Went to Craokers last night. Second visit in my life and this will certainly be my last.
Parking is terrible and it's too small inside. I ask for dressing on the side, it was on my salad. I ordered the grilled shrimp, although they were good, I wouldn't rate them any higher than a 2. Service was average, it did take almost 1 hour for our food to arrive. Will not return. I don't quite see what the "hype" is about this place. Go if you must - and I hope you enjoy, but not me.

I must be an A-lister at Croakers because I find the hostess to be a complete doll! I was shocked to read some reviews about her. The food does take a little while, but that's because everything is fresh and made to order. If you are a person that always wants to make substitutions or create your own dinner from what's on the menu..this is the place to go. Oh I'm not too crazy about the house dressing, so I stick with the home-made ranch :-)

Don't let the look of this restaurant stop you from eating here. We always eat here when at Virginia beach. The blackened seafood in Cajun cream sauce over angel hair pasta is tops. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Quotes from the table:
That is the best beef filet I have ever had.
This tuna is perfect!
I love this crab dip.
I could eat a dozen of these corn muffins.
Our waitress was one of the best I have ever had and we were demanding.

Frozen food at fresh prices. Waitress at least was honest. Clams from a can for the pasta. Waived us of the frozen mussels. My fish has a giant blood line left on it. And, for some reason it left my plate with a puddle of water. Go somewhere else.

A great place to to quench that hunger for good seafood. The raw oysters are simply amazing. The fried calamari was crunchy but a bit chewy. Otherwise, a delight. Make sure to order the hand breaded popcorn shrimp. A real treat. The salad that came in with the entree wasn't special. But the freshly baked corn cupcake was great.

Nothing spectacular but decent food. Went in with an acquaintance and neither of us had much money to spend, but we were stuck at the oceanfront trying to find food. Croakers was probably the best dinner we had in Virginia Beach. We got popcorn shrimp, raw oysters, she crab soup, shrimp salad, baked crab, and the fish special.
