great location, located near Hampton Coliseum & centrally located in Hampton, directly off the interstate. Breakfast included with stay. The building is older though and could use remodeling & rooms need upgrades. Older model TV's, decor in rooms is not in style, old fashioned. We were there for a basketball tournament, so the room was adequate for the purpose. I would have been really disappointed if I was there on vacation.

They do not serve breakfast after 9am. Who the crap eats breakfast before 9am when they are on vacation?! No extra beds were available so my son has to sleep on the floor. Requested extra blankets and pillows but did not receive them until I went down to the lobby to get them myself.

The front desk staff as well as housekeeping were professional, friendly and courteous. Except for the one staff member at the breakfast. She was rude and harrassed the guest at the "free" continental breakfast. She monitored what we ate and drank. behaving like the food was being deducted from her paycheck.

Spent two nights while attending a conference at Hampton Colliseum. Location is excellent if you are going to the Colliseum. Check in was smooth and friendly. Hotel is older but was in decent condition. Our room reeked of tobacco smoke even though it was supposedly a smoke free room.

Checked in from a late flight, very tired and really didn't want to have to do a check, but having run into bed bugs in Hampton once before (at another location), I started a simple check. It was over very quickly, as when I lifted the pillow there were obviously bedbugs on the sheet beneath the pillow awaiting their next meal, which was not going to be me....
Our family was getting together at my daughter's home in Newport News for Christmas. My husband and I spent Christmas Eve at Days Inn in Hampton. We could not believe the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel at such a reasonable price. We will consider this hotel at our next visit.

We Had to call front desk every day for towels. Three adults in room, 2 cups for coffee, was not replenished after first night. garbage was not emptied, beds were not made. room was not cleaned on daily basis.

When my husband and I arrived at the hotel the room that was assigned to us was not clean we had to move to another room - there was in on one or more occasions that the bed was not made the dirty towels had not been replaced and the room had not been cleaned - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone of my family members or friends - as the saying goes you get what you pay for.
