Finally came here for brunch with my wife on a Sunday. Although the tables were full we were able to get a seat at the bar. The overall atmosphere was very inviting, the layout was nice looking...

Came here with a friend for brunch, I am all about trying new places and I have only been in Virginia for a week. Stopped in here for brunch and ordered the 3 cheese bacon quesadilla and if was...

I'm not usually very impressed with the food here.  It's not bad but it's not outstanding and it's overpriced.  I do however enjoy spending an evening here every once in a while.  The inside of the place is pretty nice and the patio out back is a great place to be in the spring and fall.  The patio is decorated with lights similar to the ones out front on Queen Street and always looks inviting....

Arrived to find a busy, understaffed dining room. Our first approach and drink order took longer than acceptable. But after that everything snapped into place. Despite the full house, perfect timing for appetizer and entree deliveries. After our crispy, tender calamari, we had two of the daily specials. Tempura soft shell crabs. Perfect! NY Strip. Perfect temp and tenderness. High quality...

Consistently good food at reasonable prices with good wine and beer selections. We are pretty picky when it comes to eating out and as Hampton residents we have a large number of restaurants to choose from. More often than not wind up here. Great place to break bread with friends.

The food and service was great. the only thing we thought was we should've got some rolls and maybe a salad included in the price for the meal.

We've been twice now, and both trips were excellent. My wife loves the BBQ Chicken burrito, while I think the Blue Crab carbonara is a culinary masterpiece. Their wine list is a bit sparse but adequate. And when you're ready for dessert, the Creme Brulee cheesecake is incredible. We've had great, friendly service on both visits; and enjoy the relaxed...

Conch and Bucket was within walking distance of our hotel. I am a sucker for outdoor seating, and looked up this place on Trip Advisor when we arrived to our hotel and were starving. Very chill for a Friday evening. Seated immediately. We did not sit inside, so I cannot speak to the inside. Large bar when you walk in...

Very cute place with a great atmosphere inside and a wonderful patio to eat on out back. Loved the ambiance of the whole place! I had the shrimp and grits which could have used seasoning in my opinion. The shrimp were good but really nothing too special. My husband had the crab ravioli which was excellently seasoned. Super yummy really....

So we decided to try something different. I've been living in Hampton for a while but never really frequent the restaurants in Downtown Hampton. My sister, who was visiting from Maryland, decided she wanted to try something different. Initially, we were going to Tap House but it wasn't the right atmosphere for the all lady lunch that we had in...

We sat at the bar and had dinner. Bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon and wanted to add vegetables. The bartender informed me that it came with a side of vegetables and I should just mix those in, so I did. It was amazing! My husband got the steak special, which was perfectly...

We had been told we would be sitting outdoors. When the first of our part arrived they found their was a party being held outdoors with lots of smoking. First, we drove out of our way to visit here. Like many who are lured based on the restaurant's deceptive "Bizarre Foods" episode (2013) promo we were greatly disappointed. Search the travel channel with the show and restaurant title and you'll still read: "At the Conch and Bucket Restaurant in Hampton, VA, cownose rays are served up several different ways!...

I have to say something! We visited this restaurant because of great reviews on Trip Advisor. I do NOT normally give bad reviews, I figure everyone has a bad night. Place was not too busy and had very attentive service (on a Tuesday Evening). Food was served quickly and hot. Presentation was good (see photo). The prices belied the atmosphere. There was butcher paper covering the table cloths and tiled floors. The bar took up fully 1/3 of the restaurant. (No tap beer, beer served in a bottle with no...

Was recommended by friends and by chance the Hampton Roads Tunnel was backed up and it was dinner time. Rather than sit in a hot car, thought we would try this place out. Glad we did. I met a business colleague here, and have to say the food was very good. Fresh seafood, well prepared, good wine selection, fabulous dessert and a very good waitress. We were there for dinner, and found it very satisfying. This street reminds me of Old Town Alexandria, etc. worth stopping for a good meal, priced moderately but appropriately.

Wanted so much to like this restaurant and was excited to give it a try. Ambiance was nice for a couple of drinks and good conversation. On the other hand, food was eh and way overpriced.
