Went to this place just by finding it on Yelp. I had the fried tiger shrimp and it came with the best hush puppies. I'd recommend to anyone. :-)

We ate here on Thursday night before elaving VA beach. Our waitress was a college girl and really catered to our kids. She made them balloons and brought out their food quick. The food was great and the place really festive with the bartender singing to the songs on the overhead.
We went here around 10 pm, the bar was busy but our waitress was on time! Food was delivered quickly & correctly. The tuna was fresh & cooked perfectly. The only issue was that with the music & TVs it was a little loud, but overall I would suggest this place to anyone.
Nice place. Went there because the wait at another restaurant was too long. Definitely more of a sports bar/lounge. Had a TV in our booth. Everyone enjoyed our food. Slight issue with the menu being incorrect with pricing but the staff was very helpful.
After a horrible experience across the street at Harpoon Larry's (see my review), the staff and management at CP Shuckers came through. Fantastic service; great oysters on the half shell, great peel-n-eat shrimp. Will definitely return.
This is a great place to get your buzz on but I would not recommend it for dinner. Lots of rowdy drinkers most of the time. Lots of fun if you like to party.
Great place. Sat on the deck to watch the Caps game with co-workers. They made sure we had prime seats to watch, kept the drinks and food flowing without interrupting the game. Simply great.

I've gone to CP Shucker's three times this week. Super Bowl party was great- great bar atmosphere, friendly service despite the fact that they were packed. Monday and Tuesday, I went for dinner. have eaten here a few times and while it can get a bit rowdy, the food here is always excellent - I dont even look at the menu - I always have the blackened tuna steak.
Good range of mixed drinks and service is quick and efficient.
Really solid food and good atmosphere are what keep me coming back here. Sometimes, all you want is someone who can do a great piece of blackened fish. Not too touristy yet. This place is still enjoyable for people who want to hang out at a bar, because it's not that popular with families.
