We stopped here for a late breakfast (just after noon) on the way home from a stay in Norfolk. It was very crowded but our party of four was seated right away. No surprises here. We love Cracker Barrel and the food here was great, just as we expected from a Cracker Barrel. Our sever seemed a bit harried but...
It has been a while since I have been to Cracker Barrel and it's changed. Service was fine but the food was just not good. I had hamburger steak the was so dry that it could choke you. The vegetables had no seasoning and tasted like canned. Worst of all it was cold. The wife had chicken and dumplings that...
We really should have known to leave when the server started the meal by complaining about a previous guest she served and how rude they were, and how long of a day she was having, and how late she would be there, but we took our chances anyhow. Big mistake. The server, while nice, simply should not have been entrusted...
The food was typical of cracker barrel, however the server was trying to rush us out when she came to check on us the first time she brought our check just after our food got there. Then she interrupted me mid-sentence to see if we needed anything else, my daughter had just started eating. Then my daughter tells me she...
We've eaten here over the years however with the recent change in management, the quality of service and food has changed for the worse. It's a wonder why there is a constant change in servers. We ordered breakfast and the server took our drink order first. We had to remind him to bring our drinks. One of the plates had...
Service was excellent as always but the food has gone down hill. Let's start with the eggs, ordered over easy and they came out watery and the whites were very runny, the biscuit gravy had no flavor, my grits were under cooked with a large hard clump in the middle, hashbrown casserole had great flavor but was also under cooked...
Server was pleasant helpful and patient. Sent back one meal, but it was returned much more to our liking.
I have been going to cracker barrel sense the first place opened in tenn.... to night was the last straw..... I WILL NEVER GO BACK...they do not care about there long time customers..or how long a person has to wait to be serviced...I was told that I should have ask for a manager ...when I said I was to pissed...
I called my order in and they took MY name and order but whn I went there they could not find it. Another man was waiting for his big family to go order and he waited so long he was worried it was cold when he got it. The cashiers register locked up trying to find my order and ring...
We decided to stop for lunch because we were starving and knew what we'd get here. Not so much. I ordered the country fried steak. It was average at best. The gravy had zero flavor. There was very little seasoning on any of the food.
No wait, easy access from road and hotel, fast friendly service but entree was lukewarm. We had different entrees so not sure why. Advised waitress but did not talk with manager.
We ate dinner on a Friday night, so it was busy. They had us at our table in 15 minutes and gave us great service.
While traveling from out of town we decided to have breakfast at this location. Our waiter, Logan, was extremely friendly and attentive. We had to wait a while for our order but the amazing service we received overshadowed that one setback. I would definitely go back to this location again.
Enjoyed dinner at this location as we do at every Crackle Barrel location....the food is great, service is excellent, the place is clean, well managed and the gift shop is a heaven for adults and kids
I give it thumbs up........ for this Hampton and all Cracker Barrel country stores
Went here for breakfast and it was very good. The nice thing is that compared to other Cracker Barrel's it was very similar in terms of price, quality and service.
If you have s lot of time to sit around and wait on someone to wait on you then this is your place. Manger and wait staff can't wait on more than 1table at a time and then it took 4 to serve a table of 4. Won't be back unless I have a couple of hours to waste.
Went in on a Friday with my staff for lunch. We all had the fish dinner it was delicious and the portions were big. We left there full & happy :)
The place was nice and clean and friendly staff. I feel the best time to go before the crowds is at 4pm. We got there and was seated fast and waiter came and took order. Food was hot and fast. Will return again in the future. Will definetly return again for dinner at around 4.
On our way back home from vacation. Stop at CB for breakfast. Great service food $ atmosphere. Sharon
This was the slowest kitchen of any CB we've been to. Visited early afternoon on Memorial Day, not very busy. Waiter was new and inattentive. Seems a more senior server should have been providing guidance.
Food luke warm when finally served.
Would not recommend this location.
This is probably the second time I've ever been to a Cracker Barrel but I was glad I did. I ordered the french toast it came with four slices, eggs, and 3 slices of bacon for under $8 I was happy. The french toast was delicious. We sat down ordered and our food arrived very quickly. Our waitress was very...
