In Short The first Marriott hotel opened in 1957, and has since expanded to several different brands, with Courtyard serving business travelers. In addition to free daily newspaper delivery, media-equipped meeting rooms and…
This four-story member of the fine chain designed by business travelers (and very comfortable for the rest of us) enjoys a quiet setting of trees and shrubs on the eastern side of town near Busch Gardens. A plant-filled lobby looks out to the courtyard and its good-size pool. Furnished with substantial oak pieces, the guest quarters feature large desks, separate seating areas, and long phone...
We had a king bed room. The room was very nice. The hotel also has an onsite restarurant. We had drinks and dessert. The service was good and the prices were in line. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, it is not included in the night's stay. All of the hotel staff were very friendly. We had never...
This Courtyard is run very well. The hotels is typical of all courtyard Marriott hotels with usual amenities such as refrigerator, microwave and room safe. Of course there are televisions in living area and bedroom. Both were small, rather old 32" flat panels but since we never turned them on, no big deal since we didn't come to watch TV...
I come here several times a year and can't wait to arrive! It's truly my home-away-from-home from the delightful staff to the excellent cafe to the lovely reading/meeting nooks to the sleek business center. This hotel is beautiful from a design perspective, but its staff is what makes it world class. Each and every one of them.
When I told...
Came to Williamsburg for a conference at the university and ended up at the courtyard as it was booked by my employer. I had just stayed at another courtyard the past weekend and the Courtyard Williamsburg far exceeded that one!
Clean hotel, friendly staff, and the hotel bar/restaurant had decent enough food for weary travelers after a long drive.
The...
Wonderful, clean, extremely convenient to attractions, rooms very comfortable. Starbucks avail in hotel, close to The Whaling Station. Very attentive staff. Very easy to find local attractions from this hotel and close to highway.
I prefer staying in Courtyard Marriotts, so it was lucky this was the overflow hotel for a work convention I had to go to. The rooms were extremely clean! The beds were comfy and our room had a little fridge. No view of course, but I guess most people staying there are just interested in going to the nearby attractions....
I highly recommend the Courtyard Marriott in Williamsburg. Our room was attractively decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. Our check-in was fast, and the staff convivial. We had a nice breakfast complete with Starbucks coffee in the lobby area the next morning.
We stayed here with a group of 70 kids from school. The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and it was convenient to the convention. We were a little worried because our room was right next to the stairs and ice, but surprisingly we didn't hear a thing!
Headed to the lobby after a great night's sleep for breakfast. Not expecting much because, after all, it is a hotel lobby restaurant. Boy, was I wrong.
I had the Egg White Frittata and it was excellent - fluffy eggs with the perfect amount of cheese and salsa. Top that with fresh spinach and perfectly ripened avocado slices and diced...
The staff is awesome!! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and huge. My husband and i were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and the heated pool that was actually heated. i would definitely stay here again!!
Very clean, updated hotel. The lobby and courtyard area are nice. The rooms are comfy and updated. They are also spacious. I stayed there with two other coworkers. One of my coworkers was expecting an important package to be delivered to the hotel the second day that we were there which we needed for our business trip. She asked the...
We have stayed at this hotel previously. It is a clean and well maintained hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby has been changed--as we were told by a young staff member--to cater to "millennials". In short, rather than the warm, friendly lobby of years past it is a space fashioned akin to a train station with no...
After a long trip in a packed car, we were excited to finally get to the hotel and relax for a few minutes before heading out again.
We arrived at 3:30 pm, expecting to be able to quickly check in. I stood at the front desk for every bit of 20 minutes while the front desk tried to find rooms...
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and used points 12/11 & 12/12. A quick weekend trip we flew Delta Express BOS/RIC to visit step-son who is stationed at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. Richmond airport is about 45 mins. South. We chose this hotel because it was convenient to the AFB (25 mins.), Busch Gardens (for Christmas Town)...
