Beautiful, well maintained course. Greens roll nicely. Only complaint I had was that it was a little tight with houses surrounding every hole besides the par 3s. You'd better be good off the tee or you're in for a bad day.
We played at 8 AM on a very overcast and windy day. I think the weather discouraged many others from playing so we were able to sail around the course. About the 14th hole we caught up to a foursome, which slowed us down a little. Still we finished in a little over three hours.
Course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was outstanding. I will be recommending to the group of 20 that I normally play with that we include this course on our schedule immediately.
As usual course was in excellent shape. Greens running true and relatively fast. Played in just under four hours with the 8:00 time.
This an all around great course, small elevation changes keep it fun, and is always in TOP NOTCH shape! My only complaint is proshop staff has been rude EVERYTIME I've played ( over 40 rounds here in past 2 years) other then the pro shop smugness, I give this course a 5/5
Course over priced with comparable courses in the area
Nice long golf course from the back markers. The course itself is very good and challenging, my only concern is the number of houses backing onto the course. For march the greens were in great condition also.
Temps were in the low-mid 40's. I played 18 in 3 hours and didn't see anyone in front of me, or behind me, all day. It was almost heaven. I've played here numerous times and enjoy the layout. nice mix of holes, nice contouring (not hilly, but not flat). Tees and fairways were dormant but the greens were excellent, quick and true.. I will return to Cypress Point C.C. soon. Bill W.
Played Cypress Point a few times now. Nice course with a good mix of holes. It's challenging, but certainly fair. Greens roll pretty true and are in good shape. Good value for the money!
For February, the course was in good shape. We look forward to coming back when things green up. Nice layout, firm fast greens.
Nice course with challenging greens. Pretty fast. Layout is moderate. Sometimes the houses squeeze the course on one side.
Cypress Pt is well worth the play. Conditions are excellent especially a day after rain as it drains so well.
great day of golf! and the bartender at cypress makes an awesome cocktail!!
The course has a great layout that challenges all types of players and is in excellent condition
This is a fun Course with great conditions and scenery. The fairways are plush, the greens have recovered nicely from being aerated, and the view on the 17th tee box is incredible. Had a great time and can't wait to play again.
Beautiful course! Loved playing the back 9
Cypress is a friendly but challenging course. The greens are maintained beautifully and the bunkers well groomed.
They were horribly slow, but due to the weather here lately. Could have been little faster. Cours was in nice shape.
One of the best courses in the area!
Excellent course - tough but not crazy. Lots of sand traps and some water (not too much water). Very scenic. Greens were perfect. Reasonable price ($38)
Course was in excellent condition throughout the 18 holes.
Very good customer service, which starts with the cart being delivered to the parking lot. Staff provided some course pointers and were very friendly. Plenty of refreshment delivered on the course. The greens were in great condition and the fairways were well cut and nice to hit from. The traps were also well maintained and had plenty of nice sand. Over all a great experience. As an out of town...
Course is a nice layout although some of the homes are too close for wayward tee shots. Fairways & bunkers were in great shape. However, the greens had not been cut which surprised me. Maybe they don't cut the greens on Mondays? Or if they did cut the greens then they were very slow. Would give it 5 stars had greens been cut.
Challenging but rewarding course. Staff was very personable and accommodating.
everything was really good, course was in great shape.
Beautiful course, relaxed atmosphere. Greens consistent, course well mowed despite heavy rains
Enjoyable course, good location, easy for intermediate golfer and playable for less skilled, would recommend
This place is like a beautiful airport that forgot to hire air traffic control staff. The pace of play continues to be horrendous. No starter, no marshal, several times you could see 5-6 groups on three holes, people do whatever they want. It's a really nice course/facility but ridiculous to play 9 holes in almost 3 hours! For that reason I can't recommend it!
The course was in good condition as it should be this time of the year and it was a perfect weather. Only big thing that ruined the whole day was the guy at the desk who was rude and very unfriendly.
The tall white haired man working morning shift is rude and arrogant and doesn't appear to like golf now golfers
Redo 16 and the course would be great , stupid hole
Without the golfnow deal....a bit expensive
really nice course and i would play it again.
What a fun layout. The course is in excellent condition. The greens were rolling nice. Can't wait to get back there.
Bathrooms along the course are limited so use one if needed when you see it. Loved the greens. Best ones in shape around so far and I've played multiple courses here.
The course is very nice including the greens. The pace became slow when my foursome caught up to a foursome hitting from too far back on the tees for their skill level.
Nice layout, maintenance was great for late November. Good pace of play and everyone was friendly. Thanks for letting us share your course.
Very nice layout easy to find next hole as course flows well. Some of the best laid out holes I have seen on a course. I think this is the best course In Va Beach
Very nice track. Course that all range of ability can enjoy with various tees. Love the Bermuda fairways and awesome bent greens. Needed a ranger a few times to move along a few slow pokes
Enjoyed a wonderful round, the course has some challenges but plays fair and fast. Played the round in less than 3.5 hours.
First time playing Cypress Point. Read reviews previously and general consensus was that the greens were awesome. I'd have to agree! Very well manicured and very receptive. Fairways were in good condition as well as the bunkers (I wish I could've not been able to test those out). The starter was a nice guy. Sat and chatted with him on the putting green and he gave me some tips. #5 and #6 play a...
First the negative. The man behind the counter was as rude as they come. He wasn't the pro but wouldn't give his name. He basically threw cart keys at me and when asked why the attitude he said he didn't like golf now customers. I told him to deal with it or find another job and he just rolled his eyes. As for the course it was in great shape. The pace of play of play was slow due to who I was...
FABULOUS! We had such a great time. The food was superb, the drinks were very good and the staff was phenomenal!
The course is in excellent shape, traps were immaculate, greens running smooth. Great course to golf and the service was wonderful too.
Greens were incredible... The whole course was in excellent condition.

