We stayed overnight on Thanksgiving. The staff was effecient in checking us in late. The rooms were very clean, had a pleasant smell and the beds were soft and comfortable.
Fine except one day they did not make up and clean the room. Got back in late and there was no one to take care of the issue. They were not very full so how they missed cleaning a room is just poor service.

I didn't feel this hotel was worth the $125 charged. Noticeable wear and tear in the bathroom and poor overall noise insulation. It probably didn't help my opinion of the hotel that some sort of youth baseball tournament was staying at the hotel. The door fit poorly so I could clearly hear kids running up and down the hall throughout the night.

I booked this hotel because I am used to staying at Marriott Courtyard hotels and expected them to have in-room movies. I had a long travel day and all I wanted to do was relax in the room and enjoy a movie, which I found after check-in was NOT available. I would NOT stay at this hotel again and I visit Richmond several times a year.

The draw for me to stay at this hotel, was the opportunity to eat on site. I would like for them to extend their breakfast hours on the weekend. 9:30 may be acceptable on week days but on the weekend they should have longer breakfast hours.
Not many upgrades. Cafe selection was exceptional! Due to construction, the main parking lot entrance was hard to access.
Great hotel and great location but the area around the hotel is under construction made it difficult to get in and out of the location. the rooms were very nice very clean and beds were confortable.
If you are looking for a hotel that is just to sleep in, this is a great hotel for that. However, If your looking for a hotel with an atmosphere or a hot tub...keep moving cause this isn't the hotel for you. The swimming pool and whirlpool need some serious reconditioning. The frontdesk staff was not very courteous at check-in although the process was rather quick. The decor of the hotel (considering it's a Marriott) could use some modern updating but the room was spacious. Bathroom was small but the room included a vanity counter and a small couch near the t.v. Our stay was moderate, but definately considering staying at another location if I'm back in the area.