The Busch Gardens area Courtyard is an ideal location for visiting the Historic Triangle in Virginia. The hotel is nestled in a quiet area a short drive from Busch Gardens and could easily be a good base for an extended trip to visit the numerous historic attractions. The hotel is clean, rooms comfortable, and bathroom area spacious; but, as I...
We arrived on Sunday 12/13/2015 and my wife was greeted by a very friendly person at the counter. The weather was awesome for this time of the year which helped with our decision to just make a quick get away. This is great place to stay while going to Busch Gardens for the Christmas celebration. The Hotel was very clean,...
I recently had to take a business trip to Williamsburg Virginia and reserved my room at the Courtyard by Marriott. This proved to be a very good decision. It is located just down the road from Bush Gardens, Jamestown, Williamsburg pottery and historical Williamsburg. The 2 weeks I was there on 2 occasions was a 5 star experience. There is...
We used this hotel as our base for an Army reunion. The price was reasonable, but the best were the gals at the front desk. Very pleasant, and even upgraded a few rooms to poolside adjoining. There are a few restaurants within walking distant, but we were usually offsite visiting. It met our needs.
Very nice facility. Great lobby for relaxation or work with several PC's available. Room was very clean and much quieter than I expected. Staff was very helpful, plenty of snacks to be had. Would stay there again.
Over the past 6 months, we have stayed in 4 mid-range hotels in Williamsburg VA, and this was the best of them.
It was clean, modern, and had all the amenities one should expect from this class hotel.
It's perfectly located for Busch Gardens and Water USA (or whatever its name is), and a 10-minute drive to Colonial W'burg.
Easy...
This is our hotel of choice anytime we're planning a trip to Williamsburg. It's always been well kept and the staff are great. The rooms and are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It's just down the rode from Busch Gardens so you don't have to deal with exiting traffic jams headed for 64. Historic Williamsburg is just a few miles...
5 star
Let's start from the worst and work our way to the best in this hotel. When we entered our room, the musty odor in the room was enough to gag you. We complained to front desk and they offered another room. Unfortunately, that room had the same odor. The front desk offered to let us use their Lysol and we...
The location was amazingly close to Bush Gardens and not far from the outlets!
I'm typically loyal to Marriott, so this hotel was a no-brainer on a family trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Pros:
Location - VERY close to BG (<2 miles) and Colonial Williamsburg
Check-in Service - Staff was very friendly when we checked in, and - note, we checked in around 10 p.m. - there was no line
Amenities - Free parking,...
The hotel looks like they need to update it from their 70's decor. The lobby is better, but the rest of the hotel is suffering and needs a makeover. The staff are friendly, the rooms are adequate. It WAS nice to have a "balcony", albeit a small one. It is super close to Bush Gardens, which was the reason for...
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is good location to visit Williamsburg, Yorktown & Jamestown. Front desk staff were all super friendly & helpful. We had to change rooms due to sink clog issues & it was done quickly & efficiently. Lobby looks newly remodeled with Starbucks coffee & breakfast/lunch/dinner offering for a fee. No free breakfast...
Stayed at this hotel after checking out of a very expensive resort in the area for a family wedding. We wanted one more day to take in the sights of Williamsburg. This hotel is not only clean, with comfortable beds and spacious rooms bur the folks are so friendly! We were there for only one night but would highly recommend...
I have stayed at many hotels in Williamsburg, Va. This has to be the best yet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and welcoming. The bathroom was clean and large enough to move in. It made the short trip even better.
We stayed here after a long and busy day at Busch Gardens. The hotel is maybe ten minutes or so from the park, so very convenient. We checked in at 11pm and out at noon the next day, so our stay was brief, but the hotel was clean and the workers were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again...
I am a Platinum member of Marriott rewards. Marriott closed their aging Kingsmill location a few years ago. Unfortunately, the other Williamsburg hotels just were not up to my expectations. So we have been staying twice a year in Newport News. Those hotels have also become neglected. I assumed that the cleaning people in the area just don't know what...
