If I could give lower than a one I would. Silverware was dirty. The iced tea put had not been cleaned in a long time. The tea had a musty taste so changed to coke..this is when it got bad. Imagine...

The ownership has changed at Crabbies. Unfortunately the only good thing that remains is the beautiful view of the sound. My husband ordered crab soup and it was awful. Tasted like it was straight...

Laid back. Cool things to look at. Owners always personally check on us. The fried crabs are worth a try. The burgers are good too. Nice place to watch the sunset on the deck. Dog friendly too!

My husband and I dine at Crabbie's A LOT. It's close to home, always friendly, always delicious and the view along the Intracoastal Waterway can't be beat. The scallops are the best we've ever had - never processed, super fresh, lightly battered and cooked to perfection. Owners Terry and Sarah are on-site and always aim to please. Though everything is...

We love going to Crabbies for an out of the way date night. It is the intercoastal waterway with great views. We enjoy the relaxing atmosphere for a quiet date night and a wonderful meal. Some Friday night's they do host a local band but have never made it out for that. Seafood is great as are all the other...

Really loved this cute little restaurant on the water. Fiod was tasty and service was excellente. Crabcakes and hush puppies were my favorite part! Good place for kids, even had fun feeding the...

Great spot on the ICW- our group's favorites were the homemade hush puppies , fried scallops and stuffed flounder with Key West spice. The Old Bay spiced flounder wasn't a crowd pleaser, but not...

Expected a nice restaurant, not a bar scene

Let me start by saying, this place is in a nice location. Let me also say, that despite everything else, the food was not the worst I've had. Fries were cold and soggy though and slaw was soggy as well. The major complaint of our group was the atmosphere. We went here with our friends, something we all treat ourselves...

Oasis on the way to the Outer Banks

My wife and I stop here when ever we are heading to the Outer Banks. The seafood is always fresh, prepared and delivered with the highest quality. They have a large deck that is on the Inter Coastal Waterway that enhances the beauty of Crabbie’s. The prices are far less than the places farther south, without all the crowd.

We have eaten here 2 different times and both times my wife and I were blown away by the quality of the food. The owners are on-site and give you that personal attention that you rarely get anywhere any more. The service is quick and with a smile. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is really great. The dinning...

My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to eat for the weekend. We had previously eaten across the water at Coinjock Restaurant ( a stop for large boats and had previously been happy with the food until I received a very fishy flat piece of flounder on the 4th of July for $18.99).
We went at an "off"...

Good place & reasonable

Good seafood - reasonable and plenty served. You should try it. It's a small restaurant and sort of hidden back off the main highway, but follow the signs to it. It will be worth it!!

Great!! Nice friendly environment and the people are great

Went for dinner and it was fantastic! Had a pulled pork sandwich and it was the best I ever had. Then for dessert I had a piece of chocolate cake.....it was wonderful and very friendly staff.

Great food, nice folks, reasonable price

We had dinner here and thought it was great food at a reasonable price. The hushpuppies were pretty tasty. My husband said his hamburger was as good as they get, he was a huge fan. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, the view from the deck is impressive. We will definitely stop in whenever in the area again.

Got stuck in Coinjock for a couple days needing repairs to boat and found this restaurant. What a great place. The food was excellent and the service and atomosphere was terrific

Okay, so here it is. I am newly transported local. We decided to take some friends out on the boat and head to dinner on Friday night. Our original plan was to head to the Coinjock Marina, but since there was bunch yachts parked out front we decided to give Crabbies a try. We had a party of 9 including...

Who knew there would be such a nice little restaurant right on the ICW. We were passing through Coinjock on our boat heading south. This clean, happy little restaurant was great. The owners and waitress were so friendly. The food was fresh and prepared deliciously. Very good seafood dishes and great hush puppies. Wonderful fried oysters. They have limited hours...

We had lunch and it was great. We had the fried oysters and a crabcake sandwich and they were both very good. Prices were very reasonable, unlike the other restaurants in the area. Our bill for both meals was less than the other guys wanted for one sandwich! Nice waitress, clean, quiet atmosphere on the Intracoastal Waterway. We will be...

On our way back to DC from the Outer banks, we wanted a last seafood fix. We found it and then some at Crabbies. Our spiced shrimp appetizer was so fresh and the shrimp were HUGE -- not the usual smaller peelers. The stuffed flounder, caught the day before, was prepared just right and also delicious. Baked beans wth peaches...

Was looking for a different kind of place for lunch about half way between Norfolk and the Outer Banks. Found Crabbies on the net and the name made me curious since I love crab. When we got there my wife and kids were not so sure they wanted to stay. The outside is unimpressive and somewhat rundown. The deal I...

I wanted to find a place half way between Nags Head and Virginia Beach to hook up with an old friend. After we turned off the main highway and drove to Crabbies I was really apprehensive. But like stormlover7157 I was really pleased. I found Crabbies on line and it IS a diamond in the rough. The food was very...

FANTASTIC FRESH SEAFOOD WITH EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Crabbie's restaurant sits on the marina at Coinjock NC and is a jewel of a place. It is on the way if you are heading to Nags Head for vacation and well worth the stop for lunch or dinner. Fabulous HUGE scallops and oysters. The broiled flounder on ceasar salad (my favorite) combined with the homemade crabcake appetizers keeps us...

Where do I begin?. A great fresh seafood dinner out on the deck, overlooking the intercoastal waterway, who could ask for more? Great people & great food! You MUST save room for dessert. Need a place to stay? They're the only marina/hotel in Coinjock with rooms that overlook the ICW. Complimentary Wi-Fi, pool, and a little store to restock your boat's pantry. This is one place you don't want to...

I love Crabbie's! Good food, great atmosphere on the ICW, and friendly service. I go there all spring and summer on the weekends on the boat or jet ski! Great burgers, Amazing seafood, and awsome deserts. In fact i'll be stopping by tomorrow for lunch :)

We almost didn't go in because of the way it looked on the outside....but once inside, it was very clean and modern...The service staff were all very friendly, and the view, while not GREAT, was attractive...You can watch the boats going down the canal....The food was average and so were the prices....Not a place we would go back to over...

I am not impressed. I wish I was- because there are VERY few restaurants in our area, and I had big hopes that Crabbies would delight. They have wraps, crabcakes, hushpuppies and burgers and fried fare, but its just shy of wow, or great value. I will give them a thumbs up for cleanliness and the staff has always been...

Yelp

A co-worker and I stopped in after work one day. He said the philly cheese steak was excellent. I enjoyed the crab cake burger myself. Certainly worth stopping in and grabbing some grub!