Tommys down the road was packed so we opted for Cracker Barrel. We were a party of five and the bill came to $50 plus . My breakfast was cold. Ordered eggs and sausage. One of us just ordered biscuits and gravy. Bacon is great so are pancakes. A little too pricey. $2.50 for a coffee? Coffee is weak. They...
I went to Cracker Barrel on Sun. It was not that busy as I went around 3:30pm. Our server had no personality what so ever, she forgot to bring our muffins, we order appetizers that she brought out with our meal, when the food came there about three items missing and it took her FOREVER to finally bring them to...
It was fish fry night. They served me 4-5 lil tiny pieces of fish. The waitress was unconcern with us never refilling our drink & if I asked her for a refill she'd forget. The table was also dirty. I should have gone to Captain D's.
Friendly staff. They got us in quickly on a busy sunday. Food is ok. Our breakfast was just luke warm. Love the little country store part.
Great location, easy to find, good food and fun gift store.
Doesnt matter which craker barrel always good service & food
on this day it was the one in hampton va
try the sampler gives you a good choice of their dinner foods
Whilst visiting the West marine store we spotted the Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby and decided to have a late lunch/early dinner. We were welcomed by Durrell who bought us our hot tea and menus and generally settled us in. We made our choices with his help and recommendations and enjoyed the 'Golf Tee' game which was fun whist we waited...
This was an old-fashioned country restaurant. The service was great, food was fresh and exceptional (home cooked from scratch) I know because I cook and make everything from scratch. It was so good, my son and I went there for brunch and went back that same day for dinner. Nice big portions. To top it all off, I feel that the...
We stopped here looking for breakfast on our way home from Virginia Beach. The food was good, as expected for Cracker Barrel. I love the pecan pancakes! The service was great, and we also enjoyed looking around the store after our meal.
Screaming kids with parents who seemed oblivious! After a day of traveling 6 hours and working for 8 hours it was not a pleasant experience. Was tempted to make my dinner order to go, but the screamers departed right as I was about to ask
This location is convenient to everything. The food is good and the prices are just right for a families budget.
This restaurant is alwaysa pleasant experience!! The food is always served hot and fixed just like the menu's description. From the greeters to the servers, you always feel welcome! The managers walk around and add that personal touch!! No matter what type of meal you select, you will never be dsappointed because it always tastse good and you get your...
The best service and very good food. Kids love the gift store. Employees there very nice and helpful.
Ordered pick up. They had to "look" for ketchup, had no lids for the cups, forgot the bread. Took forever!!!
We ate quite a few meals here and found the food and service excellent. Coming from overseas on a month long holiday we had not been to this chain of restaurants and wish we could have tasted ALL of the dishes because it was good value for money and large serves.
It took my wife and daughter and I over an hour to finish our meal. We only had burgers and chicken fingers. When the food finally arrived it was warm and tasty but geeesh we will never get that hour back. It was a Friday lunch. We saw the long line at the nearby Chick Filet and thought we would...
Cracker Barrel is a typical chain restaurant. The food is appetizing and appealing. I frequent the place mainly because they serve breakfast ALL DAY. Don't go there if you are in a hurry or extremely hungry because they usually have a wait and the service is a tad slow. All in all it is not a bad dining experience.
What can I say the food is great.... The gift shop is great, just a little expensive.... The service is a little slow, but the restraunt stays busy, so the service is normal speed, I would say..... You can get anything from hamburgers to country foods to desserts that are great... I personally love their strawberry short cake....
Had my breakfast favorite: grilled catfish with eggs and grits. Perfectly seasoned, great texture and taste. People there are friendly, and the restaurant is comfortable, clean, and good value for the money.
If you grew up in the country, or just love the country. You will love this store, they almost everything my Grandma has at her house.
You can't go wrong with Cracker Barrell Old Country Store.
Went with my mum an nanny...
chicken n dumpling dinner is the best meal ever
Anyone who has ever been to one of these restaurants knows they all have the same decor and the same atmosphere. Its usually a great breakfast spot near a hotel but I've never been impressed. We happened to be coming home from vacation and stopped in Hampton for dinner. We tried the Crakcer Barrel and I'm so glad. A sign...