We booked this location due to the proximity to Busch Gardens, which is optimal by the way. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite since I am a rewards member and the room was impeccably cleaned as usual; something I don't always see with Marriott. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful when...
The hotel was located between Williamsburg and Busch Gardens in a quiet business park area off US60. The lobby was nice and looked recently renovated.
I was immediately greeted by a friendly front desk. Checkin was prompt and employees were very helpful finding a room a quiet room. They took the time to help without any attitude or frustration. They...
Got adjoining rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and in good condition. Checkin was a breeze. Hotel was pretty quiet and peaceful at night. Pool was good, breakfast service a little slower than desired but overall OK. Easy to get to historic downtown, Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. Would definitely consider staying here again.
As a lifetime platinum elite (over 1500 stays) member most of the time spent in Courtyards across the USA I can say this hotel represents the brand well. Although a little outdated even with the new upgrades, my only complaint was the noisy A/C units and hallway ice machines. Please upgrade these units sound like trains coming off the track....
A lovely hotel close to both Busch Gardens and Historic Williamsburg. Several good restaurants nearby! Clean and comfortable rooms. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Good parking. Heavy room doors so outside noise was a minimum. Two recommendations to the staff: 1) if the hotel has zone heat/ac, turn down the a/c in the hallways. Way too cold. Kudos to the...
Another good stay at a Marriott property. In Williamsburg to wind up a 10 day family vacation. Location is convenient to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Very comfortable bed. Staff was awesome, especially the ladies at the Bistro...great breakfast. The pool and spa were great after a hard day of walking. Use caution around...
I asked to be placed near the pool. I was! The room was spacious, clean, and just beautiful. Air conditioning worked well. Rooms are well-insulated. Staff was very kind. I'm definitely staying here again.
Delicious breakfast options and very nice rooms. If you're heading to Busch Gardens and need a place to stay, this place is worth paying a few extra bucks if it gets you here. We were just looking for a place to crash the night before, but ended up very happily surprised with what the Marriott offered. There's a pool, gym...
Our stay was great.....the front desk staff y'all are Awesome.......hope to come back & stay soon!!!!!
nice people, but, really slow service, they need extra help, dishes left out on tables, orders take forever, lines don't move
it should be a sit down place with more waitresses or more registers to take orders
one note, Marriott please get a better bacon, this one was all salt taste no pork flavor at all, thanks
The 2 nights stay was wonderful, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel was quite. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend others to stay. This hotel is convenient to Busch Gardens/Water Country USA and after a long day at the park that is a welcomed plus.
Beautiful hotel. Very comfy and great staff. Love the bistro that serves alcohol after a long day at the park. This place is perfect!
The room was lovely, clean, roomy, comfortable.
Bistro and market very convenient, pool area is great, outside general patio area is wonderful, quiet and peaceful , due to the hotel being situated off the main road.
Very tranquil and relaxing.
Staff very friendly, expeditious upon check in and check out.
Would like to see an in room safe and a...
We stayed at this hotel for one night when we visited Busch Gardens. It was conveniently close to Busch Gardens. The rooms were clean and neat, the staff friendly and it had a nice [but small] pool. It was also within walking distance of various restaurants. We ate breakfast at the hotel and the food was good. My only complaint...
Never I'm Williamsburg before, the hotel is so clean, grounds we'll keep, staff very friendly, rooms very clean and housekeeping staff very courteous and friendly. Hotel location is magnificent. Good job Marriott Team. The Bristo restaurant team is very friendly and amenities are at hand
We were very happy with our stay which pretty much means we had no problems.
Check in
The front desk clear who was also working the starbucks was fantastic! No problem and off to the room. Plus at the last minute we added a crib to our room and it was up there before we unloaded the bags.
