Great Food, Good Service

Average Rating

We passed this restaurant the first time and then decided to turn around and give it a try. The food was hot and very fresh. We tried the fish special and a grilled chiken salad. The chicken came out like it was just taken off the grill and my husband really enjoyed the fish. The waitress was very nice and...

I eat regularly here and they have great food. I have never had anything that was not top quality. The owner is very friendly as well as all the staff. There are many different menu items to choose from. See you there!

Best Keep Secret in EC

Average Rating

Love this place. We eat out often & have been to most all of EC restaurants which I enjoy most. At City Grill there is such a vast menu & we have tried several items. All of which we have enjoyed. Never had any complaints , we now eat there on an average of 3-4 times a week. Recommend it...

Decent food

We had good service and the food was decent. I had the broiled seafood platter and it was ok, just needed some spices added. Most seafood at restaurants will at least have Old Bay Seasoning added for flavor as this dish needed something. Prices were good and most complaints I've heard about City Grille is lack of seasonings. Otherwise, this...

Calamari was amazing. Service was friendly and fast. Sandwich were good. Clean restaurant. Will be going back for sure.

Nothing special

The one time I ate dinner here the food was nothing special. The chicken sandwich was fine but the fries were under cooked and my un-sweet tea has sugar on the spoon they gave me with it. They do have an eclectic menu with Greek food available along with the standard comfort foods. The staff was friendly and the prices...

Fresh, yummy food

First, I ate lunch at the City Grille and was so impressed with the freshness and goodness that I decided to plan a party in the private dinner room. Great choice! The owners couldn't have been more helpful in helping me set up the electronics for the Power Point, planning the seating and food. The night of the event, I...

Great food!. City Grille has wonderful food in large portions. Absolutely loved the 'spinach pie.' Good home-made soups. This restaurant is now open for breakfast but have not tried that yet. Highly recommend this place and they're usually busy! That's always a good sign.

Yummy food at the City Grille

Went to the new City Grille for lunch. This was my first visit to the relatively new restaurant. I was very surprised at the quality of the food. It seems that everything is made there!!! No fake salad, no frozen weird tasting chicken... just really yummy food! The greek items on the menu were especially delicious. I think the food...

Owner rude

The waitress was a sweet heart. Considering how terrible the food was. The fish platter was bland. The batter had no seasoning. The fries were hot but soft and not crisp on the outside at all. Two different orders of fries same problem. This is an 11 year olds comment of which I completely agree with. Chicken cordon bleu sandwich...

Really Great Lunch

First visit - impressed! "Spinach pie" excellent, made in-house! No where else in town will you find this dish this good! Comfortable seating, large dining room, friendly staff. Large portions - enough for two meals for this diner! Plans are to open again for breakfast in future. Specials of the day offered. Will definitely return!

Great service--average diner food--reasonable prices

My first visit here. This is a diner-type restaurant, with a very varied menu. No alcohol served. This place was originally built as a Shoney's, and the atmosphere still has that feel. Plenty of parking. Lots of desserts on display.
The service was great, even though the young man initially forgot our rolls. He was very pleasant, engaging, and attentive....

Really Good Lunch

Stopped by for lunch with my bride just before noon. They had specials posted at the cashier/hostess stand that looked good but neither of us tried them. We ordered the calamari before lunch and were really impressed with the taste, lightness of the batter, and the marinara sauce. For lunch I ordered the sausage, peppers, onions with my choice of...

New restaurant with kitchen jitters - working out the kinks

Today, July 8, was the grand opening of the City Grill. We were in the neighborhood and stopped in for lunch. I had the gyro. This was a healthy lunch, not just for what I ordered, but for the size of the portion. The tzatziki sauce was perfectly seasoned, but this sandwich had too much feta cheese in it for...