My wedding was amazing! Thank you Anne and Brandon!

Les fairways et greens en excellent état, très agréable à jouer.
Great course! Well maintained! Fairways and greens were in excellent condition, some rough spots on the back 9, however, the total experience was great!
Golf course was in pristine condition. Beautiful fairways, challenging rough, immaculate greens. We had a great time on one of the top manicured courses I've played in some time. Kudos to the management team!
The course was in really good shape. The Marshall was on top of the speed of play, that made the day even better.
CyPt is amazing! From Anne, the course, the food, everything. Perfect wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the venue!
CYPT is a great place to hold almost any event or just to have a delicious meal. Enjoy!

always a joy--clearly the best public course in the area
It was the perfect day, a little warm, but breezy. Not crowded, so we controlled our pace. Course was in great shape!
Course was in great condition and greens were great too.
Course was fine but I have a problem with the full payment due up front. I played with 3 others and had to hit my CC for the whole amount. I have played other courses through Golf Now and could each person could pay their greens fee when they arrived.
This was the first time I played Cypress Point and hope it won't be the last. Really enjoyed the entire experience. Even though its been dry the past week or so, the course was in excellent condition. The greens were full, true, and fairly receptive. The fairways were generally in pretty good shape; nothing that a couple days of rain wouldn't greatly improve. The bunkers are well placed and the...

Great venue!! Anne and the staff are awesome and did a wonderful job taking care of us during our daughter's wedding. The dressing room for the bride and bridesmaids was stylish, roomy and clean, as was the entire establishment. We really appreciated how personable and professional the experience was.
Best kept secret in the area since most people hear Country Club and automatically think it's a private course. I've play every course in the area and by far this is the best maintained course in the area besides Riverfront & Heron Ridge, I'll even would say it's better than VB National and that's saying a lot! It's great …
Not a fan of Erin at all! The chef Shawn is a hard working amazing cook. Couldn't imagine crypt without him.
They have the best driving range in the city, hands down. The course itself is OK. It's well maintained. But I have played it 3 or 4 times and never left feeling content. I just hate playing on courses with houses lining the course and it's just plain tough for a 24-handicapper like me. But I guess I'll be playing here more when Lake Wright shuts down.
This Yelp is just focusing on the Golf Course and doesn't discuss the clubhouse or other amenities. The course is well maintained with a clever use of tunnels so not to interfere with traffic. However, it felt a little cramped to us compared to other country clubs we've played. This was due to the number …
We were here for a wedding reception. This place is pretty nice and the employees there were great and attentive. Myself and another bridesmaid came early to help set up for the dinner party later that day (per the bride's request), and of course the persons to help with the wedding reception was not there …

They have a new General Manager named Mike Allan and he is a consummate professional. I see an excellent place getting even better.
Lovely place. Erin and the staff were terrific hosting my daughter's sweet sixteen. Loved it!
Nice layout that puts a lot of water in play and the back nine scenery is unparalleled. It's a housing developement course, so houses are in play on some holes and #9 is just plain overdone, but overall, it's a reasonably fair and challenging track. See tips golf tips for hole by hole descriptions. Course is generally in great shape,...
This is a fine layout, with some excellent holes and routing. The homes do not encroach too much on the holes, so you don't feel cramped and worried that you are going to smash someone's window. The only problem is very slow greens. If they could get the greens rolling at a nice speed, this would be a 5 of...
If you are wayward from the tee, expect to need a few extra balls. OB and water abound. They are redoing many bunkers which is giving them more consistency throughout the course. Overall an enjoyable round of golf, with varied hole designs.
Incredible service, beautiful facility and wonderful event. Would recommend to anybody
I just played Cypress Point and it was in awsome shape.
The staff was excellent and very helpful.
I just had a great experience.