Room

Wonderful facility...we have a member of our family with a gluten allergy. The cook staff was very knowledgeable and we were able to eat without worry. The food was a bit expensive, but then again, where isn't! :)
Great stay. Thanks for tw accommodations.
2 day stay and everything was fantastic .
Having stayed at many a Courtyard in the US and internationally I can say without a doubt that this was my favorite one, thanks to the amazingly friendly staff. Every single person has been nothing but helpful, kind and happy. We had some trouble with rebooking from a different hotel, and Todd helped us out immensely. Sadly I forgot the...
We stayed here 3 nights for our first family vacation to the Williamsburg area. As a Marriott Gold elite member.. I knew the family would love the modern design, bistro & extra fun indoor / outdoor pool + hot tub.
The staff was extra nice to my wife & 7 year old son. BTW, it is a mere 2 miles...
The hotel was very clean and the service was outstanding especially shariee Gray who worked at the Starbucks in the lobby. She greeted us with such joy. She made us feel very welcome . Staff here also was very polite and went beyond to my family feel welcome. Pool was great and very clean . Close to everything. Will stay...
Clean and wonderful staff very close to bush gardens
Typical Courtyard Marriott with indoor/outdoor pool. We stayed here for 6 nights while visiting Busch Gardens and Water Country and had a great stay. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the pool and could not hear a thing once patio door was closed even though there were a lot of kids in the pool...
Close to Water Country! Speedy check in (the fastest I've ever experienced). Stayed for a 3 day vacation with my husband and children. Suite was very large and enough room for everyone to be spread apart. Suite was very clean. Pool was large and the hot was amazing.
Business trips have a tendency to meld into one another and it becomes hard to distinguish one hotel from another but this property is an exception in my opinion. The staff was very warm and forthcoming in greeting guests as they entered and did the little things to help one feel more comfortable. As with any hotel there will always...
I wish I had something more interesting to relay, but there was nothing exceptionally poor or great about my 3-night stay. Checkin was okay, I was given the type of room I requested, and it was clean. I ate food a couple of times at the restaurant, and it was so-so. Calling for room service from any one of a...
stayed 3 days the pool was cool indoor outdoor in one. little small
Beautiful place, front desk workers are very nice, along with the other workers, rooms and overall hotel is very clean and they have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!! Would love to know what kind of mattresses they have, anyone? I will highly recommend this place to anyone I know visiting this area!
Room was modern, simple and very clean. Bed was quite comfy! For being so close to park it was suprisingly quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful, always a smile. The restaurant in the lobby has a delicious menu served by very nice staff. The only problem I had with this hotel is that I had. to leave. Will absolutely stay here again.
Needed to add an additional day and didn't use Expedia. Big mistake. They charged me $75+ more than what I paid with Expedia. Wouldn't make any exceptions or give any discounts. Will not stay there again.
We stayed 2 nights on our trip and it was fantastic. Clean hotel with very friendly staff. My only improvement would be that the air conditioning unit was a little noisy in the room but kept the room nice and cool in the middle of summer. Good value for the price. Recommend to stay for all.
We've had two weekend long stays at this hotel and both times all of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. We will stay here again! Highly recommended!!
We had a family reunion here. The hotel was full and the staff was amazing! They were able to attend to everyone's needs with a smile and personalized service. I was really impressed, ever need was met and exceeded.
Courtyard is the most consistent. Great checkin, nice room, excellent breakfast, and an active lively actual courtyard with indoor/outdoor pool
Clean, staff is friendly, amenities are great. Location is minutes from Busch Gardens and about 45 from beach depending on traffic
The hotel was easy to find and within a few minutes drive to Busch Gardens as well as dining and shopping. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The room was quite comfortable, more than adequate for a few days stay. I would stay here again.
I was given a room that wasn't cleaned thoroughly, but was quickly upgraded to rectify the mistake. Pleasantly surprised.
