Had lunch there yesterday. Space is open and bright but needs some decorating help. Had wings and a BLT and both were good but nothing special. Staff very attentive and nice. I think they are going for sports bar. We are running out of options in Quechee so welcome addition.

A Great Pub at the Quechee Gorge

This used to be in White River Junction but moved above the Quechee Diner recently. The atmosphere is a bit underwhelming. The food is fantastic. The burgers are the best I have had in the Upper Valley. The pastrami and fish and chips is also terrific. It is simple pub fare, but outstandingly done.

What a great change its so bright and airy and cannot believe how quickly they were able to get everything done. That being said its the same great food, atmosphere and the worker bees.

Visited CJ's new restaurant in Quechee today and it is a place I will definitely good back to! I had a beer and wings, the service was prompt and very friendly and the wings were great!

A neat underground pub

I took my sister and her husband here the other night and we had a good time. The owner was friendly and the service was good. We all had sandwiches and they were all good. I will visit again when I'm in the area.

After an 11 hour Amtrak train ride we were told about CJ's. Very historic tavern with an amazing waiter and even more amazing food. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal on a budget. WE went back again on Friday night for karaoke and they made us feel like we are part of the community.

It's a dive...but great food and drink

You won't see it from the road and you might worry about walking down into the basement but once you are in, go for it. The service is friendly. There is no fancy menu but enough to meet your dinner needs and the food is pretty good. Had burgers and Philly Cheese Steak. Both were very good and reasonably priced....

We only ended up at CJ's because we were in town to see a concert! Do not eat here! Because, if you do, their careless, drinking-on-the-job bartender will accidentally add an extra digit to your bill, and charge your bank several hundred dollars, causing your bank to hold your account for 5 days.