Less than 3 minutes to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and less than 6 minutes (in the other direction) for Colonial Williamsburg, as well as 10 minutes from Water Country? Perfect location, and the hotel is WAY nicer than it needed to be. Pleasantly surprised, great Bistro/Starbucks in the lobby, with free WiFi and an indoor/outdoor Pool with hot tub (great after a full day of walking). workout...
Overall stay was excellent. Staff was very nice and rooms were very clean.
I've never had such amazing service!! The staff here is AMAZING.
Unlike other Courtyards, the room was a bit tight. We only stayed for one night so it was fine.
We enjoyed the hotel. Booking on Expedia saved $$$.
The staff here is so courteous and HELPFUL...Apple went above and beyond with assisting us during our stay. The hotel is beautiful, clean and conveniently located to all the Williamsburg attractions. We will definitely be back to stay here whenever in the area.
The biggest problem we encountered was the bar and restaraunt area. First, what is described on the site as a bar is really three seats and a table. Also, there were no real bartenders on staff, only front desk employees making drinks. Further, the same goes for the kitchen. No cooks, just hotel front desk clerks microwaving food. Extremely disappointed.
Check-in was fast, the room was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly.
My wife, two children and I stayed here last year and enjoyed our stay so we decided to book another stay this year while we were doing a Virginia Beach and Great Wolf Lodge mini vacation. Once again the room was very comfortable the staff was awesome the location is great and the pool was nice! We all had a great stay. Will absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank You Courtyard! :-)
5 star
Great place to meet friends for weekend in Williamsburg. Starbucks was a big hit in the lobby.
Rooms were well kept and clean. The room was on the ground floor near the pool where the children loved it. After a hot day at the park, the pool was quite refreshing. It would be nice if the hotel offered a continental breakfast, you had to travel slightly down the road for this unless you are OK with fast food.
Room was mediocre nothing special rated as a 2 could be updated
Wonderful staff - relaxing courtyard, bar and pool. Room was very comfortable and clean. We were there for my son's graduation from Ft. Eustis.
Wonderful! They were very accommodating, friendly, and efficient. We would highly recommend!
It was clean, comfortable and close to Busch Gardens.
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean .the cleaning crew was the best. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends
We traveled 12 hours straight and was able to get an early check in at 9am. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They also have an outdoor pool that connect to an indoor pool and a good size indoor Jacuzzi which we enjoyed very much. You can access the pool from inside the building without going outside in the winter months. They also have a nice gym. This hotel is only 1 mile down...
Staff was great . Always pleasant Didn't mind going out of way to help . Manager was top notch
Very nice hotel. Only wished they had the free continental breakfast in the morning. Good location...right next to Busch gardens and only a few minutes from downtown Williamsburg.
The lobby of the hotel has all of the amenities. They do a good job making it a relaxed setting with couches, TVs, smartboards and the Bistro. We picked the location because it was close to everything (Yorktown, Busch Gardens, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg) and it didn't disappoint
Check in was easy and painless. The room was clean and modern. The room was quiet and close to the elevator. The bed was comfortable. The Bistro in the lobby offered a decent menu but we went out to eat. A great value for the money.
Close to Busch Gardens and nicer than others nearby. Room has color and not plain Jane off white. No noise from other rooms is a huge plus. Mattress a little soft, but I normally sleep on a firm. Hot tub appreciated .
We had a great stay. The hotel was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I would have liked to have seen a continental breakfast. I did like that there was a café at the hotel. It is convenient to Busch Gardens but we had to drive a long way to get to the outlet area.
This hotel ismuch more beautiful than the photos suggest. Clean, modern lines in the interiors create a sense of peace, without being boring. The fireplace in the lobby is a nice touch. The Bistro idea is a great one, with a simple menu , and a real chef on site preparing meals to order. The open concept in the lobby connects the Bistro/bar, the sitting area and the business center, creating a...
Very good. Will be back.
In the area for a conference. For me, the location was great. Staff very friendly, lobby and room very attractive, bed very comfortable. Nice to have free wi-fi (can't believe other places still charge for what is now a basic utility). If conference in same place next year, very likely to stay again.
Recently upgraded so this hotel was very clean. I had a pleasant time in this hotel and price was awesome!!!
My mom and I came to the Burg for a quick but restful birthday getaway for her! Our stay was brief but very nice. The hotel and staff were great! I told her that we will stay again!
The receptionist was wonderful! She greeted us with a smile as soon as we came in and quickly checked us into our rooms!
Our overnight stay was wonderful. The room was ready when we arrived; the beds were beautifully made, clean and comfortable. We had plenty of towels and personal products. The room was quiet, had a lovely TV, coffee/water bar and refrigerator. We will return and advise others about our positive experience.
Overall it was fine. However, I am not a coffee drinker and I wanted a cup of hot tea. No tea anywhere, except downstairs where a cup was on sale for several $$! AND...no free breakfast!! In fact, nothing was frees!!
My stay was fantastic. I was disappointed when I found my room left open. I was told they house keep just left the room. Regardless my room should not left open since no one was not around.
Took a few days to bring in the New Years. Hotel was nice. The city of Williamsburg isn't the place to be for New Years. This place closed everything. Will try again in the spring..
We were in Williamsburg for Busch Gardens. This hotel is right down the road from the park and is very accessible via the main road. It was very clean and comfortable, and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay here.
This is the first time we stayed here and it was wonderful as it's in a quieter area of Williamsburg minus the occasional trains that pass through but that's comforting to me as my father was a trainer collector!
Nice hotel.
Great hotel that is conveniently located near Busch gardens and short distance from Williamsburg. It has grocery store and fast food chains nearby. Hotel is comfortable and modern and has good atmosphere. I would stay there again.
I stayed one night with my family. The location is very close to the busch gardens, kingsmill resort and colonial williamsburg area. The room is clean and comfort. The staffs are helpful and kind. I can recommend and will stay next time.
very nice hotel its in a great location will stay there again if i get another to.
As the subject line states, this is a beautiful hotel and I always enjoy staying here. The staff is very friendly and courteous, and my family had a wonderful time. Only a couple of negatives. Staff should discourage guests from letting their children run in the halls. Also, guides about things that are going on in the area and a reference binder about the hotel would be helpful. It would be...
Courtyard by Marriott is always a good choice for consistent quality. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and professional. A great place to stay after a day in Williamsburg or Busch Gardens. Location is off of the main highway which makes for a quieter stay.
the best the best the bestno problems and very clean hotelloved it and will stay again for sure
Stayed overnight in Willamsburg to check out Busch Gardens Halloween festivities.... Perfect spot to stay, super close to the park and highways. Will be staying there again next time we go down!
4 star
The hotel was the perfect location to Busch Gardens and Water Country. The hotel was clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The indoor/outdoor pool was clean. We will definitely stay here again.
It is the perfect hotel to stay at while visiting Busch Gardens. We took a taxi to the park - only a couple of $$$ more than parking fee.The courtyard has a nice Patio area for group gatherings.Nice Indoor / Outdoor Pool. The business center is located in the front lobby area. There were two new computers with large screens. The hotel has a modern, comfortable decor. All the staff were very friendly.
The room and hotel is updated, comfortable, and clean. Not alot of frills, but good for the price.
Clean, comfortable bed\n\nStaff would not give us a king bed when we asked, especially when they found out we were Priceline customers. Their tone became dismissive.
It was very clean and comfortable!\n\nThe only thing negative that I could say about this hotel is that the tissue wasn't as soft as what I buy at home.\n\nThe Marriot Courtyard was so clean and comfortable that I wished I could have spent more time in my room!
CLEANEST hotel I have EVER stayed in! Staff was awesome! Comfortable bed, great WIFI!\n\nno one thing\n\nThis hotel definitely earned its three star rating. Everything was great. Staff made my day the moment I got there..even asked me what floor i would like to be on. Took time to explain everything, very kind.
Excellent location, especially for those attending conventions at the nearby and overpriced DoubleTree hotel. That location can be accessed by a back way without going onto the main highway. Close to Busch Garden and good access to main roads.\n\nThe promised mini-fridge was not in our room. Did not notice until I unpacked, then too tired to bother. Probably should have received a...
Staff was terrific\n\nElevator did not work. No heat in room. No hot water in room. Got locked out of room twice because of defect in electronic door key. Meals were grossly overpriced and the one breakfast I had was served cold.\n\nI will never stay there again and if all Marriott's go to this standard will never use Marriott again either
Friendly, helpful staff and clean bright room.\n\nWe paid for a room that included breakfast and this did not show in their system. When I showed them my Priceline receipt they took care of the problem. They made a copy of the receipt so they could try and correct this issue with future guests.\n\nI enjoyed my weekend visit and would definitely go back. I wish I had time to use the...
The outstanding customer that I received during in & check out.\n\nNo
Great hotel I would recommend to anyone thanks for an awesome hotel stay staff is very helpful
This is a newly renovated hotel everything is bright and modern. The swimming pool has half indoors and half outdoors. We loved going back after dark and floating in the pool looking at the stars.\n\nGreat hotel with a modern look and feel. They have Bistro in the lobby with fresh healthy choices for all meals. All food was cooked to order a little pricy but not any higher than other hotels.
This property is newly renovated, with light, airy, colors.Modern, clean. Wonderful bedding, shower curtains, etc. Able to control room temp easily. Great to have a fridge. Staff very welcoming. Wonderful fresh breakfasts at The Bistro. Delightful experience...
very friendly staff , clean rooms\n\nno\n\nMarriott quality is a factor that I count on
I really like the remodeled hotel. Everything seemed nice, new, and fresh. The young lady that assisted me with checking in was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional.\n\nThe rooms were a little small, given the new furniture and redecoration.\n\nThis is a great place to stay, especially if you are visiting Busch Gardens, as it is in a safe location and only about a mile from the park...
I was impressed with everything! They had just renovated so the lobby looked REALLY nice! The only complaints about the room would have been that the bed was too hard and the air conditioner wasn't working real well. I was impressed by there service and the cleanliness.
Got it for a great price. Kids loved the pool.\n\nThought breakfast buffet was included, but was not.\n\nLobby has been updated with touch tv delivering local info. Starbucks shop too. Computers to use along with printer.
Very new, updated look. Kids liked the pool that you could swim from outside to inside. Outdoor patio great for lounging. 2 queen beds instead of full Great!!\n\npay for coffee/tea in the lobby. Starbucks ugh and don't like the room coffee/tea as there isn't milk to go with it.
Hotel seems recently renovated, so everything is modern, clean, and in good repair. Staff were truly outstanding in courtesy, helpfulness, professionalism. Lobby area has a convenient, comfortable, family-friendly dining facility that serves modest menu.\n\nThe dining area lacked a high chair, but they said they had ordered some. The food quality was only fair, but for a family with small...
I like the new renovations being done. Wasn't completely finished yet, but looked great.\n\nNot at all.\n\nGreat hotel, friendly staff. Renovations looked great. Sorry we missed the grand opening of the new cafe. It was opening that night, but we will surely be back. Always love this hotel.
Rooms were very nice, good layout and good size . Everything you would want.\n\nNo\n\nOne of the nicer lobby/ shared spaces I have seen . Very close to Busch Gardens, not far from downtown Williamsburg, so convenient to everything. The room was also very nice, wished we were staying longer.
Great location, super friendly staff, clean and refurbished rooms\n\nNo free breakfast\n\nThis hotel was amazing. I got the room through one of those online bidding sites for about half the rack price and could not have been more satisfied. It is in a great location, right down the street from Busch Gardens. When I first arrived, I went to the front desk and the attendant processed my check in,...
The hotel had very nice rooms and great staff. However the hotel was undergoing renovations which meant if you wanted to use the pool you had to go outside the building to get to the pool. The weather was in the 30's... it is hard on the kids.\n\nNo\n\nVery accommodating staff will all the work going on. Very willing to help in any way to get what we needed.
Over all experience was good. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Enjoyed my stay, would stay there again.\n\nThe only thing I did not like were the pillows. Very fluffly to look at, but would go flat as soon as you put your head on it. No support. Bring your own if possible.\n\nOverall this hotel was good. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Did...
Staff was great, they were making the best of it during renovations.\n\nThe renovation that was occurring. Necessary but timing was unfortunate!\n\nIf you are playing golf at Kingsmill Resort or headed to the Park you can't beat the location. The Sportsman's Grill just down the street has great specials. Would stay again.
This hotel was under major renovation, which was not revealed prior to purchase. Had to go walk outside in the cold around building to reach front desk, and again outside to go back to room. Limited space to move around. Not pleased at all! Very unhappy!
Proximity to my destination, Kingsmill\n\nTo be surprised that a complimentary breakfast was not included with my reservation.
My family stayed two nights on a recent trip to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. Upon our arrival I was greeted by friendly staff members; however, when I got to the room and checked out the bathroom I wasn't happy. Shower/tub had not been cleaned! But when the staff found this out, they were very willing to move us to another room close by. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay again in...
We stayed here the night before my husband had an interview at a nearby business. The hotel is clean, they have a great indoor pool and hot tub that was open until 11pm. We didn't get to the pool...
Good hotel, very comfortable beds and breakfast is also good.
we stayed 2 nights at this hotel. we reseved a room for 4, we got 1 dblb room with a sofa and an extra bed. the room was very small . we had only 3 towels, and the extra bed sheets didn't look clean...
Pleasant surroundings. Bright lobby.\n\nBathroom lacked shelf space.\n\nThis Courtyard was on the list for refurbishment, and the signs of wear and outdated style were evident. Still, the rooms were a good size, the beds comfortable, and the shower hot. Until the work is completed, this is really only a 2.5 star facility.
Attractive, clean, comfortable, and convenient.\n\nI wasn't told about the free breakfast upon check-in and we missed it. Bummer.\n\nGreat hotel at a great price.
Friendly staff, great location.\n\nRooms look old, needs some renovation.
The staff at breakfast were wonderful!..Happy, accomadating and very freidly, really set us off for a great day
Very friendly, quiet, clean, and nice.\n\nNothing.\n\nVery nice.
Apple, the front desk attendant, was friendly, attentive, and helpful.\n\nThere was a sewage smell in our bathroom.\n\nWe arrived about 10:30 pm after ending a trip to Busch Gardens. We called ahead about 3pm to tell them we would arrive late and needed two queen beds for us and three kids. When we arrived the front desk agent, Apple, explained that they were out of two queen rooms. However,...

Courtyard Marriott is a nice, clean hotel. It is convenient to many of the area attractions, including Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Jamestown. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is a great way to get the day started. For the price, it is a great place for a family to stay while on vacation.
Hotel desk staff were very helpful. It was very useful having wired internet in room. The room also had a very quiet mini fridge which was handy for milk, drinks etc. Our King bed was very comfortable however our sons found the sofa bed a little hard to sleep on. The Hotel was quiet, restful and very convenient to Colonial Williamsburg (5-10mins drive). Pool could have been cleaned a bit more...

The Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well provisioned. The Hot tub was very welcoming after a cold winter's day and evening at Colonial Williamsburg. The fitness room provided us the ability to continue our routines.
The ad mentioned free breakfast. I was disappointed to learn that this was NOT included.
Since my last stay, just last week, I decided to return again. I'm dropping a star in my previous rating because I got a room on the back side of the hotel this time (seriously, the place is empty and…
